I've had three piercings by Valerie, and they've always been spot on. She's done my ears twice, and they were straight and perfect. I first contacted Valerie by email for a piercing that I've been interested in for a long time. The reply was fast and she answered every question I had. It seemed to me that she wasn't just trying to get me in the door to get paid either by what we talked about and all the information she gave me. She was very down to earth and gave it to me straight and its hard to find a buisness that isn't about the bs today. Before today I've never even thought about walking into a piercing shop but she made it very comfortable and homey. She even tolerated my very profound cursing when it came to the actual event. I won't give details but it wasn't an everyday ear or tongue piercing. Even she said she was surprised by the one I picked for my first piercing. I can't speak for the other artist that work there but Valerie took good care of me and I will always recommend her for anyone I know that needs a piercing. The only place in Fresno I will go from now on to get my piercings. Why? Because they know what they are doing. Valerie the person who did my nose piercing today. She was so sweet and KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING! My nose looks so cute thanks to her. This shop is super clean and everything in sterilized and cleaned...she went over everything with me on how to clean and care for my piercing and was really patient with me.But if you're planing on going someplace else ...Sure you can go someplace else for cheaper but guess what... They don't care and honestly they don't know what they are doing. I went some place else in Clovis to get my Helix done and left thinking everything was fine but it turns out when Valerie took a look at it... well she could tell it was done wrong. She told me the piercing itself was the wrong length and when I told her how they told me to clean it... IT WAS WRONG. Thanks to Valerie she is helping me with my Helix. She didn't have to but it just shows you how much she cares and how much she CARES FOR HER JOB. Just know that not everyone has your best interest at heart and are only out there for the money. About three years ago I got my a double navel piercing at another studio. The next day I realized both of the larger portions of the jewelry were inside my navel and bumping each other (hopefully that makes sense.) It was incredibly uncomfortable as the piercing was very new and thus already sore. I went to Nightwitch and they were able to fix my piercings around to where they didn't bump anymore. I left satisfied & in less pain. Fast forward to the present, I got a nose piercing done at yet another different studio. The shape of jewelry that the other studio put in would continuously fall out of my nose & after it fell out & I could not put it back in after a couple of days, I assumed it had closed because that's what the guys at the other studio told me would happen after as little as 20 minutes (false). I originally went to Nightwitch to get the other side of my nose pierced until Valerie asked me questions about my old piercing. I told her it had been out for a few days to which she told me to hold on & that she may be able to get a ring back in my existing piercing. To my surprise, she was able to get a new ring in saving me about $40 since I didn't have to get another piercing. This was a very long review, but I said all this to say that Nightwitch is amazing! I've learned my lesson & will never go anywhere else. Valerie you are so kind and very knowledgeable. You could have easily not asked me any questions, pierced my other side & made more money, but instead you took the time to know my situation & I truly appreciate it. I scheduled an appointment and arrived 10 minutes early. The shop was opened but the artist was on his way. He ended up being 50 minutes late. Honestly that should've been a sign. I was there to get my 4th tattoo {first from this shop} so I had an idea of all the expectations and after care. I bought their aftercare solution due to being so behind schedule. Every time I used it it just burned. I mean like acid. I thought maybe the forearm was more sensitive. So I applied as recommended and followed all recommendations per the owner of the shop. After about five days I stopped and used a different after care and the red lightened up. Over the next week portions of the tattoo literally fell off my arm! It was a holiday week so I waited to call the owner. Her response was that that's why they offer a free touch-up. Um.... I have three other tattoos and years later I still don't need touch-ups how could I need one two weeks later? No way. Not going back. Not referring. No way. Read Less

Val is super cool. She is very helpful and gives you all the best information. She is a little blunt but I like that about her. She's very honest as well! She did some of my piercings and they were done perfectly and have healed perfectly. She is a little pricier than most places but her shop is spotless and has a very friendly atmosphere. Claims to care about safety. Pierced my tongue through a vein and I had to seek medical care. Frankie jacked up my sisters tattoo so bad she can't even get it fixed. Valerie argued with me online because she thinks I'm from another shop trying to steal her business by leaving bad reviews. Lol her attitude will trash her business without my help. I came by to have Valerie check on my dermal anchor that I had gotten done at a different shop less than a week ago. She took one look and immediately knew it was done improperly. She was able to just pull it right out easily and painlessly. She explained to me how it was barely even in my skin and that the jewelry was the kind that no one uses anymore. I came here because they quoted me the cheapest price. I got my philtrum pierced but was done at an angle so it never healed and kept rubbing inside my lip. I eventually had to take it out 2 months later. I went to three other shops and they all looked at my lip and said the same thing. Now I'm out the $30 and whatever tip I left. Next time, I'll just pay extra to have it done right, it was a tough/painful lesson to learn. Read Less

Nightwitch is a great place to go for a tattoo, and I'm sure for a piercing as well. Although I didn't get a piercing done, I can say that Valerie was very friendly and made me and the people with me feel completely comfortable. I had two tattoos done by Frankie, and they both looked excellent and didn't hurt. Although they were very small and words, looking at the work in his book and the work that I saw before me, he's a great artist for any type of tattoo. I definitely plan on going back there for future tattoos.The environment is so comfortable. The waiting room is like a living room, and the shop is not intimidating whatsoever. When it came to actually having my tattoos done, they were really great about making sure I was comfortable and that everything looked right. What's great about Frankie and Valerie is that they will tell it how it is, which is important when it comes to permanent or semi-permanent additions to your body. They aren't afraid to tell you if something is dangerous, difficult, or just plan ugly in theory.The pricing is really unmatched.
