Half a dozen people have stopped me in the street to tell me my tattoo is nasty. Amateur. That the artist had a shaky hand...etc. They have asked, 'What's it supposed to be?' and then looked baffled at the answer... I was furious at the time, and I am still. I won't say the name- but he DIDN'T LISTEN to a word I said about my design, even when I stopped him in mid-tattoo!! Evidently he had decided to himself what I wanted, and drew that instead. I stumbled across this wonderful place after I had researched and visited ten other shops and lastly was insulted during a consolation at Psycho City. The first thing I noticed was an immaculately clean area, (you could smell the disinfectant but not in an obnoxious way,) and the artwork was stunning. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant, helpful and very professional. They made me feel comfortable and made my artwork a reality I proudly wear. I also had my tongue pierced there. Oh my gosh absolutely awesome,!!!! The apmasphere is cool and confortable, every one greets you with a sincere smile! When you walk in office is clean and neat very professional! creatively decorated! My daughter had her tattoo done by the very talented artist Tee who really just took our Ideas and made it into a badass tattoo! He is insightfull and clever, and very kind to his customers. Went to get a cover up done here yesterday . I did my homework first . Read all the reveiws on Yelp , Google & fb and looked at lots of pics of their work . Went in as a walk in . I already knew from the reveiws everyone at the shop was great so I didn't care who I got to take care of me . Junior came out and listened to what I wanted . He drew it up in about 15 minutes . I approved the design and bam ! 2 hours later and my old ugly tattoo was replaced by beautiful flowers and a perfect butterfly ! I absolutely am in love with my new tattoo . As everyone else said in the reveiws . The shop is very nice & clean . The staff is friendly and helpful and their work is amazing ! 5 stars for sure !! I will be referring everyone I know here !! I'm not going to lie I have never been to happy with my art work I have gotten from other shops or random house artist.but once I was introduce to electric soul I love my new art work and some revamped pieces I've had done..everyone at the shop is genuine down to earth and cool people out side of the job...the only thing I can say I don't like their is the actual tattooing.. It hurts lol like any tattoo, but once you get your art down you'll forget about that..I have been going to the artist Evan for all my work and I love the pieces and so do the people who see them..he gets the job done right...I plan to get more art done here its my home for good body art.. This place is amazing. T is my go too, although I would like to get some work done from everyone in the Electric Soul Family. They are not your typical tattoo shop. They all take pride in their work, and you can really tell how much they love it. And they make the entire tattoo experience fun, holding conversations, joking, even the other artists come in from time to time so see what is going on, and tell you how good it's looking. Amanda gave my dad his very first tattoo, an...d all he wants to do is get more. My husband and I recently got mystery tattoos. Mine from T and my husband from both T and Junior. We absolutely love them, and had no idea what they would look like until they were completed. And I would do it all over again. My husband had this really bad sleeve started in the spare bedroom of a little house down in oceanside before we met. And Junior has worked on it for one session so far, and it actually looks like art now. We've taken my mom to get tattooed for her birthday. I've gotten tattooed all over the world while touring with bands such as Offspring, Dropkick Murphy's, Rancid and Social Distortion. I have probably gotten tattooed by more than 20 or 30 people in my life, but for the last few years, I haven't gone to anyone but T (one of the owners of Electric Soul). And in the future I won't go to anyone but T, because one thing I've learned is it's not only the quality of the work, but the quality of the person doing the work, and I can ...attest to the fact that the people at this shop are good people. On tour I get offered free tattoos almost daily, but truth be told, you get what you pay for, and I'd rather pay for world class- grade A work. This is what Electric Soul provides, so if you want some crappy tattoo from a novice, this is not the shop for you, but if you want something amazing that will still look amazing in 20 years, then this is where you go. I live in Hollywood almost a hour away from the shop, and there are loads closer to me, but when I need work (which is often) I drive the hour happily. I've had enough bad experiences in my life to know I don't want another one, so I go with who's the best now, and I strongly believe in T and Electric Soul. Don't come here....Danny pierced me and gave me the wrong size stud...I swelled passed the piercing...I was going to have to go to another tattoo shop to get fitted for the proper size..but the other tattoo shop said there was too much damage...so I had to take it out...total waste of time...I would never recommend this place to any of my friends,family,or Clients Read Less

I walked in and they told me that they do not do walk-ins so “the artist” gave me an appointment for more than a month away. He told me I had to give them a $20 deposit…. So I did because I was sure I wanted the appointment. “The Artist” also said he would email me a picture of my tattoo within the next few days. WRONG!! I had to email him and ask him for it and then when I told him I wanted changes he never emailed me back. The day of my actual appointment I get a call from Danny at the shop telling me Even had to cancel my appointment because he was too tired from the tattoo he was working on and was going home after he was done with that one. Evan wanted to reschedule me and tell ME! The client a date and time. WRONG!!! You should have asked what is the best date and time for me! Since you canceled on ME!! Now I had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate him after he disappointed me!! I don’t think so!! That is bad customer service dude.So my point is what the hell do you give an appointment for and ask for a deposit if you’re going to call and cancel. I don’t know who these fancy guys think they are but they aren’t the only ones with busy schedules.
