Was recommended by a friend to check this out and get my piercings at this location. I immediately went inside and I was not greeted for about 5 to 10 minutes I had to wait for one of the employees to finish his cigarette and come inside to greet me. When I told him the type of piercing I wanted he responded with " I don't have that item right now if you want come back in a week or two we can do it then".. seriously? What a joke! Two weeks to wait for a piercing?  And on top of that wait two weeks for what more bad customer service or you messing up a piercing on my skin?!? Got my 1st done yesterday...to say I'm in love is an understatement. Dope as **** black and grey forearm tattoo with a Rose & Script @ the top and bottom. I love the shop as a whole; the layout was very spacious and the vibes were super laid-back (shout out to Josh lmao guys hilarious). Robert was AMAZING!!! Light-handed, humble, and focused. Gave me exactly what I wanted to honor my bestfriend's memory and to honor those still with me. Well within the price I was hoping for.... Even my dad was impressed and pointed out little details he really liked (which is HUGE lmao) . Came to this shop with high hopes and I wasn't disappointed. Being recommended by a friend about an artist who works here who goes by Lex. First thing I noticed is that the studio is kept very clean, it's well organized, and the artists there are very professional and passionate about their work. They all have a photo album showcasing their individual work and they're far from average quality tattoos, they're great quality tattoos. Got my septum pierced by Richard about 5 months ago. The area was cleaned and he felt for the "sweet spot", but I wouldn't be able to say if that's where he put the needle through. Was a quick and slightly painful experience. I like that he waited to open the clamps and needle in front of me, kinda reassuring that they were sanitized/new. It's nice place over all. No one hesitated on answers to my questions, which made me feel better about giving them my business. Only con is that I didn't see any "Cash Only" signs nor was I told when I signed the waiver, but having to leave and go back wasn't a huge deal. Read Less

Have come here for two different tattoos from two different artists and both were fantastic. As soon as you walk in you're greeted kindly and you feel welcomed, it is a very chill and cool environment, which is what you want in a tattoo shop. Cleanliness is also top tier here and the artists are very talented. They have a variety of different artist with specific styles. Got my first tattoo here about 10 years ago because a friend recommended it. He has been getting a lot of work done, and I wanted to go with someone I felt safe with. I went without an appointment and they fit me in. I cannot remember who did my tattoo, but he was nice and we worked with ideas I had. Very clean place & it was a comfortable environment. The guys were more friend-funny than professional-funny, but maybe because I arrived with a client/friend of theirs. I loved my tattoo, even though the artist added some small extras I didn't approve beforehand, he said they would fade away with time. They haven't, but it is part of my first tattoo experience and still love it. I've had a couple friends get a few tattoos from here right after me and they've liked their work as well. My family and I were looking to get a tattoo for Mother's Day, with some searching I found the shop through yelp and then went to their website to get more info and decided they'd be the people to go to. We were not disappointed! Our artist was Robert aka OG Sneeks who is also the owner. He was awesome!!! Very accommodating and patient with 3 women who had an idea but didn't know exactly what we wanted. We told him our idea and  he went right to sketching and came up with something we were all very happy with. He's got a light hand which was very nice considering my past tattooing experiences. Shop was VERY clean and sterile. Big space and cool environment. Prices are good too. My family and I will only go to him from here on out and I will only recommend Robert and company at deadmans. Justine is AH-MAZ-ZING! Drove out from LA on a recommendation from a friend. Saw a lot of Justines work on social media and decided her style was totally up my alley. I've lived in LA 5 years now and I've had a hard time finding *my* tattoo artist, it seems the scene here is getting on t.v. or don't give your clients the time of day. *eye roll*, I've found 1 artist here that I adore, but I definitely like having options for different styles, everyone has their strong points and certain people are better at certain styles (i.e. black and white, shading, traditional, realism) Justine does a little bit of everything, and i appreciate that. The shop is huge, and welcoming, the guys there definitely made me feel welcomed....another thing LA needs to work on. The shop was no bullshit, not tons of photos of celebrities on the wall, or articles about how awesome they are, just great artwork and no frills. They have a nice waiting room and a really awesome drawing table when you walk in you can see what the artists have been working on, I dig that. Justine can also hold a solid conversation, she makes the time go by quick. I've been tattooed by people before that give 1 word answers or don't talk at all....look, im not looking for constant entertainment, I know you need to be focusing on your work....but damn, you could cut the tension with a knife at some of the shops here in LA. Everyone is just too into themselves and theres little to know value in customers. I will definitely be making the drive to Lancaster A LOT. Great artist, great work and overall just super nice. She really values her customers and appreciates that her artwork is going on someones body for life. I mean, when you think about it, how cool is that? And how do you get to the point where you take something like that for granted?I also saw Lex tattooing someone across from me, he was fixing a scratchers work, I believe, and the guys leg sleeve when he was finished with it looked DOPE! I showed a lot of my guy friends his work since they all dig that style, so I think next time I head out, I will have a few road trip buddies coming to see him too. I'm really glad I came across Deadmans Studio, if it wasn't for them none of my tattoos would've happened!! Ozzy and Sneaks are both really talented artists, professional, friendly, and clean. It's good to know that they take cleansiness seriously, cause some places don't!!! Gotta trust your tattoo artists, and Ozzy and Sneaks are both great!! I went to get my lips double pierced and everything way great! From the beginning everyone was super nice and easy going. All the employees chit chatted a little and I never felt uncomfortable there. The piercings were done by Sergio and they we virtually pain free and very clean. On the way home the ball fell off and I went back and he was more than happy to replace it with a new clean and sterile jewelery. No attitude just nice apologetic and professional. I had wanted these piercings for a bit but decided at the last minute to rush out and get it .
