I would give this place 1 star if I could! I got a finger tattoo two weeks ago and it's already gone! I came in for a touch up and the guys behind the desk tried to tell me that finger tatts normally fade that fast. Really?! Don't come to this place I  got my belly piercing here and honestly they didn't place it correctly where I had asked the lady to do it and it's pretty pricey... it has rejected and I was told I can come in after two months after healing time to get it done for free. Went to this place on a whim for a rook piercing and although the piercer was polite and sweet I still had a terrible experience. She didn't clean the area, didn't mark where she was piercing and I think her long nails got in the way which made it even more painful. She pierced my ear and then for some reason took the needle out and proceeded to try to shove the jewelry through my ear which took a few minutes and was extremely painful. After I looked in the mirror she tried to reassure me by saying that she pierced it there on purpose but she was just making excuses because she knew that's not what I asked for. Like if you put it there on purpose shouldn't you ask me first?? Now I'm out $50 and have a piercing in the completely wrong spot and I can't even take it out myself because she also put in too short of a bar and it's swollen and gross. I went in last year and worked with Tamara. She was doing a whole Disney piece on my thigh we did multiple sessions of outlines. After the first color session I never went back. I stayed maybe an hour. She scarred one of the characters from the way she was tattooing probably cause she was drunk as i noticed the beer she was drinking hidden behind her work station. I have now paid about 3k in work having her mistakes fixed. None of her lines were even. Some super light and barely there while some were super dark. She added lots of lines that shouldnt be there based on the pictures she used off goggle. She also had alot of missing lines. My tattoo is looking better now. Regret all the money I spent with her. Would never go back to a shop that would allow someone like her to screwed people like that. Read Less

I have been coming to this tattoo parlor for the past eight years Jill ( @syrentattoo) has done 95% of all the work on my body I trust nobody else but Jill throughout the past years we become very close, She now tattoos my mother, father, sister and other family members, and friends. She's been in the industry for a very long time and knows exactly what she's talking about when it comes to layering the art correctly, Color placement, and spacing. Jill's work speaks for itself. Good work isn't cheap, and cheap work isn't good. For somebody who is experienced and skilled artist as she is I believe her pricing is completely on point to her work. Being an independent business myself I understand the work you put in and it's outcome. Jill is always willing to work schedule wise and will do whatever she can to accommodate. She has great conversation and is  hilarious, there are no awkward lulls or silent periods, she does a lot to keep the shop running and I respect her so much for all of her hard work, late nights, and beautiful art. She not only is a tattoo artist but is also a jewelry artist, a painter, and much more. An independent woman and a beautiful individual I could not be more proud to say I know her and to know that I am a walking billboard for her beautiful designs. Her work is always clean and the colors are very vibrant even after years of fading everything is just as bright as it was on day one. Would highly recommend getting tattooed by Jill. The area the shop is located is convenient and right in the center of downtown Fullerton, parking is never difficult. I can't even begin to express how much I love getting my ink here. Jill is amazing and if you want to know just why, read on:I'd only ever had 1 small tattoo before this, and after getting the itch to get another, I decided to start looking around for artists. Jill has so many good reviews (and for good reason) so I stopped by the shop for a consultation. I showed her examples of what I wanted, but it was basically a mix of various pictures that would have to be custom designed. She asked me to email her the pics and she'd try to make my vision a reality. A few days later (super surprised how quickly she drew it out) she emailed me what she'd been working on, and I fell in love instantly. She's an incredible artist, and I was amazed at how well she took the material I gave her and what I told her verbally to come up with the design. From there we set up the appointment and I went in to get inked within a week.Jill was really nice as she showed me what she came up with in person. From there we decided on the placement, and I quickly found out one of the best things about Jill: she's super blunt and candid about what works and what doesn't work for a tattoo. She told me why the place I originally wanted wouldn't work and we ended up settling up on a place together. For the tattooing itself, Jill works quickly and effectively, and she has a light touch which means the area doesn't feel like a punching bag afterwards. She's also a great conversationalist so the time passes by pretty quickly. The price was perfectly reasonable and she was up front about it so you aren't surprised at the end. You also get 30 days afterwards to come in for a free touch up (only the first touch up).I emailed Jill 2 weeks later about coming in for her to take a look at how it was healing and see if I needed to get