April Hernandez is an amazing piercer. We came in for earlobe piercing. She went through every step of the process with my 7 year old (who asked a LOT of questions) and made her feel comfortable. She wasn't happy with the placeholder dots until they were absolutely perfect. Then after she finished, she checked the front and the back to make sure they were absolutely straight and even. I made the biggest mistake going to this place. I live in Chicago and while on vacation I visited Rich Custom Tattoo. First, he rescheduled the first appointment and given I was on vacation, it was an inconvenience and did not have time to return several days later for questions. When I returned to Chicago I realized something was wrong. I visited several experienced artiste and all coincided that the "artist" who did the tattoos, a dragon on my right shoulder and a half moon on the left shoulder, had used too much force and ink. They said he forced too much ink an it was a reaction and too much scar. The ink did not attached, so the skin is clear. I returned a couple of weeks ago and visited him. He gave me an appointment and when I got to the shop there was a sign sating it had been a family emergency. I understand the circumstances, but at least a phone call to make me aware and avoid the trip was the least Rich could have done. I will think twice before going back to this place or recommend him to someone. I learned my lesson in a bad way. Read Less

The shop itself is pretty clean and everything seemed to be handled in a sanitary manner. The piercings are pretty inexpensive in comparison to other shops, so I would definitely come back! I got my rook pierced by an apprentice operating out of the shop and had a relatively good experience. It looks nice and I'm really happy with it:) Read Less

Small little shop you would drive by it if you didn't know it exhausted. Came in for a small water color piece and was expecting an outrageous number but didn't get one. I believe the guys name was Doug is the one who took care of me. The only reason I give 4:5 stars was it wasn't like a normal fill out this paper scan your id this is the price etc it was yah I can do that draw it up lalalala oh this is the price. Don't get me wrong I was expecting 120$ and up and it was half. So best thing. I can see it being trouble for others but I didn't care. He was sure to show me all needles are new and sealed, everything was sanitized, gloves always changing. He was good company and had a great sense of humor. Read Less

This was my first time there. I was with my daughters and their friends as a walk in. They are so patient and work with you on the design. Our designs came out perfect. Doug is AMAZING! I've gotten 2 dermal implants and a septum piercing by him. The septum has not hurt since the moment he put it in! I'm amazed! I found this place on yelp like the majority of everyone nowadays because I was looking for a female artist to do my coverup since I realized none of my tattoos have been done by a female artist & I figured why not. I've got to say out of the four tattoos I do have this one has to be my overall favorite experience! Kaycie was great! The overall vibe of the shop was a calm one, she has such a light touch I barely felt anything (of course my tolerance may be a little better after three tattoos) and the price was very fair! My friend wanted a small single tattoo and we Yelped around LA for a place. There were so many tattoo places with 5-star average ratings in LA but none had availability for a walk in. Mind you, my friend was looking for a small tattoo which probably would take 30-45 minutes tops. We called Rich Custom Tattoo in Glendale (borderline Burbank) and they were available for walk-ins. It was a bit tough finding parking but street parking was available. As with any tattoo parlors, you feel a little nervous walking in but based on their 5-star average, my friend was excited. We walked in and spoke with Brad. Super cool dude who gave my friend a run down on what was needed (it was her first tattoo). 10 minutes later she was in the hot seat getting her first tat (she already knew what she wanted and had in mind). After about 30-40 minutes, her tattoo was done. Brad was awesome, super nice, easy going and never pressured us (or my friend) in getting a tattoo. He also did a great job. Easy peasy! If you're looking for shop with great artists and great vibes then look no further. My experience here this past weekend was so so great! What was so fantastic about this place was that the artists there, specifically Kaycie and Bruce who were the artists that tattooed my mom and I, were so patient and friendly. Bruce was the one that tattooed me and he was super patient with me and let me play around with multiple fonts and placements for my tattoo and he had such a great attitude. I've been to other shops where it felt more like a business than an actual experience so working with Bruce and Kaycie was awesome!And the actual tattoo Bruce did was so clean and even better than how I imagined it and I'm so happy with how it turned out!I've already recommended this shop to all my friends who are looking to get a tattoo and I honestly cannot rave about this place enough. Claudia, you're wonderful.My girls and I stopped by on our LUNCH BREAK on Friday the 13th to get piercings, and we were all 3 impressed by Claudia.  She has a fantastic and sweet personality! She really took her time with each one of us to make sure that we got exactly what we were looking for, and was very helpful with aftercare and making us comfortable during and after the piercings. Plus, girl has a sense of humor! haha. In case anyone is keeping track, I got my daith pierced, and the two girls I were with got their noses pierced.The next time I want something done, I will definitely be back. I came here today and was wowed by the service I received from the shop! It began with Rich returning my voice message and stating he could book me same day! The atmosphere was so chill and the employees are so welcoming! I wanted a specific tattoo and brought in my design.. Rich made the tattoo look exactly how I wanted it and just as the picture looked. Rich did my tattoo almost a week ago for me while I was in California visiting my daughter. I the work Rich had done when searching for a tattoo artist, so I immediately contacted him through e-mail & he quickly replied back to me regarding my request which was very impressive to me!!! I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer, I had went through chemo, radiation & several surgeries that had left me some ugly scares. In the e-mail to Rich, I explained to him what I wanted ...to accomplish by getting a tattoo to cover up my battle scares as I would call them. He said he would love to be a part of it in helping me out so I could move on with my life beyond cancer reminders every day.
