Earlier this year I reached out to Chanelle for a small sternum piece. She responded right away, and the booking and actual appointment went smoothly. I absolutely loved the piece, but I did notice part of it to be crooked. I emailed her and said that it was no big deal, and if we could meet for another consultation to see if there was anything we could do to fix it. She said it was no problem. Unfortunately though, my work and school schedule got way too hectic and I told her I would have to reschedule, and again she said no problem.A couple of months later when my schedule cleared up I emailed her. Then I emailed her again, and then I emailed her again. No response. I went onto TatStat, where she accepts appointments, and sent her a message on there and booked an appointment. No response and no approval.At this point I was annoyed, but I wasn't angry. I understand life happens and that maybe she was incredibly busy or having to deal with personal stuff. Weeks continued to pass and I decided to just email the shop and inform them that I couldn't get a hold of Chanelle. The next day I immediately get a text from her asking if I emailed the shop owner. She didn't even apologize, and basically said I should've just texted her (I completely forgot I had her number). She asked when I would be available to go in, and I gave her my schedule. She said she would check her calendar and get back to me. She never did.At this point, I have given up on trying to work with Chanelle. Even if she reaches out again after reading this, I'm done with her and will not respond. She put a crooked permanent piece of art on my body and she doesn't even seem to care to make it right. I have to cover part of the piece with makeup when it shows. I shouldn't have to be putting this much effort into working with someone who made a mistake on their own piece.

I've come here a handful of times and every time I'm so excited for what Laura and I have planned. I've gotten a custom tattoo, a touch up, a cover up and a spur of the moment tattoo all by Laura. I've referred a friend to her who was looking to get a sleeve done but it wasn't Laura's style and she happily referred her to someone else. I love how honest and meticulous she is with the tattoos she does.

It was my first time getting tattooed here and I had an awesome experience! Channelle did my tattoo, she was super friendly and welcoming right when we walked in. I loved and appreciated how she really took the time to make sure my tattoo was placed perfectly on my body and I felt super comfortable. Her lines are so clean! 10/10 would recommend her, I will definitely be back for more in the future!!

Yesterday was my first time at Faithful and True Tattoo, and I will definitely be a returning customer. The shop itself is visually beautiful and incredibly clean. My specific artist was Hannah. The booking process was very easy. She posed some flash on Instagram that she wanted to tattoo and I responded. She contacted me quickly and worked around my busy schedule without complaint. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about her! During the actual appointment Hannah was refreshingly kind, attentive, and gentle. She repeatedly checked in on my comfort and asked if I needed any breaks. She was light handed and I never felt like my skin was being overworked. She did a phenomenal job on my orange and I am so thrilled to have it as a part of my collection. I can't wait to see the piece healed.

Yesterday was my first time at Faithful and True Tattoo, and I will definitely be a returning customer. The shop itself is visually beautiful and incredibly clean. My specific artist was Hannah. Hannah was incredibly light handed and easy to talk to. I've followed her work for a while and commissioned her for print pieces in the past few years. I've got a full sleeve and other scattered pieces, and was honored to have Hannah add to the growing collection. While she may be a newer tattoo artist, she's got a natural talent for the craft. If you are a "new to the tattoo world person who doesn't want something cheesy or crazy looking but still unique" she's for YOU. If you're a tattoo connoisseur and looking for an New Americana style piece, she's for you. If your an old lady who thinks you're too old for it, but still kinda want to: she's for you. The point is, tattoos are a cultural phenomenon that is changing in its taboo-ness and limiting of job opportunities! The world has opened its heart to the art form and Hannah has joined among its wonderful creative community and is making her mark on it, literally.

Everett was such a cool guy. He drew up two tattoos; one for my fiance and myself. They were first tattoos so I appreciate how chill he was and the space is so open and vibrant. The work is amazing; both black and white and exactly what we asked for. We're 5 days after the appointment and as long as we take care of them past the healing stages these are going to be great foundation pieces for future tattoos. Definitely will return for more work should we ever be in the area again.

Went in for a cover up and when he finished and he showed me the finished product had eyeballs added to the bottom wings of my butterfly (ugly) so the owner told me to come back when it healed. So when I returned he drew 2 lines straight thru the wings and colored it in, so now it looks like racer stripes. Horrible job and horrible attitude.

I absolutely love the shop and the artists seem very talented. Unfortunately I will not be getting my tattoo done here. I have been trying to get it done since January. I was working with the artist Channelle and we finally booked my appointment for 3/17, placed my deposit went and did my consultation, a few days prior to the appt she cancels it and wants to move me to 4/7, which I replied I couldn't swing cause of work needing me on weekends and asked if she could put me on a Thursday/Friday...still have not heard back about rescheduling my 3-4 hour tattoo at $120 an hour. I have 7 emails with this artist, which she has only responded to me twice. I had to call the shop to even get her to want to do my consultation after I had immediately placed my deposit. Very disappointed with the lack of communication. It feels very unprofessional and I feel like my business is not wanted or needed. That's ok, there's tons of great artists that can respond to my inquires and are eager to put me on the books.

