I have been coming to Players Club for a few years now and I love that there is so much diversity in artists. I go to Dom for almost of my work. I love that I can just throw out and idea and what he comes up with is exactly what I saw in my head. I've gotten all 4 of my piercings done by dom and needless to say they healed perfectly and quickly. I would never go to anyone else to get a piecing, dom is quick and good! Came in on Saturday 2/16 for a simple outline of a heart on my knuckle. My first mistake was assuming I'd be paying the shop minimum, as I previous got a tattoo of the Seattle skyline from here no bigger than 3in long and only paid $80.00, I ended up paying $100.00 for a heart smaller than a dime, that took maybe 15 minutes and it's laughable at how bad it is. I get that it shouldn't take more than 15 mins for this but at the same time I expected a better quality tattoo for $100.00 as your motto is "good tattoos ain't cheap, and cheap tattoos ain't good" Well, this tattoo wasn't cheap and it still isn't good. I can't wait to get it covered up once it's healed.  10/10 would not recommend this shop to anyone. Read Less

Mikey Baltierra did my wife's first tattoo, a small script on her arm. Turned out great! I asked him about his ability to do a portrait tattoo for me on my dorearm. He said he could do it so a few weeks later I came back. The photo I gave him was less than perfect but he did an amazing job in getting the basics inked during the first (4 hr) session. Everything about this experience was terrible. I asked for a cube on my arm, and explained to the artist that I wanted it to look symmetrical and with 3 dashes for the diagonal lines. It's an extremely simple design, and she literally messed it up in every possible way. After the initial placement, I said it looked crooked and she very aggressively told me that it looked good there since skin moves. I should have left at that moment. The girl who did it (Hispanic, face tattoos) seemed extremely rushed and like she wanted to go home and did the tattoo in less than 10 minutes. Now I have this on my arm! I have had several people point it out just to mention that it's poorly done. The line work is atrocious. I talked to either the owner or the manager after it was done and they told me it's "not a printer" when I mentioned that one of the dashed lines has 4 dashes, one has 3 that are uneven, another has 3, and the last one has one. He said they would show once they healed but that was an outright lie. DO NOT GO HERE!! Read Less

Got a tattoo last Sunday with my sister (she didn't want to be the only getting one, as it was her first tattoo) Just an FYI to anyone that works here or is thinking about getting a tattoo done here, it is actually against the law to wrap a tattoo in plastic wrap when it is done. They have a role big enough to stretch across the world twice which means they are cheap, unsanitary, and take the easy way out.Oh and they don't understand cross contamination. They passed that same big role of plastic wrap (without washing hands or wearing gloves) to three different tattoo sessions. Needless to say my tattoo got infected, and I can not express how upset I am I didn't just ask my sister wait to get her first tattoo at  my normal tattoo artist's shop. Luckily it isn't a bad infection, but it is infected.If you want a good quality tattoo that has almost zero chance of getting infected, where the artist isn't smoking weed right outside, and they dont take any cheap short cuts at your expense, I would not recommend this cheap ass place. This isn't my usual go to tattoo spot but I had a friend visiting in town and wasn't sure what our schedule was so I love that this place has such extended hours and walk ins are welcome. My friend and I wanted some simple linework matching tattoos and Oscar and  Cupa got to us so fast (was around 930pm on a Monday), got our sketch done and tattooed us before we knew it ! They were both very professional and nice, so far it's only been a day but my tattoo already looks amazing. Walked in on May 30 around 4:45 pm. Was greeted by Chris and was told he had a client but he could be of service to me in 30 minutes. Sure enough, I was in his station within 30 minutes.This was my first tattoo, a birthday gift to myself.Bottom line, the experience was as I expected based on the excellent reviews this parlor received. Went in and showed them what I wanted, they were very cool, printed it out, drew it up and within 30 mins I was in the chair. Walked in on a spur of the moment with a friend, I should have known better.. My friends talked me into getting my tattoo done here instead of my normal place. How can anyone mess up on a tiny heart, right??? Well, not only did I get a horrible tattoo, the tattoo artist had a bad attitude. My friend and I went to HB just for a tattoo, we visited 3 shops and third time happened to be the charm. When we called on the phone before showing up, answer was a bit unprofessional. but decided we have them a try anyway. Mike was the first one we talked to when we got there and was very nice and helpful. My friend and I got different artists, and I got Ben. At first I thought he was ok, he took the idea I wanted for a tattoo and created a stencil, he even talked to me abo...ut fixing my old tattoo. But when i was presented with his idea of the tattoo I wanted, and I tried to give my oppinion of it, he didn't like it. After a while we both started to get frustrated and I begain to argue with him. He flipped out. He spoke in a way that I felt no man should ever talk to a woman, let alone a customer. I almost walked out right then. I would rather not get a tattoo then to get one that I never wanted. My belief is it's going to be in my body I should like it. And I believe an artist should respect that. The owner of the shop happened to be there when this took place and interfered. Happily sending someone else to deal with my neurotic personality. That's when Mike pulled up a chair and worked with me. Not only did give me a new tattoo, but he fixed my old one as well, and he gave them definition. He accepted my difficult personality with ease, and even lighten my dark mood. I walked out very happy with his work and what I got for what I paid. I wanted very basic tattoos, so not many would look at them and be astounded. But I know i would have Mike tattoo me again. But I would avoid Ben at all cost.