it touched up. Since I felt the itch to get another tattoo already, I also sent her some reference pics and asked if she could come up with a design for me. When I went in yesterday, I was reminded just how much I love Jill. She told me straight up that what I wanted would have to be way bigger than I had asked in order to actually look good and be detailed. I talked to her about turning the tat she did a couple weeks ago into a half sleeve, and she instantly brainstormed ideas with me. We looked up some designs together and she free hand designed the custom parts right then and there. She gave the price up front again so I wasn't caught unawares, and from there I got in the chair and got it done. I'm going to be coming back to her every few weeks to continue the half sleeve until I finish it because she is that good.Honestly, if you're looking for a quality tattoo artist who won't bs you, is up front about everything, is knowledgeable, and will work with you to make your vision a reality, you can't ask for better than Jill. I was here over a year ago and got a lotus flower done to cover-up existing work and I liked of what I saw but since of couple months after calling and emailing Brandon L. received one response of a photo to see the post care to see if I needed a touch-up and no response after a couple attempts previously. I come in within the last month to call back again since I found the lost number and the response has been the same. I still can see parts of my old tattoo showing and has been a hassle to follow up on the artist promise to fix the work since this was a $400 cover-up job plus tip. Now I will seek another artist to fix of what Brandon failed to promise and will go to another artist since his work is more professional and seems reliable. I don't dispute that I wanted a lotus flower tattoo but I didn't get the touch-up as promised. Bad move to burn a customer. Read Less

I've been trying to get in contact with a few tattoo parlors in Fullerton to get a butterfly tattoo to finish up my nature half sleeve, and I hadn't have much luck getting in contact with some people regarding it via Instagram and the one shop I actually went to, their apprentice was the only was in the shop and he talked down to me and didn't make me feel very welcome. I had been to All Hallows a couple years ago on a Friday the 13th and got a flash tattoo, but I hadn't been back since. I went in with a set price that was the max I was willing to spend for the piece, and low and behold Tamara saw what I wanted and gave me the right quote. So I stopped in and got it done. I did have to wait a bit because there were a group of women that took forever to get their tattoos done, but I had my phone so I was able to keep myself entertained. The blue I chose for the butterfly was very light, so Tamara said to come back once it was healed to get it touched up so that it's a bit more vibrant. Can't wait for April 13th, because it's another day of Flash Tattoos...one could say i'm addicted.Also, on another note, I'm hoping to stop in to get my belly button pierced so we'll see how that goes. I got this done last minute by Jill. I came very late. I was shakey because i had 2 monsters and i was alittle scared. I flinched every .2 seconds but Jill was very patient. She didnt hurt at all. Other artists would have given up on me with how much i whined and moved but she didnt. I even told her she could give up and i wouldnt blame her. She did this tattoo in an hour and a half. She was amazing. The lines are so straight and im not sure how with how much i moved. I enjoyed Jill. Shes patient and veryyy light handed. Kind and sweet as well! Came in with the fiancée in November to get her a birthday tattoo. We got Brandon and was super cool at first. After the session, he told us to contact him because of the location of the tattoo( wrist ) there will probably be a touch up session. The lines on the tattoo were uneven. Some were thicker then others. It's been 2 months and we can not get a hold of him to set up an appointment. Text, called his cell, called the shop...nothing. Sucks. My daughter and I decided to get matching tattoos at this facility, because my daughter was happy with the tattoo that she had done by the owner on Friday the 13th.  We went in on 10/22/17 and the artist we got was Tamara. She was not friendly (should have been my clue to leave), but we proceeded with getting our tattoos done.  My daughter went first. My daughter was trying to make conversation with Tamara, but her responses were short and cold. I found out from my daughter later that, when I went to use the restroom, Tamara had been very rude to my daughter about the previous tattoo that my daughter had done by the owner on Friday the 13th. The owner had given my daughter a discount and Tamara was apparently irritated over that situation, so she made harsh comments about the cost and discount given, etc. That was extremely unprofessional and rude. If I had known this while I was there, I would not have left her a nice tip. She didn't deserve it at all! While I was getting my tattoo done (my first), I asked her to stop for just a moment. She stopped, then looked at me and said "okay". Then she went right back to working on the tattoo. When we were all done with the tattoos, Tamara stated "You have 30 days to come back in and I can touch up the tattoos for free". My daughter and I went back about three weeks later for the touch ups. We walked in on Saturday, 11/11/17. Tamara was there and when we asked about getting our tattoos touched up (we were willing to wait as walk-ins), she was very rude. Tamara said in a quick, short tone "I don't do touch ups on the weekends. I only take appointments during the week for touch ups."  