I woke up with brows!   Have been wanting to get my brows tattooed for a few years.   Janell @ Doll Face did an amazing job!  I am no longer afraid of leaving the house, before pencil, gel or powdering on brows.  Years of plucking and going gray, my brows were very sparce.  No more worrying about sweating & accidently wiping off part of a brow, or the whole thing. Gosh it's so great to have eye definition without effort. Janell gives clear instructions before and after, takes care to do touchups, and I have a great outcome. Pool time, exercise, heat and sweat and pale complexion - then get permanent make up. If I have time before we move I'll lip liner.Years ago I had permanent eyeliner done but it was a different technique.It was a kind of scratching with color, not bad, but Janell's is more like tattooing which my mom and sister had done. My first experience with permanent eyeliner was disappointing. Even after my second visit my eyeliner was faint and not even from one side to the other. I spent $500. I eventually decided to try it again and found Janell. Since I am allergic to makeup I wanted eyeliner that would pop without looking like too much of a good thing. Janell delivered and for a much better price! That was about two years ago. Recently I just went back to see her for a touch up and was reminded of what a perfectionist she is. I love my permanent eyeliner SOO MUCH! had the lowers done in spring, the uppers done in summer and a little touch up to add more drama to the upper corners last month. Janell is amazing. I had my brows done a couple months ago and loved them. Today was my touch up appointment and I remembered why I liked Janelle so much.  She is professional and precise. She saw spots she wanted to "fix" that I would never notice. She takes pride in her work and will make sure you walk out a happy customer and looking good. In an effort to decrease the amount of make-up & time I have to spend on getting my eyes to look like they exist, I called Doll Face.  The availability for an appointment was about 6 weeks out at the time of my call...bummer for me as I was eager & excited to try permanent makeup.  Janell did offer to call me if she had a cancellation.  Lucky me - someone cancelled so I was able to get in just over 2 weeks from my initial call.  Due to my lack of experience with tattooing of any kind, I opted for just upper eyeliner.  The process was painless, the environment totally comfortable & the result is perfect... exactly what I was looking for!  It's been almost a week at this writing and I've not had any problems with healing, etc.  Very little discomfort the first day that was assuaged with an ice pack.  The biggest inconvenience is no mascara for a week.  Ugh. If I knew then, what I know now, I would have had Janell do so much more.  I've already made another appointment (6 weeks out again as she's all booked up) to get more done. Doll Face is appropriately named as it describes Janell perfectly!  She's professional, extremely talented & a pleasure to chat with while she works.  I suspect there are other choices in our area for permanent make-up, but I'd never go anywhere else.  I've already found the best there is. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!I would first like to begin by thanking Janell for her kindness and above all, boosting my confidence tremendously! I had a full natural color done on my lips. For the longest time I have had an insecurity about my top lip having shape, but lacking the color that defines it. Janell perfectly lined and filled my lip color with such a flattering shade! Now I have the option to apply some Chapstick and run out the door instead of always having to apply lipstick. Very convenient and a lovely subtle look.As far as procedures and services... Janell is very thoughtful, kind, and straight forward. She educated me nicely on the procedure I was interested in, when I got nervous previous to my appointment she was kind enough to be reassuring, and took time to discuss exactly what I wanted and shared her recommendations. I was a little nervous since I have been thinking about eyebrow tattoos for years but was really worried about finding the wrong person to do them.  It is very rare for a tattoo artist to have perfect reviews.  I felt reassured about seeing Janell after looking at the reviews and her excellent work.  I finally took the plunge and booked an appointment.  I have eyebrows that have been losing hair due to age (middle age problem) and I am clueless about drawing in the shape.  I spend little time doing make-up with poor results and the make-up rubs off so I hated the fact that my eyebrows melted away and if it looks good, I can't replicate it the next day.Janelle took a good look at my face and eyebrows and suggested that I go natural since I had most of my original brows.  I agreed.  She drew in the brow and then added a numbing agent.  The numbing cream stung a little and then the needle was barely felt.  No pain.  Just tickling.  When the numbing cream started to wear off, I could feel a slight prick but not bad.  It was about an hour when both brows were done.  I was shocked at first how dark my brows where but within two days, my brows faded and now no one can tell that I have brow tattoos.  I have perfect brows every day when I wake up and my brows look great.  It matches my face and looks better than the brows I was born with!  It was like having plastic surgery because it made my entire face look prettier.  I am very happy with the results and thankful that I went to Janell.  Her studio is small but comfortable and cute.  I love her set-up.  I highly recommend Janell if you have been wanting to have your eyebrows tattooed. Just had my eyebrows done and I LOVE them. Janelle is thoughtful and explains the whole process to you before anything.  She also draws them in first before anything and makes sure you are ok with everything before she proceeds.
