Came here just to get a dermal anchor taken out since I snagged it and it was sticking out anyway. I was charged for the removal, which I've never had another shop do. Also, the piercer threw away the anchor and jewelry without asking me if I wanted it first, which I did. I could've kept the jewelry on top and re-used it for my other dermal piercings. When I asked at the end if I could have it, all the piercer could say was "oh I threw it away already, it had a lot of buildup" and kept mentioning buildup, which I could've easily cleaned off of it. Basically, they threw away jewelry I had previously paid for without asking me if I wanted it, throwing $35 of my money in the trash because it "had buildup." Other shops ask you if you want to keep it before just tossing it. I'm annoyed to say the least. Read Less

I was not happy with my initial industrial piercing, so I came to get a second opinion with Juanita (I did my research this time). She is awesome! She was patient and thorough in answering my questions regarding the process and aftercare, eliminating any gibberish I had read online. Only place in So Cal that I will ever go to get tattoos/piercings. Juanita is one of the best piercing artists I've ever met. She takes her work very seriously and doesn't joke about it. It may throw some people off, but what do you expect from someone who is putting needles through your body. I've had my daith and punched industrial piercings done by her with no complications and healed perfectly. She also nursed my nostril piercing back to normal after changed my low quality jewelry to high quality. She knows how to work with people when they respect her, which I appreciate. I wouldn't dare go to anyone else who does not take their job as seriously. My fiance had two tattoos done by Issac and Rob and both came out great with no complications. Got my first nose and helix piercing here. Juanita was very nice and responsive and her shop was clean and professional. However, after two months my piercings were not getting any better. I went to another piercer yesterday (closer to where I live) to show him and ended up taking both out. My nose piercing had grown a red bump and was constantly bleeding, and my helix was always in pain. He informed me that the nose ring used was not the right jewelry (he said it was illegal to use that black piece), the coating was leeching into my skin and my nose was reacting to it. I took a picture to show there is a slight discoloration which shows the color fading off. As for my helix, the angle was not right and the piece was digging into my ear causing scarring (inside my ear). There was also a bump forming. If he changed out the piece then, he said it wouldn't sit well due to the angle. So now I am out of my piercings, and after the time and money and pain, have to wait to heal and then think about doing it again. I am pretty disappointed because I was super excited about my first time and had trusted Juanita to give me great results, especially because she knows her stuff. Feeling bummed on one hand, and kind of relieved on the other to not have to deal with the pain and bleeding anymore. Read Less

With the help of the amazing Issac this opinion has completely changed! This artist is so awesome. My dad and I love this shop and it will always be our go to! I have gotten tattooed by Isaac twice and pierced by Juanita once. Both of which are professional and have very open personalities. They always want their customers to be the happiest and you can tell by the great customer service. Their shop also has a great atmosphere!Isaac is so creative when it comes to his work. He took both tattoos I wanted and added his own twist to them and gave me exactly what I wanted and more!! He is truly talented! During both tattoos he would always ask if I needed breaks and if I was doing okay. Tattoos are painful and Isaac made sure I was as comfortable as I could be! Juanita is so funny and down to earth! If you are thinking about going to this shop don't. They are the most unprofessional shop ever, called me a whale and fucking fat. I found them on Instagram and liked their work in July and set an appointment for August before I went to college. As the day approached I tried to go to the shops page so I could get the number to call and confirm. I was blocked. I got found the number on Yelp and called and private messaged the owner and he gave me the excuse of oh we block people with over 10k followers on Instagram. So I said ok if you don't support me and respect me I will take my business else where. Fast forward to today a guy that I was interested in at that shop moved shops and I posted a pic of the design he was going to do on me. The shops Instagram proceeded to bully him and I spoke out about the bullying. In response they commented back and proceeded to call me a "whale" and "fucking fat" after I had referred clients to them. Have a look at the screen shots of this Update since this has happened I have been harrased by the manager: stating that I started it so I deserve to be insulted on my own page. Just came into the shop today to get my navel pierced. I called beforehand and they were able to take me right away. Walked in and shop was super clean and everything seemed to be in good order.Juanita knows exactly what she's doing! She walked me through the entire process and answered all the questions I had. She made it an awesome experience - quick and painless. But also made sure that I liked it. We discussed aftercare and she had me take a photo of directions just so I could reference anytime. I came here to get pierced two days ago and I am very happy with the outcome. As I first walked in, I was assisted and given paperwork to fill out. I had to wait a bit for the piercer to come but it wasn't long until she showed up and set everything up very quickly. I was nervous at first but Juanita's open personality made me feel much more comfortable and at ease. As she prepped me up for my piercings, she made sure they were aligned properly and made sure I was happy with the placement. She took her time to explain the aftercare of my new babies and told me to hit her up if I ever had questions. My piercings are healing up fine and no complications have occurred.
