As a recent college graduate from UC Santa Cruz, I was really missing the beach towns and art vibes of the city so I decided to spend the weekend in Laguna! It was my first time here and I wanted to get a memento to remember the trip.
Some of the locals suggested Cast of Crowns, and the first thing I noticed was how insanely beautiful the place is. There was a large deck with an ocean view to hang out on, and I was surrounded by gorgeous paintings from the bevy of in-house artists.
Ciera was the piercer on hand, and she was by far the most comforting yet professional body art practitioner I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! She was super bubbly and made me even more excited to be there. We went over what I wanted, a simple nostril stud, and then she painstakingly helped my indecisive self pick out the perfect piece of jewelry. She answered any questions i had about the pieces with absolute ease. This girl is a straight up expert in the field.
After we had everything picked out and cleaned up, we were ready to get started! Ciera walked me through each step of the piercing, making sure I felt comfortable all along the way. The piercing itself was an absolute breeze!! Within the span of a couple deep breaths I was the proud owner of a brand new nostril piercing! Ciera got my nose all cleaned up and gave me a super detailed explanation of what to expect throughout the healing process, then we had a fun little photoshoot out on the deck so she could document the piercing.
This was by far the best experience I've had in a tattoo/piercing shop. Even though I don't live in Laguna, this place is my new regular stop whenever I want to get adorned with some new body art.

How the hell are you going to run a business around pierces when they aren’t there. You might as well just save your damn money and only be open when you have a piercer so you can actually get something done.

Parking was easy, something you can't say about anywhere else in Laguna Beach! Corey is super easygoing, helpful, and really made us feel welcome. This is not your average strip mall tattoo shop, it's more a gathering of artists, exactly what we were looking for!

What a wonderful experience. Took my daughter here on Saturday, we were getting tattoos together. We met with our tattoo artist, Corey Remington who is amazing! Not only does he do awesome work, he steered us in the right direction as to where to put our tattoos. He is very professional and is a high class guy. I would definitely recommend him to whoever wants an honest, kind, great tattoo artist. When my daughter and I get another tattoo, we will for sure come see Corey.. Thank you Corey. Can not express my love for this tattoo shop and Corey's work enough. This was my first tattoo and I was incredibly nervous. Corey kept the whole process so relaxed. I really appreciated how well he listened to my thoughts and concerns. He took time to work on my design and make it x20 times better then I had originally expected. While at the same time keeping and improving all of the elements of the tattoo that were important to me. The shop itself is very clean and comfortable. The walls are decorated with original pieces by the tattoo artists and it helps you appreciate just how talented these professionals are. Also Corey pulls the best faces while he is giving a tattoo. And the shops music is on point.

Anthony (tattoo) and Desi (piercing) also made it a great experience by making me always feel welcome and brought lots of fun to the day. Before my first visit during the Laguna ART Walk in August I had extremely high expectations from all of the admiration shared by the friend who enticed me to attend but from the moment I arrived into the welcoming relaxed atmosphere of multi-talented artists and friendly guests enJOYing the complimentary wine, hors d'oeuvres, live music and conversation I realized she was definitely not exaggerating the awesomeness of this beautiful intimate creative space and the extremely hospitable and endearing owner Anthony and Cory both with incredible life stories of humanitarian bravery and generosity you will be blown away to discover and confirm why each piece is obviously genuine ART from the heART including upscale intricate tattoo designs and the most clean and pristine piercing station I've ever seen. It was such an unexpected BlesSING to be invited to perform at their next event in September which was a FUN opportunity to reconnect with Laguna friends I hadn't seen for a while and who were also impressed with their Cast of Crowns Collective experience aka inspiration overload LoL Ironically just a few days later I received a voice mail message from someone with a wrong number for the tattoo artist she lost contact with 7 yrs ago so I was happy to call her back with my high recommendations for her new tattoo angels !!! I had the pleasure to work with Anthony and it was an experience that I will never forget. Late last year my father passed away and it was a very difficult time for me. I wanted to get something to remember my father and after much consideration I thought a tattoo would be perfect. I wanted to do and something that would have meaning. I landed on the idea of a portrait of my father. Being that this was my first tattoo and probably my last I wanted it to be perfect. After much research I was introduced to Anthony. During the entire process Anthony was there and so glad he was. He first arranged a meeting prior to my session to discuss what I wanted. He also wanted to get to know me and my story. He took the time because he cared and it showed. During the eleven hour session, every inch was done with precision and pride. He made sure I was comfortable and kept my spirits high. The guy is an artist, but most importantly he is a genuine person. He cares about his his clients and takes the extra steps! I'm new to the industry of tattooing but I feel that the industry needs more guys like Anthony!

As a recent college graduate from UC Santa Cruz, I was really missing the beach towns and art vibes of the city so I decided to spend the weekend in Laguna! It was my first time here and I wanted to get a memento to remember the trip.

Best tattoo and piercing studio in Laguna! Had the pleasure of being tattooed by Corey and he was amazing! Very professional and welcoming. He did two flowers on my hip and it was a great experience. Anthony (tattoo) and Desi (piercing) also made it a great experience by making me always feel welcome and brought lots of fun to the day. Overall this is the go to place for tattoo and piercing needs! High quality, clean, and safe in all practices.

Before my first visit during the Laguna ART Walk in August I had extremely high expectations from all of the admiration shared by the friend who enticed me to attend but from the moment I arrived into the welcoming relaxed atmosphere of multi-talented artists and friendly guests enJOYing the complimentary wine, hors d'oeuvres, live music and conversation I realized she was definitely not exaggerating the awesomeness of this beautiful intimate creative space and the extremely hospitable and endearing owner Anthony and Cory both with incredible life stories of humanitarian bravery and generosity you will be blown away to discover and confirm why each piece is obviously genuine ART from the heART including upscale intricate tattoo designs and the most clean and pristine piercing station I've ever seen. It was such an unexpected BlesSING to be invited to perform at their next event in September which was a FUN opportunity to reconnect with Laguna friends I hadn't seen for a while and who were also impressed with their Cast of Crowns Collective experience aka inspiration overload LoL Ironically just a few days later I received a voice mail message from someone with a wrong number for the tattoo artist she lost contact with 7 yrs ago so I was happy to call her back with my high recommendations for her new tattoo angels !!! I had the pleasure to work with Anthony and it was an experience that I will never forget. Late last year my father passed away and it was a very difficult time for me. I wanted to get something to remember my father and after much consideration I thought a tattoo would be perfect. I wanted to do and something that would have meaning. I landed on the idea of a portrait of my father. Being that this was my first tattoo and probably my last I wanted it to be perfect. After much research I was introduced to Anthony. During the entire process Anthony was there and so glad he was. He first arranged a meeting prior to my session to discuss what I wanted. He also wanted to get to know me and my story. He took the time because he cared and it showed. During the eleven hour session, every inch was done with precision and pride. He made sure I was comfortable and kept my spirits high. The guy is an artist, but most importantly he is a genuine person. He cares about his his clients and takes the extra steps! I'm new to the industry of tattooing but I feel that the industry needs more guys like Anthony!
