I found Jon through a Facebook site, and I am so glad that I did. Jon has done 4 sessions on an Alice in wonderland/star wars mash up sleeve for me. Been going to Greg Nicola for a couple years, he's done a great job starting with a cover up to a large fairy themed legged, super mythical, great colors, awesome artist, Clean... clean shop, with great Medusa, statue theme. I was recommended to Greg by a very close friend. I needed some previous chest and arm work cleaned up. Greg went beyond cleaning and really put my personality in both side of me. He will complete chest, shoulders, and arms. He really does some sic work. So stoked that only Greg will ink me. Don't care if and where I may ever move to. I love this place! Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. All of the artists are incredibly talented and there's such a wide range of styles between them all. I've been to 3 of the 4 artists there and I've never left disappointed. Eric Branchfield sold me on my first traditional tattoos. He works fast and his lines are clean. Well since I recommend this place to Everyone I know I might as well do a review..lol. I have gotten 4 tattoos here in the last year 18 months or so and am ready for more. Jon Leighton is my guy. That is because I love bright ass colors that look like stickers. The other guys Greg and Jeremy are bad ass too. I have fun when I go in for my Amazing Body Art. Although I will agree with most when it comes to getting in contact with someone in regard to a consultation, but I do not think that warrants a 1 or 2 star rating. To each his own. Moving on...The tattoo shop is located on the second floor of a business complex. It has a military or militia decor with different murals on the walls. The shop is very clean and organized. All staff members are very pleasant and knowledgable. Pros: clean, organized, pleasant staff, knowledgable staff, plenty of photo samples for those who do not know what they want, experienced artists, fair prices for quality of workCons: appointments are a pain to schedule sometimes, wait times for walk-ins vary (but they advise making an appointment to combat this issue)I have gotten work done here and so has my wife. We are very pleased with all the work done and we especially like the work performed by Jeremy Brown. Lovin my tattoo artist and the unique clean shop. My artist is Greg Nicola. There are a few other artist that work there and they too are legit and reliable. The silent guns were new for me, I used to look forward to that noise, but it's all good.  They each have their own Facebook page to see their individual work,  just look up armored ink, and their names will follow. They are all by appointment only as far as I seen, and it's all good. I made an appointment per month for 5 months ahead to make sure I don't skip a beat. I'm so excited I'm in,  their work is sick!Also I noticed someone (krystyl z) complaining they don't answer their phones, I would hit anyone of them up on Facebook. As far as I see, they are at the shop to work on their appointments, they don't sit around answering phones, or hoping for a walk in... plus they got back to her wroth their answer,  just cause she didn't like it she gave a star.  I find her opinion irrelevant. Wish I could give them less than one star. Awful customer service. Completely unprofessional. I have tried to get in touch with two separate artists  at this particular shop.one never responded. And the second told me he had an opening, I asked him how much for the deposit and he never answered so I kept trying.Sent several emails without response then  he finally responded 5 days later we decided on another day,I asked how much the deposit would be to secure that day and he never responded. That was a week ago, a phone call, left messages and three emails ago. I don't know how anyone gets tattooed here, they never respond. Super unprofessional.  It doesn't matter how good an artist's work is,if they treat their customers like shit, their talent is irrelevant .Go somewhere where they treat you like a human being. I've been trying to call for 4 days now, I have a couple grand in work that needs to be done and I am so disappointed that this shop doesn't seem to want my business.  Not only will they not answer their phone but they also expect me to set an appointment with an artist sight unseen and commit to using his work without benefit of consult, they left me with nothing good to say, find some place that wants your business rather than a "good ole boys club". I have and will only have work done by Jeremy Brown of Armored Ink.I was referred to Jeremy a few years ago for a portrait, when I began to follow his work I was more then impressed. Jeremy did a portrait for me that I get complimented on daily. His work is so clean, detailed and accurate. He pays so much attention to detail, his work still amazes me daily. I have referred many friends and coworkers to this shop and everyone as a whole is impressed by the work these guys can do. On top of their amazing abilities the shop is ALWAYS clean and has a good vibe... and to top it off It is really nice not to be bothered by walk-ins. I have been told my whole life "you get what you pay for" and they exceed my expectations. These guys can definitely charge more then they do but they keep it a pretty fair price and that's very nice. I will follow Jeremy wherever he goes, he is that AMAZING of an artist!Read Less

When I moved to Lake Elsinore, I asked around for information on the local tattoo shops. Repeatedly I was told about Jeremy and Armored Ink. I've now had two tattoos done by him, and they are beautiful! I also really like the shop. Its private and clean, and I really appreciate that they don't do "walk ins" because anyone who is tattooed knows how frustrating it can be to have your artist get interrupted 10 times in one sitting by people coming in and out with questions. This is the most professionally run tattoo shop I've ever gone to. The staff is beyond friendly and makes you feel comfortable instantly. It is insanely clean, and neat. Most importantly, the artists are all amazing. I have friends that use Greg Nicola and his work is perfection. My fiancée is having work done by Yasmine Anderson and he couldn't be happier. I have know Greg personally for over 15 yrs. This guys is absolutely insane amazing! His artwork transcends your typical tattooist who use flash art and do not work with the client to achieve their goals in their artwork. Greg, does free-hand work that blows your mind!
