What I really appreciated, aside from the clean, welcoming environment and Andrew's artistry and professionalism, is that I was just allowed to close my eyes and be quiet. I'm glad I came here though because the staff were very polite and friendly.Parking shouldn't be an issue since there's plenty.I came in thinking I was going to have to make an appointment, or waiting to talk to an artist. Instead, I was able to tell them what kind of tattoo I was looking to get, and they were able to set me up with one of their available artists, Tony. By no means was I expecting to book a session the day of.Tony was nice, funny and professional throughout the whole thing. They have wraps, pillows, and blinds for privacy which were nice for accommodating customers who aren't as comfortable! I walked in today and I was helped right away. The girl at the front desk was helpful and friendly! The tattooing station was clean and everything was wrapped. I had Andrew and he was amazing! Had an amazing experience with the new artist Laura! Me and my friend came in for a walk-in and were lucky enough to get her! She was extra caring and detailed and wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with our results. The session itself was really fun, and she made us feel so comfortable. All of my nervous energy washed away as soon as she started cracking jokes with us. She's super gentle and our tattoos ended up looking SUPER clean. They were exactly what we had envisioned! I tried calling before heading over, but the number seemed to be offline.  I did, however, call before they were open, so maybe that's why the number wasn't working.Regardless, I drove over on a random Thursday because I'm injured and can't workout anyway, so I figured now's a good time as any to get some more tattoos.I walked in, not sure what to expect, and a few people were already at the shop, so I went off to the side to look at their glass cases.  Tony walked over to me, introduced himself, and I wasn't sure if I was going to get tattoos right then and there or if I'd make an appointment to go back.  But after talking for a few minutes and showing him a bunch of pictures on my phone that I have saved as "tattoo inspiration"/ideas, and asking him for his opinion on said inspiration photos, I decided to go ahead and get some new ink since he was available!Tony was so patient with my indecisiveness and we went back and forth so many times.  He drew so many mock ups and changed things until I was totally happy.  When the time finally came to get my tattoos, he took his time with the placement and adjusted it until it was perfect.  I cannot say enough good things about Tony and his work.  I LOVE how my tattoos turned out and while it's only been a few days, I can confidently say that they're even better than I could have imagined.Tony also gave me a great price - at least I think so!  And I will definitely be back in the future when I want some more tattoos :)Just a tip that if you pay with cc, there's a 8% service charge, so take cash if you'd rather save that 8%! This review is long overdue.. Anyways I came in in August spontaneously wanting two tattoos that I had been thinking about. I awkwardly and slowly walked in and the guy at the front joked around with me, so that helped make me a bit less nervous.Then, Tony (!!!) helped me out and even helped me to design the tattoos I wanted which was an olive branch for behind my ear and a needle/thread for my arm. What I liked about him was that he didn't follow any of the photos I showed him, instead, he took the time to draw his own design and it's just a small thing I appreciate and respect. Tony then even helped me pick out the spot for my tattoos and he was very enthusiastic about my ideas and opinions. I asked to fix up a part of the sketch he did, and he gladly fixed it! It's the little things. The actual tattooing part was very sanitary, professional, and simple! Super attentive and always asking if you're alright with this or that, or just in general. At the end, he helped take a picture of them and reviewed the aftercare for the tattoos with me. Tony also offered the $10 discount from Yelp which was super nice of him! Fast forward to December, I came in for Eighth Element's Customer Appreciation Day and lemme tell ya, I felt appreciated. Everyone was so helpful and nice (shoutout to Gina, my lunch was delicious). They had pizza come in at 12:45ish and she offered us in the waiting area something to drink. Again, the little things! I requested Tony for my little tattoo which was a zen enso circle. I was feeling iffy about the location, and again, he was super helpful and gave his honest opinion. I went with a photo from Pinterest, because I wanted the whole day process to go smooth for them, which was all good. He makes the experience comfortable by talking to you and just getting to know you which helps with a bunch of needles going through your skin. Tony is an amazing and extremely attentive artist! I walked in during the weekend and was immediately introduced to him. I quickly scheduled my appointment for the following Tuesday after excitedly talking to him about the design of the tattoo and the estimated price. Spirited Away is my favorite movie and Tony really blew me away with his designs. I knew it was going to be a beautiful tattoo when I saw the final design. Throughout the session Tony was attentive, detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about the perfection of the tattoo. I had been thinking about my first tattoo for years and when it came time to pick an artist, I wanted someone who was not only talented but also communicative and outgoing. And Frank was all of that! Even