Went to a couple of shops as I wanted to get 3 pieces done on my day off. All artists at other shops were booked so I took the extra drive and chance and went to Aspired. Today I stopped by to buy some new jewelry. The guy sitting in the back was not very helpful. He seemed like he didn't want to be there and a little rude. He didn't know the prices of the different rings or the gauge sizes... He didn't make an effort to check in the back or at the register. He just said, "what we have out is all we have. Came here for Rick and he was super professional and listens to everything that I wanted in a tattoo. I told him what I wanted and he exceeded my expectations. I even brought my friend over for moral support and even he wanted Rick as an artist for the next tattoo. The next session, he finished mine up and he did my friend's also. The shop was clean and presentable and had private rooms which is a plus but Rick made my first tattoo experience amazing. He was made it relaxing as it could possibly be and is a very chill down to earth and talented artist along with the other artists there. My boyfriend and I were at the mall and we are not from the area and decided to Yelp a near by tattoo shop. We called 1 hour before closing time and Jairo told us to come in. Very friendly and attentive on the phone which made us feel comfortable to come in. He took us in last minute and hand drew a date we wanted done. Came here originally because I followed Trigger after he left the other shop to have him touch up work he did. Since then, I've gotten multiple tattoos here. I came on Friday the 13th for their special and had Blake pierce my septum. He was super helpful and knowledgeable of what he was doing. I came the next day and had Justin tattoo my ankle. Even though it was painful for me he was very patient and steady handed. I refer my friends here because out of all the 5 different tattoo artists and piercers I've had before, all have been amazing! Guillermo AKA Gizmo Torres and Aspired Ink are AMAZING. I have never had a tattoo and really never thought I would but after my wife recent battle with Breast Cancer I felt compelled for a piece to commemorate her battle. Gizmo took a piece of art that I brought him and tweaked it and improved it into a Master Piece! When he finally had the piece laid out to both of our satisfaction he proceeded to do what a Master Craftsman does and take his time and passion to lay ink onto ...this virgin skin.
