I live in palo alto and I can honestly tell you. I dont mind driving 50 minutes to go get amazing art work from Ariel Cruz. The tattoo shop is easy to find with easy accessible parking and I love the cleanliness inside of the shop. Went on Friday and got a tattoo from Tim. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and  told him to make it his own. And wtf dude he made it 1,000 times better. I love it even more! He really took his time. the best part about my whole experience was he wasn't heavy handed and I felt no pain! It was awesome thank you time for my tattoo I love it. Ariel is amazing. I went to him after having a lot of bad experiences with other tattoo artists who belittled me and made me feel horrible about a tattoo that I wanted in memory of a past loved one. I had went to three shops before I found Ariel and I walked around with a line literally just line for a year because I was so scared from a really bad experience from a shop in San Jose where I actually had passed out and was made fun of. Ariel was a breath of fresh air. He was open to my ideas. He was kind and attentive and I got through a whole back piece with no problems. If it wasn't for him I would have never gotten tatted again and I would still be walking around with an awful line on my back. Ariel is an amazing artist. I went to him on recommendation of my brother who is fully sleeved with some amazing work from Ariel.I was very nervous because I had went to three shops before Ariel and all were horrible experiences. The artists belittled me and my ideas and it hurt me deeply because my back piece was meant for my oldest brother who passed away.   I finally had settled on a place in San Jose who equally treated me horribly because I figured that was just how tatoo artists we're and I ended up passing out at that shop and not only did they make fun of me but I was out of $500 and had to walk around with a line (literally a line) for a year before I found Ariel.ARIEL IS AMAZING. My experience was nothing like what I had experienced before. He was open to my ideas, gave me an amazing back piece, kept checking on me to see if I was ok and the little details he added made my piece look like a painting. I absolutely love it and if it wasn't for him I would still be walking around with a stupid line on my back and a heart full of pain, as well as hatred for tattoo artists.  Ariel, I can't thank you enough for the amazing tattoo you gave me and the care you took. I just walked in to "see" what they would charge for a small tattoo on my wrist and they quoted me a price I could live with! I did it!!! I'm sooo glad I did!!! I've had plenty of tattoo artists for the past 10 years, and I have to say that this is one of the cleanest, most professional shops I've ever been to. First of all, there's nothing worse than walking into a shop full of artists that have major attitude, and act like every question you ask makes you a moron. Luckily, THIS shop is literally staffed with the nicest, most humble artists, who are totally patient with your visions and actually care what you want. Tim is relatively new, but has become my go-to artist from now on. He's super nice, easy going, and   it totally doesn't hurt that he's cute, too. I had him do two pieces covering my arm, dedicated to my mom and dog that passed away. He treated it with so much respect, and let me fuss over details, he sat with me and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I got to ask as many questions as I needed, and the outcome is beyond perfect. Im so happy, I already have gotten 3 more pieces from Tim. Honestly, everyone there is crazy talented. It is worth the trip from San Jose to Gilroy to get my ink done from the very best at Cruz Creations.