before my appointment, he sent me a photo of his sketch so far to see if I liked it and I really appreciated that. And on the day of the appointment, he took his time fixing the placement and size and told me what would/wouldn't look good on my back. He even made sure that I could extend the piece to my arms in the future if I wanted to.We ended up breaking it up into two sessions. The first was about two hours long (including the placement time) and was just the outline. And after, he even gave me an aftercare lotion for free! (Thanks, Frank!) The second session was about 3 weeks later and lasted about 4 hours. Those 4 hours flew by so fast. He's so funny that it barely even felt like half that time! And in the end, he charged me for only 3.5 hours for that second appt since we took some breaks while he changed needles and he didn't want to charge me for those breaks. I was just blown away by that and how nice he was! My tattoo healed amazingly well after both sessions and I get compliments on my floral piece all the time! TONY IS SUPER! I walked in with some pictures I found on Pinterest. I spoke with Tony and he helped design my tattoos. It was my first time and I felt very comfortable and assured with Tony. I walked in and asked some questions and the staff was very nice and accomodating when it came to my needs, and even some I didn't know about! They educated me on caring for the tattoo, had hand outs to take home, and even provided a beverage!(they had capri sun haha) Anyway, I was able to walk in, show my artwork, get an appointment, and get a tattoo, in one day. Just in case, you should call in adbanced if you plan on doing a walk in, or even better, schedule an appointment to give them more time to desl with your artwork and design. I will definitely be coming back, I already have for my other two tattoos, but I am just writing this late! Amazing place and outstanding customer service!! Frank did my second piercings (upper lobe and helix on both ears (4 total)) and made me feel super comfortable. I was nervous throughout the whole but Frank helped distract me when he did the piercings. He also went through the whole process very detailed and helped me understand what was going on. At the end, he offered me ice cream/drinks for my "brave" journey I'll absolutely come back if I ever get more piercings or get a tattoo. Been going to him since he was working at another shop and then followed him on his journey on opening his own. I had the best piercing experience at Eighth Element Tattoo. Everyone at the shop was very professional, and I was impressed with the amount of experience the piercer had. I'll definitely be going back here for my next piercing!I first reached out via Yelp and got a quick response. All my questions were answered and we set up a time for me to come in the next day to get both of my nipples pierced. Everything was explained to me from how mapping out where the bar would go, how the piercing would actually work, and how the rib cage actually determines the direction the piercing should be. In the end - both were even and they looked great! The price was definitely reasonable, too. (I've been debating getting this done for 2 years so I did a lot of shopping around)As for healing, the team explained best practices to me and I bought the spray. It was the easiest care instructions I've ever heard, and I was honestly suspicious at first. Every other piercing I've had required me to make a warm saline solution and soak it for a period of time every day. Healing for those took a while. This time, just using the spray as directed I had essentially no discharge after the first couple days. It's been 3 or 4 weeks now and they're healing amazingly well. I absolutely love my piercings! About a year ago I came in with a plan for my very first tattoo and he did everything to make it work and even calmed my nerves. This is a very late review but I'm finally getting around to posting it! I got my first tattoo from Frank here in August of 2017 & it was an awesome experience. I honestly had no clue what to do & was very nervous. Frank helped out a lot & was very honest with his opinions, which I am much appreciative of. I originally wanted a mermaid but Frank shared with me why all my placement ideas weren't good. With his help, I was able to decide on getting a simple rose on my left hip instead.Actually getting the tattoo was another great experience. Frank periodically made sure I was comfortable & wasn't hurting. I showed him what I wanted and he advised me to not get it since it wouldn't look as nice as I imagine because my back isn't a flat surface. I found this place on Yelp about a month ago. I went to about 7 places in the area and this one felt the best. I was right. I came here with my daughter who decided to get her first tattoo. I myself have never been in a tattoo studio before and had no experience in this area besides watching L.A. Ink with Kat Von D. so I was a bit nervous about the whole experience and let my daughter know more than a few times that this would be something permanent so she better be sure that this is something she really wanted. With that being said I have to say that Andrew who you can follow on Instagram under "thepriesttattoos" was so professional and very nice. He was really patient and detail oriented when it came to the French and especially Russian word spellings of the words that my daughter wanted as a tattoo. He makes sure to double check multiple times if there are any questions before and after the tattoo/piercing, and goes over how to take care of it and clean it. