No long wait, there was a guy sterilizing the place which made me feel very confident in their cleanliness. I went in with my sister to get her belly button pierced and after seeing Kreston pierce her I decided to get a double helix piercing done. He is the only piercer at Fats and for good reason, he's great at what he does. Very professional and thorough with placement and procedure. I will not be going back here and I will not be recommending it to anyone I know, I had a tattoo done on the 24th for my birthday, it was supposed to be a picture from the book the giving tree that had a quote with it... The tree itself looks like a lamp and a giant green blob, there's so much confusing shading going on and no details in the leafs and the tree trunk has no details in it either... Not only does the whole entire tree look bad but the lettering in the quote is horrible... There's so many letters that are chunky and darkened... And then there's some that looks like he payed no attention to.... Not only are the letters chunky and some aren't but there is a letter that is BACKWARDS!!! He also didn't let me get up and check out my work he just semi cleaned my arm and wrapped it.... I had ink all over my arm afterwards....Not only an I now stuck with this forever but now I'm going to have to pay to get this whole tatt replaced or fixed because I do not want to go to this shop again... This tattoo is supposed to represent my son and I'm so embarrassed by it.... As should you guys!!!! Got my tongue pierced here and I have to say it was a great experience. Piercings are done by Kreston -- I've provided a picture of his business card, as well as my tongue the same night I got the piercing. The procedure didn't hurt as much as I originally thought it would. Yeah, you're having a hollow needle stab through and take out a piece of your tongue, but my piercer was so swift it was over before I knew it! It's been about four days now and I'd say the worst part about the healing process is over. Kreston is very informative, super cool, funny, and one of the best piercers I could recommend. Got my tattoo from some dude with braids . Line work is very squiggly and my moon is uneven . the shading in my cat is just awkward looking.. I went into Fats Tattoo because the little ball at the end of my Daith piercing had come off so this place put it back on. The piercer was kind and knowledgeable. I got a full sleeve tattoo from Shawn about two months ago. The tattoo was pre paid and he had not completed the work but he kicked me out of the chair at 11 because that's when they closed" after lounding about 5 beers". He told me to come back in a couple of weeks when I had healed up a little and he would finish the work. I called and text him multiple times and called the shop trying to set up a time to finish it, eventually I drove the hour plus drive from ft irwin to go to the shop. When I got there CJ told me that Shawn no longer worked there and that no one at the shop could help me because I had pre paid. I don't know how much sense that makes.... can't do the work because I paid for it..... anyways very shady situation I feel like I've been robbed and I'm stuck with a very incomplete tattoo that cost an arm and a leg.  I do not recommend this shop for big work or anything you can't get finished that day, they will not take care of you at a later date.... I got tattoos from here when mike worked there. Mike was awesome. I sent many people to get tattooed by him. Then a year went by and my partner wanted a small tattoo and of course I relied on fatts for such a small piece. When I walked in I was created by a dirty man who smelled of booze. I asked for mike and a girl said he doesn't work here anymore. Which is fine. However the dirty artist was very rude and had terrible attitude.
