This review is for Kalani Storch. I saw that a friend had gotten a new tattoo, a colored realism piece, and I asked for the referral. Kalani is a very nice dude and we (my wife and I) had the pleasure of meeting his wife during our consultation. He is truly a family man but very professional. I sent him my idea and references and he made it come true.I went with a realistic heart, black and grey, on my sternum to commemorate the triple bypass surgery my dad had this year. Kalani followed up a week before our appointment and showed me a stencil and explained to me how a stencil is just a map for him and that the final work will look much better.My session was nearly four hours, half of which was very painful since the endorphins had worn off. Although, Kalani did apply a numbing topical, it hardly worked (he had warned me that it may not work). I toughed it out and am in love with it. I could not have asked for a better artist. He helped me stay calm and offered me breaks when he saw that I was uncomfortable.He will always be the guy I go to locally when I'm ready for my next piece.
