I had just turned 16 on the 5th & I went and got my belly button done. Their waiting room was super cool and calming. He was not only super nice, but he was thorough job and was quick! He made sure to let me know what was happening and when. He made sure to cover all the bases of cleaning and keeping up on the peircing. Overall-GREAT JOB. It was 50$ for the peircing. And I also bought 2 plugs(both for 10$) and another ring to switch it out when the time comes($20). I had a great experience with Paul. Very friendly, respectful, and humble guy. It started off with me sending him my ideas and him giving me his input and suggestions. Then I scheduled an appointment with his assistant who gave great customer service. Finally I met up with Paul to get my piece and we again discussed ideas and suggestions. He actually gave me really good advice which made me think "yeah, this guy knows what he's doing/knows what he's talking about". I came in to have my moms writing written on my arm. Wanted it to be in her penmanship so exactly how it looked on my birthday card. She passed away so the birthday card personnel hand writing is all I had left. Showed him it and he traced it perfectly! I got my first tattoo ever yesterday afternoon. My artist is Jen and she is AMAZING! She's hilarious and she was super open/attentive when listening to what I wanted my tattoo to symbolize. She made sure that the art told my story and was perfect in every way. Something else that stood out to me is that these artists are VERY clean and sanitation is a huge priority in this shop. I went in a year ago for a thigh tattoo from Paul at Simms Ink Hayward and I fell in love with his work.  Absolutely fantastic and I completely trust him to do future work I mean cuz shortly after a 3 session thigh piece we planned an entire leg sleeve! His drawings are amazing and I completely trusted him to freehand draw my sleeve and I've been getting tattooed by him for the past year with pretty consecutive sessions, leg sleeve is still a work in progress but already plotting more pieces to be done by this guy!