We started with a rough idea and Everett made my dream come true. I had a phoenix tattoo'd on my right forearm done by him. Tattoo process was over the course of 2 days - outline first and then color next visit. The entire process was professional and also very personal and 2 years later I am still madly in love with my tattoo and ready to head back to Everett for more. I've had tattoos done at 3 different shops - one in Merced, two in Fresno. Faithful and True Tattoo was BY FAR the best experience. I should mention that while completing my large tattoo, he also did a forearm tattoo for my daughter - lots of detail work on both tattoos that he completed at the same time - and despite a long day of work for both of us, both tattoos are AMAZING.

About three weeks ago I got my second tattoo done by Everett, while visiting my daughter in California. My first tattoo, in 2015, he did was a very simple design I picked out and he did a wonderful job. For my second tattoo I found a picture of my two cats, who I called my "California Girls" and brought with me when I moved here to Canada. I sent the picture to Everett and gave him an idea of what I wanted. When I saw what he had designed, I was really excited about it. When the tattoo was finally done, I was blown away at how it turned out. It was beyond what I had imagined. Everett is an awesome artist. Thank you once again, Everett.

Although my experience wasn't terrible and my tattoo came out beautifully, I feel as though this tattoo parlor is a little bit less than what it's made up to be. 4/5 (please read) -Appointment making is a simple phone call but be sure to call at least a week in advance so you can be sure to get the appointment time you'd like. -The artists here are all very talented in their own ways! Their art is beautiful and unique, so be sure to check their instagram profiles out before deciding a specific artist to do your work. -The atmosphere is really neat and hip VERY CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL, but any personal relations with customers lack for my personal liking which made my experience a little bit more tense. My visit here was much more of a business transaction than a personal connection between the artist and I which was a little disappointing only because I feel as though it could have gone so much smoother and I would have felt more confident in myself when asking questions and discussing placement, size, and design, and price of my tattoo. -Over all my tattoo came out perfect and couldn't be better. My artist,Everett did his job just like a professional should and I left happy. Beautiful work. *My only complaint is the slightly uncomfortable atmosphere in the shop.

From the recommendation of a good friend I dropped by just to check it out as l was looking for place to get some work done. As l got out of my truck Laura opened the door and welcomed me in. She was very pleasant and friendly to talk too. I gave her my ideas and that's when her magic started. Didn't have a clue who was going to do the work on me at the time, but it became evident that Laura was the one, she showed me that she was very interested by paying very close attenti...on to what l had in mind. She made me feel like l was her very first person she was going to her art work on. I was excited and she picked up on it also. The day of my appointment came around and Laura was nothing but the professional, artist and tattooist, she made feel relaxed and comfortable, we shared conversations through out the session, she kept updated all the time on where she was at with the tattoo, that was very nice since my tattoo's were on my calves and l was laying down on my stomach. We took one brake, l got up walked round, had to take a sneak peak at her work.....it was only half done but it was "AWESOME" needless to say you have another very satisfied client. I feel as if I have a master piece tattooed upon me. I needed to cover a very old tattoo; that really was my only goal. However, after speaking with Everett, he helped me realize I could have something more than just the covering the old tattoo. Everett talked to me a few times helping me create something special. When I arrived for my appointment, he had turned my idea into a beautiful image. After the tattoo, that image on paper had transformed into a master piece on my hip. I'm thankful he was recommended to me because he turned a covering of a past life into an inspiration for my future. Thank you, Everett.

Everett was awesome in being detail oriented to get the art how I wanted. Thus being my second tattoo, I was impressed at how easy the recovery time was. He was able to lay the ink in a way that had limited doscomfort. I would say a visit to the dentist is more uncomfortable. His color and shading is incredible. The atmosphere is an incredible one. Very clean, very positive, and enjoyable. Look forward to our follow up sessions to complete my work. Thanks Everett!

Everett was such a cool guy. He drew up two tattoos; one for my fiance and myself. They were first tattoos so I appreciate how chill he was and the space is so open and vibrant. The work is amazing; both black and white and exactly what we asked for. We're 5 days after the appointment and as long as we take care of them past the healing stages these are going to be great foundation pieces for future tattoos. Definitely will return for more work should we ever be in the area again.

Went in for a cover up and when he finished and he showed me the finished product had eyeballs added to the bottom wings of my butterfly (ugly) so the owner told me to come back when it healed. So when I returned he drew 2 lines straight thru the wings and colored it in, so now it looks like racer stripes. Horrible job and horrible attitude.

