Eternity & BeyondPros: Very clean - especially on the 'clinic' side, personal, professional, flexible hours, knowledgeable, tucked away, and located centrally in town. Cons: Can be hard to find the first time, Don Pepe's staff next door are sometimes noisy, limited parking on event nights. My experience: I've been Monica's client for a few years now and, I must say, it's a pleasure to see she finally has a yelp for Eternity & Beyond. I first started visiting E&B for aesthetic services like waxing. As Monica added more choices for her clients, I tried out her other menu options. The IPL permanent hair reduction process was explained in detail to me about a year ago. While I was cautioned about my tan potentially lightening, I've seen such great success on my toes that I'm starting on my legs. It's a bit painful, kind of like waxing, but I was forewarned of this as well and not having to shave all the time is worth it. I consistently receive a reminder text the day before my appointment and rescheduling is super convenient. There have also been a handful of times where same-day service has been facilitated. I'm a tad trypanophobic, so I cannot vouch for her permanent make up services or tattoo removal (vaccines are hard enough!). However, I used to frequent those Asian massage parlors around town before massage therapy was added onto the E&B menu. Working at a desk for 40+ hrs/week, and especially after I started lifting weights, leaves me constantly sore. The techniques used here are different from other masseuses I've been to and far surpass what I get at the "relaxing station." I always walk out of E&B feeling refreshed with a bottle of water in hand. On those lucky weeks when I do visit, my recovery time after an intense work-out is shortened. I had some trouble finding E&B when she first moved across from the SaveMart Center. It's tucked away, but now that I've found it I'm glad for the privacy. Shaw is a busy street and I'm glad when I walk out disheveled or red-faced the whole CSUF campus isn't there to see. There have been a few times I've had to wait for my appointment, as another client is wrapping up due to lateness or trying to satisfy a client's preferences. Monica is extremely professional in these situations though; her desire to provide an exceptional service warrants my respect. She won't push me out the door until I'm happy with the work that's been done to appease the next client of the day. Overall, it's a very personal experience at Eternity & Beyond. The hustle and bustle of a large-scale salon or spa is absent here. The intimacy of the location and the attention to detail makes you feel like you're the only client in the world. Read Less
