If you're a young girl I would highly advise not coming to this shop. The artists there use no discretion when they check you out and even are confident enough to make comments. My best friend and I saw Chef Adam regularly throughout the course of 3 months. On our final trip to the shop my best friend had an appointment to get a back piece done by him. He free handed a stencil for her and showed it to her. She looked at it and asked him if he could tweak a few things, he threw next to a fit. While we were there, i asked him if he could cover up a Friday the 13th tattoo he did for me. He said he would and that he's glad i came to him to do it. He then told me he would be fucking pissed if i went to someone else for the cover up. He absolutely cannot accept criticism without becoming hostilely defensive. He wanted her to see it on her skin so he put the stencil on her. She looked at it and sat down with me, she quietly expressed to me that she felt terrified of him. I too was worried on how he would continue to behave the rest of the time. She told me she didn't want to get it done and so we came up with multiple plans on how to leave. We came back to him and she said she was feeling sick which she was, she was practically shaking. He started yelling at us that he spent so much time on this stencil and that he hoped we didn't come here and waste his time to now not get the tattoo. She said she would pay for the stencil and not get it done. He continued to get upset and she felt so cornered that she sat down and got the tattoo done. He bullied her into getting the tattoo. As expected, it turned out horrible and like nothing what she wanted. This tattoo has become extra work for another artist to fix and make into something that's worthy of showing off. I absolutely love this shop. Ashley was working the front desk, and even on a busy day Friday the 13th was super polite and helpful to get me in. I was able to get to sit with an artist Squidy who did a key on my wrist. Line work was on point. This by far was one of the most cleanest shops I've been in by far, especially being on such a busy day. All the staff was very professional to all the customers coming in, being in the service industry I really notice those types of things. *Don't waste your money here!!* Unless you want a permanent reminder of the crappy experience you'll get from this shop. STORYTIME: So a year ago, my best friend & I got tattoos for the first time here. Spontaneously, of course. We both wanted something small & dainty. I decided on three little birds on my ribs. Shawn Thomas did my tattoo, which turned out good. I mean it wasn't much, it's a simple tattoo you could print from the internet & all you had to do was just fill it in. He said I could go in for a free touch up the next month, but honestly I refused to come back after this shop (excuse my language) straight fucked up my best friend's wrist LOL. Yes, I'm speaking on behalf of my best friend because this was supposed to be both our special experience together. I can't remember her artist's name; I just remember he had a beard & looked like he knew what he was doing. Umm...apparently not?? My girl asked on a SMALL OUTLINE OF A  CRESCENT MOON  on her wrist. Even showed him a picture (look at the pic I attached). Nothing more than a size of a dime. Keep in mind, this is her first tattoo- she was expecting this guy to be able to do some basic line work. Apparently, he was doing fine at first. But when he tatted the moon- it ended up looking like a horseshoe. Next thing you know, he trying to fix it- this dude had purple pen all over the wrist (I should've taken a picture, it was SO messy) because he couldn't draw a damn moon properly. Then he started filling in the moon. Just.....WHY. I never thought I would ever see a tattoo nightmare before my eyes; she ended up with a scary-looking giant CROISSANT on her wrist. I was wondering why she paid for the whole thing at the end, but she said she was in so much shock she didn't know what to do. She thought that if the purple pen washed off, it would look different. She was going to go in for a refund, but she never got to due to her busy schedule. Instead, she said it's better for me to warn everyone about this so it doesn't happen again. But look at my pictures, y'all. Don't waste your money here. You're better off going to Engineerink- everyone's a professional & will never make you leave with an experience my best friend and I did. I was going to write this review a year ago, but I think I lagged on it because we couldn't remember her artist's name. I'll tell you now, my best friend has gotten interesting comments like "Your artist must have been on some shit when he did that to you." Now she's been saving up to get it removed (who knew she would have to go through this). So that's my cup of tea (haha). Moral of the story: Make sure you do your research on any tattoo artist before trusting them. Best tattoo parlor I've been in.. ask for Shawn Thomas. This guy is insane. His neo traditional blows my mind. And his color blending.and.ckntrasting is something that should be filmed literally had a color pallet that looked like a giant Crayola box of colors for a small peice on my hand. He is light handed and extremely.creative and works with you. The attention to detail and the fast amount of time scared me. I was shocked to.fjnd an artist that wasn't.taking breaks wasn't going over and over and digging my hand.. this guy got it done one try. And it's been weeks since it healed and.its.perfect... Horrible customer service and even speaking with the manager Sean who didn't seem to care about my issue. I went in for a Friday the 13th flash tattoo and apparently they don't guarantee their work his response was "those tattoos are meant to be quick" he didn't have any solutions other than it must be the way I took care of it which is a joke because I have a full sleeve on one arm, half a sleeve on the other and several other tattoos on my chest and those were all taken care of the same way as some small flash tat. This shops YELP sincerely doesn't reflect the experiences i have had. I've been going here for years and have grown to feel like family. Love my homies and have beautiful tattoos from multiple artists at this shop. Ian just finished a black and gray portrait of my badass cat. So glad the