No thank you thats false advertisement it said there are more inks and needles in store then what they are showing on their page. Don't know what the previous reviewer was talking about this was the cleanest most professional and most competent place I've ever been to. The piercer has been piercing for years and is a true professional female not a creepy tattoo guy just doing it for a few extra dollars. The only attitudes I've ever found were in the tattoo shops this place treat you like family just like they say and their prices are most of the time half of what the tattoo shops charge for piercings and even less than half when it comes to charging for tattoos. I was going to give 1 star but I decided to give 2 because my first experience here was good. I didnt have to wait long to be seen, they marked me to confirm where I wanted the piercing, the staff seemed friendly and my healing process was a breeze! Had no problem. Now, my second time I got my cartridge pierced, lets keep in mind I had my cartridge done 4 times (from a different company) and had no problem, though I did remove the previous piercings it was due to appearance reasons, but I never had any swelling or infection from them. The piercing done here was the most painful piercing I ever got, i felt as though a nerve was hit in the process. My whole ear was extremely swollen and my neck and ear was in an abundance amount of pain. My ear was swollen to the point where the earing sunk into my ear. I text the company (because they didnt answer when I called) and told them my problem. The earing was stuck in my ear and I needed to get this one out because it was to small due to swelling. Keep in mind everyone takes swelling differently and they should have multiple different sizes due to different size ears. But they told me as well as other customers that give a negative review on them they used the correct size equipment. Obviously they didnt because if they did I wouldnt have had this problem. My ear started to swell approx 2 days prior to contacting the company. Due to them being closed July 3rd and 4th I was told to come in on the 5th at 12pm when they open. I was expected to keep the earing in for 2 days even though it was stuck in my ear and causing me an extreme amount of pain. It got to a point where I couldn't take it anymore and had to take it out. I contacted the company telling them my situation and I was told their is nothing they can do because I shouldn't have took the earing out. Realistically, who would keep a piercing that is sinking inside their ear and causing an extreme amount of pain in for 2 almost 3 days?! The person I contacted seemed unprofessional and honestly like they didnt even care about the situation and how its all my fault. Im not sure why they are voted #1 in the AV. Definitely taking my business elsewhere. Also I was reading the owner responces to other customers and they seemed so rude! Like they are always right, and what they did was right, and how they handled everything right. Very disappointed. They are #1 in the AV to mess up your body and will not fix it nor do anything to fix it. Yes their prices are good but is it worth it for a bad piercing???? I rather spend a few dollars more and get it done right the first time. For future customers I advize to go elsewhere. Had I looked at these reviews befor e I went, I wouldnt have came here. I decided I wanted my nipples pierced and was going to go with a piercer in one of the tattoo shops. But we couldn't seem to make that connection and then I found out they wouldn't be available for a couple weeks. I made a few calls and ended up coming here. Stephanie was super nice and helpful in addressing my concerns over my nickel allergy and we settled on jewelry and decided to do it. Everyone told me getting my nipples pierced was going to hurt like heck so I was prepared for it to be awful. My only other piercings were done 36 years ago when i was a baby .Stephanie was quick and gentle and told me what she was doing each step of the way. She had me take a deep breathe and on the start of the exhale, she did the piercing. I yelled but she had the bar in in seconds. Five minutes later the other side was done and I didn't do much more than whimper. It was a really good non-traumatic experience from her and I might be back soon to get something else done.EDIT 6/27/17I went back today and saw Stephanie again, this time she did my septum and a VCH, both of which were almost painless. Cannot recommend her enough! My piercings look great and they're more affordable than the tattoo parlors, though that's not my main reason for going there. Highly recommend. Read Less

I don't know what the previous poser is talking about... Hottie Body is the only shop not owned by sleazy tattoo artists and who is always courteous to a fault. They are usually very busy because of their great reputation and low prices so sometimes I've had to message them. They answer all questions without attitude or delay. I guess some people give attitude over this and like to whine about it here. Remember respect is earned and if you disrespect someone (even a business) don't be surprised if you get it back. I see now why most people have rated this business as a (1). I tried to phone them several times and was met with a message to text. Unfortunately, I live way out and cell reception is bad. So, I left a FB message and after (2) days received an unwarranted condescending and nasty response. I have never even met these people and simply asked a question on whether they do eyebrow tattooing or not. And now, by reading the other reviews and the way that they were answered by Hottie Body, I am surprised that they are still in business. Who treats their customers and potential customers like that? Who will really go in for a potential tattoo or piercing with such a volatile attitude...and the past customers pictures of the horrid works says it all. For anyone that actually has been into Hottie Body they know that Hottie Body Jewelry and Tattoo is not only the cleanest shop in the AV but that they have always had courteous and fully licensed artists and that anyone trying to slander that great shop with lies (like the preceeding review, written by an artist that was terminated for being unprofessional and doing the exact things he is accusing others there of doing!) is either a competitor or an artist that was let go. Obviously, no other shop will have them and they realize they blew the best thing they ever had, and have alot of time on their hands (not tattooing) to write lies about the great shop that they didn't measure up to! If you want to know why Hottie Body is the #1 Tattoo and Piercing Shop in the AV (and growing) stop in for yourself. Completely unprofessional. I got HIT ON by the piercer, some creepy guy with reddish-brown hair named Danny. I also had gotten a tattoo by him earlier that day and I actually got a STAPH INFECTION from him. My piercing (eyebrow) migrated in less than a week, and they had the nerve to say it was my fault! I have been getting pierced since I was 14, I am now 26, and I had NEVER had a piercing migrate before this. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN, AND I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! Read Less

THE BEST BODY PIERCING and TATTOOS in the AV! I am a mother and when my daughter wanted her navel pierced, I told her no, only because I didn't want to go into a tattoo shops that I've heard bad things about (which is almost all of them around here). I asked some of my friends who they went to and heard about Hottie Body Jewelry. I heard they are the best body piercers anywhere and they are NOT a tattoo shop! I took my daughter in to Hottie Body and found the place was clean, professional and in a nice part of town. I also appreciated that their master piercer was a woman (named Robin) who gladly explained everything to me and showed me her licenses and county health permit. Robin quoted me a price much lower than the tattoo shops wanted and that sold me. My daughter's piercing went perfectly.