I absolutely love the shop and the artists seem very talented. Unfortunately I will not be getting my tattoo done here. I have been trying to get it done since January. I was working with the artist Channelle and we finally booked my appointment for 3/17, placed my deposit went and did my consultation, a few days prior to the appt she cancels it and wants to move me to 4/7, which I replied I couldn't swing cause of work needing me on weekends and asked if she could put me on a Thursday/Friday...still have not heard back about rescheduling my 3-4 hour tattoo at $120 an hour. I have 7 emails with this artist, which she has only responded to me twice. I had to call the shop to even get her to want to do my consultation after I had immediately placed my deposit. Very disappointed with the lack of communication. It feels very unprofessional and I feel like my business is not wanted or needed. That's ok, there's tons of great artists that can respond to my inquires and are eager to put me on the books.

We started with a rough idea and Everett made my dream come true. I had a phoenix tattoo'd on my right forearm done by him. Tattoo process was over the course of 2 days - outline first and then color next visit. The entire process was professional and also very personal and 2 years later I am still madly in love with my tattoo and ready to head back to Everett for more. I've had tattoos done at 3 different shops - one in Merced, two in Fresno. Faithful and True Tattoo was BY FAR the best experience. I should mention that while completing my large tattoo, he also did a forearm tattoo for my daughter - lots of detail work on both tattoos that he completed at the same time - and despite a long day of work for both of us, both tattoos are AMAZING.

About three weeks ago I got my second tattoo done by Everett, while visiting my daughter in California. My first tattoo, in 2015, he did was a very simple design I picked out and he did a wonderful job. For my second tattoo I found a picture of my two cats, who I called my "California Girls" and brought with me when I moved here to Canada. I sent the picture to Everett and gave him an idea of what I wanted. When I saw what he had designed, I was really excited about it. When the tattoo was finally done, I was blown away at how it turned out. It was beyond what I had imagined. Everett is an awesome artist. Thank you once again, Everett.

Although my experience wasn't terrible and my tattoo came out beautifully, I feel as though this tattoo parlor is a little bit less than what it's made up to be. 4/5 (please read) -Appointment making is a simple phone call but be sure to call at least a week in advance so you can be sure to get the appointment time you'd like. -The artists here are all very talented in their own ways! Their art is beautiful and unique, so be sure to check their instagram profiles out before deciding a specific artist to do your work. -The atmosphere is really neat and hip VERY CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL, but any personal relations with customers lack for my personal liking which made my experience a little bit more tense. My visit here was much more of a business transaction than a personal connection between the artist and I which was a little disappointing only because I feel as though it could have gone so much smoother and I would have felt more confident in myself when asking questions and discussing placement, size, and design, and price of my tattoo. -Over all my tattoo came out perfect and couldn't be better. My artist,Everett did his job just like a professional should and I left happy. Beautiful work. *My only complaint is the slightly uncomfortable atmosphere in the shop.

From the recommendation of a good friend I dropped by just to check it out as l was looking for place to get some work done. As l got out of my truck Laura opened the door and welcomed me in. She was very pleasant and friendly to talk too. I gave her my ideas and that's when her magic started. Didn't have a clue who was going to do the work on me at the time, but it became evident that Laura was the one, she showed me that she was very interested by paying very close attenti...on to what l had in mind. She made me feel like l was her very first person she was going to her art work on. I was excited and she picked up on it also. The day of my appointment came around and Laura was nothing but the professional, artist and tattooist, she made feel relaxed and comfortable, we shared conversations through out the session, she kept updated all the time on where she was at with the tattoo, that was very nice since my tattoo's were on my calves and l was laying down on my stomach. We took one brake, l got up walked round, had to take a sneak peak at her work.....it was only half done but it was "AWESOME" needless to say you have another very satisfied client. I feel as if I have a master piece tattooed upon me. I needed to cover a very old tattoo; that really was my only goal. However, after speaking with Everett, he helped me realize I could have something more than just the covering the old tattoo. Everett talked to me a few times helping me create something special. When I arrived for my appointment, he had turned my idea into a beautiful image. After the tattoo, that image on paper had transformed into a master piece on my hip. I'm thankful he was recommended to me because he turned a covering of a past life into an inspiration for my future. Thank you, Everett.

Everett was awesome in being detail oriented to get the art how I wanted. Thus being my second tattoo, I was impressed at how easy the recovery time was. He was able to lay the ink in a way that had limited doscomfort. I would say a visit to the dentist is more uncomfortable. His color and shading is incredible. The atmosphere is an incredible one. Very clean, very positive, and enjoyable. Look forward to our follow up sessions to complete my work. Thanks Everett!