What the heck? Why didn't she state that when she mentioned the 30 days to get a touch up? I stated that I don't live in the area and I'm not able to get to Fullerton during the week. She didn't care, she just gave us her card and said "call me and we can schedule it during the week." Apparently, she didn't understand that I was not able to schedule it during the week. I do believe that she just didn't want to do the touch ups because of the discount my daughter had received from the owner for her tattoo on 10/13/17. Tamara was determined not to help us in any way. Had such a great experience getting my rook pierced!Went in around 8:30 PM with my best friend to get our ears pierced and it was empty. I'm so happy there was no wait because we were in and out.We had time to chit chat with our piercer, Erin. He was awesome! Very friendly and easy-going which was great because I mean come on, he's piercing my body lolIt was $40 for the piercing and $8 for the after care spray thing. Wasn't so bad..However, we did call asking about pricing and also asked in person and the lady up front told us $30.. but it wasn't. So maybe all the employees should take time and learn the correct pricing for everything. Would be convenient for customers. Other than that, this place is great. He made sure I had a full understanding of what he was doing and made me feel very comfortable. Also he was very patient with my questions and answered them without hesitation. I walked into this place with a friend inquiring pricing on our tattoo ideas. The woman we spoke to was super rude and condescending. She told me my tattoo wasn't a "real tattoo" and that she wouldn't do it for me. Not what I asked for, just wanted a pricing on the design regardless of what she thought about it. She also gave a ridiculous price to my friend for a small sized tattoo and treated her like she didn't know anything about tattoos. We both walked out of there saying we would never go back. Never coming back to this place with an inquiry or to get anything done. This isn't just your typical tattoo joint, there's a barber shop in the back!My barber actually just moved to this location and I followed him here. Located at the back of the shop, you can enter through the front of the store or from the back where the parking lot is. I'm told the parking is pretty bad here on Thursdays and Fridays. So if you need to chop your mop and not worry about parking, any other day will do. Today I drove around a few times and ended up parking curbside. I guess also on Thursdays, there's a street fair one block down. Ray is my go-to barber. Always gets my cut right and does the job well. He takes credit card and cash!The shop is pretty big. They've got 8 chairs back there, but they're not all filled yet. I was told that this shop opened up back in February. There's not much advertising that the shop is there. There's a sandwich board out front on Harbor, and minimal signage in the back. But it's there! The waiting area will have beer and wine. It looked like it was still being renovated, but I could be wrong. I didn't ask. They don't have much to offer yet, like hair product, but they will soon enough, I hope. I'll have to explore a little more next time I come back for my cut. Read Less

I walked in on Wednesday, 4/12/17 with a swollen ear from a piercing that I had gotten the Sunday prior from a WELL KNOWN piercing place. Alexx showed nothing but compassion and knowledge as she replaced what had apparently been the WRONG SIZED earring that is in my ear cartilage. She suggested I purchase the proper kind of spray for the healing, as opposed to a chemically filled one the WELL KNOWN place sells. After 1 day, I can finally touch my ear without being in severe pain. To top it off, their tattoo artists are women. I have always wanted a tattoo from a woman. So #7 will be done there. I hope the manager/owner is aware of the awesome staff they have. They showed human kindness and respect. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment for fairly small tattoos and they were very accommodating. We did have to wait, which is understandable, but we locked in a spot with a small deposit that was rolled into our total cost. Unlike so many other shops, they accept Debit and credit cards with the option to add gratuity for your artist, which is amazing and convenient. Laid back and comfortable setting. Brandon man.. amazing job! Came in on Friday night with no appointment and showed Brandon exactly what I wanted to get and he drew it up right away. I loved the design but I have a short forearm and wanted it about 20-30% smaller than what he originally drew. The entire process from the sketch, pricing, and tattooing was extremely professional. Brandon was extremely easy to talk to and light handed so it didn't hurt more than any other tattoo should. I got a anchor for my brother who is in the navy and although it was simple, it is amazing. Alright, so...This place is the absolute WORST. Super unprofessional, such a bad vibe, just bad news. I went in to inquire about a tattoo. The bald Hispanic guy happened to be there and you know, me with an artistic mind I told him what I wanted. He was like "Well, I can't read your mind...you have to show me what you want or you won't get a tattoo." Like, really? He made me feel super uncomfortable with his hostile attitude.