placement was on the top of my arm so i can stare at it. Ian is definitely a inspired artist. He's done lots of color on me but he shines with black and gray portraits. Zero stars should be an option. Absolute worst place to get tattoos. I've been to a couple different tattoo shops where I have felt comfortable and have received the best customer service, and this place does the absolute opposite. Extremely unprofessional and the person who did my last tattoo has now lost a new client, me, for not showing a willing attitude to fix his poor line work. I have asked for an appointment for the free touchup he promised and seems unwilling to give me one, he goes by the name of Chef. Fortunately, the good thing that came from my past experiences with Bleeding Beauty was that I met a tattoo artist who no longer works there but would do a great job, he used to do my tattoos when he worked there and did two of my favorite tattoos there, and I would recommend him to anyone! Worst tattoo shop I have ever been too! You would be better off getting a tattoo at someone's garage than at Craig Addams shop. Most unprofessional experience ever. Besides rescheduling numerous of times when he did finally show up for appointment, he was 3hrs late. It keeps getting worse! I went in for a Carlos Torres Tattoo and I got a Carlos Torres cover up instead. It gets even worse! Craig Addams is the one who did my tattoo and he is actually the owner of the shop! This shop is cheap. And you're definitely paying for what you're getting. They are the least sanitary tattoo shop I've ever been to and their work is very sub par. If that's not bad enough: The owner and head artist tattooed me about 2 years ago, i brought in my own drawing from a portfolio I had done. It was a mandala that I had spent hours on and he did it line for line. TWO YEARS later he kept my stencil and with out permission has been using my artwork and permanently tattooing it on others calling it his own design. This is disrespectful, shameful, and pathetic. This shop lacks respect for art and the artist, is a disgrace to the industry, and falsely claims credit for work that is not theirs. If I could give 0 stars I would. It's also highly pathetic this same artist feels the need to write his own 5 star reviews for this shop to defensively come back at a negative review. The best experience ever!!! Chef helped me with all my questions I had and helped me place my tattoo he also gave me a lot of help with the design I wanted. The experience was great! He really helped bring the meaning I wanted behind my tattoo. The shop has a really great vibe and it definitely made the entire experience better! This review goes out to Ian. Dude got down on my chest piece. I went in with a few pictures of owls and what I thought I wanted but he ended up putting something together for me before arriving to my appointment. I was blown away with what he had put together! He is a very patient open minded and just a cool tattoo artist. That's really hard to find these days especially someone that takes there time and pride in there work! This post is in regards to Anthony s review of me and his tattoo I completely fixed for him cause it was so horribly done by someone else he's saying that I'm not a licensed tattoo artist and I am licensed in the state of California in orange county and I also own bleeding beauty tattoo so he has no idea of what he is talking about and what he is complaining about with the lines in the hands of his tattoo I didn't do the previous artist dud them and I told him I would have to cover or completely darken or change them in some type of way to get rid of them and it was his desicion to keep them how they were and after a whole year he wants to leave a bad review about me making up lies cause  I refuse to tattoo him anymore because he is a horrible client. This tattoo shop is nothing but professional with amazing artist and a great atmosphere! It is in a really awesome spot too, with a lot of good places to eat or shop while you wait to get tattooed in down town fullerton!! The owner Craig Adams is really sweet as well is in my opinion the best artist in Orange County with the lightest hand I've ever gotten tattooed by witch is a plus! This review comes after 1 full and entire year from the date I received the Tattoo. I'm calling out Craig Adams who gave me a Tattoo early last year and made some mistakes on my right arm. One of the mistakes resulted in him drawing a line through the knuckles of where the character left hand is, complete error of going over, the second mistake is him drawing jail bars over the character right hand, again a complete error of going over. So in the tattoo I will have for life, BOTH hands he mistakenly drew over and I have been embarrassed about it the entire time. I don't even wear short sleeve shirts due to this mistake on my arms. I have also tried to reach out to other artists to fix this mistake and no reputable artist wants to handcuff themselves to this problem, therefore I have been STUCK with this. Here is where it gets interesting.... I have attempted to contact Craig numerous times to fix this and he has completely led me on. For over 8 months I have tried reaching out to him, with ALL messages saved and screenshot as proof, message after message and no care or concern for what he did. I am warning EVERYONE DO NOT GET YOUR WORK DONE BY CRAIG ADAMS. I'm posting this review as my first attempt, then I will continue to research other ways I can let others know about my experience with Craig Adams . It is a misdemeanor to tattoo someone without a license in the State of California, so I am assuming OSHA would like to hear about the negligence I have received. I'm sure Craig is licensed and the Health Department would like to know about licensed people who inflict medical error on someones body without rectifying the matter.  This is not my style to blast people, but something as important as my body, to screw it up and ignore the fact, that's insanity and this MUST get rectified. Since Bleeding Beauty is the one he represents, if someone other than Craig wants to correct this mistake, I am open ears and will remove this posting and will not report this to OSHA. He is very particular about the shops he works in, I have always trusted his judgment and never once have I been disappointed.