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!I just left the shop right now and I had to take some time to write a review because I am so happy and impressed with how everything went. My boyfriend wanted to get his nose pierced so I looked on Yelp and came across Eighth Element, I noticed that there were a lot of 5 star reviews which made me happy. I called in to see if they took walk in's, Frank was really helpful over the phone and I appreciated his honesty when I asked if a hoop can be done initially.I came in a few hours later and Frank remembered that I had called (which I liked, it's the little things.) Another guy helped us first, gave JP paper work to sign and offered us water bottles. I was not expecting such great customer service at a tattoo and piercing shop to be honest, I was very delighted so far. Frank was working on someone and told us it would be a 20 minute wait which was fine, he ended up helping us sooner and before he started he told us about the $5 off Yelp offer which was awesome, I was going to ask him about that and the fact that he brought it up first showed me that he cares about the customer. He marked JP's nose and gave us time to see if we liked the placement, he even put on a hoop so that we can see what it would look like when his nose healed and he can wear a hoop. I asked if he can mark it again because I wanted to see it at a different spot. I appreciated his patience and that he wanted BOTH of us to be satisfied with the marking before he pierced it. Last week I am proud to say that I popped my ink cherry. And I have to say, I'm glad my first was with Eighth Element. Unsurprisingly I was relatively clueless as to what I was doing, coming in with only a vague picture in my head of what I wanted. Andrew took that and conceived something better than what I could have dreamed of.  And not only was the man a brilliant artist, but he was a super chill dude. I have had tattoos done by many different and talented artists before settling with Dave. Dave's work and artistic ability speaks for itself. Dave puts his full effort and time into whatever work his clientele brings in. He always makes sure that you are happy with the placement and work before he begins tattooing. Came in to get my daith and conch pierced with Frank, yesterday. The shop is super clean and sleek looking. I arrived before Frank did, and one of the guys who worked there greeted us and offered drinks. Frank was very thorough with explaining everything he was doing for me, and made sure I was satisfied with the placement and how the piercings looked. The process itself was pretty quick. He even looked at the placement of the navel piercing I got at another place, and seemed to give me his very honest opinion instead of taking the opportunity to "fix" it. After everything, he walked me through the aftercare process and gave my friend and me a Capri-sun. Shweet! Overall, a great experience! I had Dave work on me, I was a walk-in and was helped with immediately! This was my second time getting a tattoo and honestly, this experience was so much more memorable!My tattoo was 10 words and only cost me $100 without tip, he was even hesitate about me giving him a tip! Dave was able to help me decide exactly what I wanted. He gave me ideas and his input, and we were able to get everything done, including the tattoo, in a little over an hour and a half.He was super patient and polite with me, and he explained every thing that was gonna happen and always asked if I was comfortable with it. I went in for a consultation the day before my appointment and Frank was super friendly and helpful. I love and admire the shop owner, Frank, very much. I got my first two tattoos from him back in 2014 and he made me feel super comfortable, although I was immensely nervous. He will teach you breathing techniques that will help you through the process and he is a super humble and fun person to talk to. My girlfriend and I walked in around 4:30 on a Sunday when they close at 6. We both wanted small tattoos and were helped immediately. I had andrew and she had dave. I've been coming to this shop since 2010.  Frank did my very first tattoo and I've been longtime client since. Frank has done half of my upper right arm/shoulder, a couple of little pieces on my back / ankles, and currently he is working on my half sleeve on my left forearm. I have gotten a couple of tattoos at other shops from different artists, but I have always been overall happier with the work Frank has tattooed on me. I had a 22 gauge nose hoop in my nose and wanted to go up to a 20 gauge. I called various tattoo/piercing shops because there is a specific nose hoop I look for. It has to be a half hoop (not a full circle, maybe 3/4 of a circle. 5/16" 7.9mm and silver with a stopper at 1 end) yes I know, sounds complicated lol! But majority of the spots I called did not have this standard hoop I'm looking for. Until I called this location.Hali, the main piercer here, was so helpful and nice. I told her what I needed and she assured me she has exactly what I'm looking for, told me to come in whenever.so I came in at night and she took me into her room where she told me to lay down and told me she would try a technique called "fishing" (I'm sure that's what she called it) basically she lubed up the 20 gauge nose hoop and wiggles it around in my nose until it slides through. To my surprise I barely felt anything. It slid right through and wahhh laaaa I now have a 20 gauge nose ring :) I was very pleased. She then told me directions on how to clean it. I paid and left :) she was very professional and clean with her work.She also said she had the same nose ring in her nose, however I felt like when I looked at hers, it looked shinier? Where as mine looked less shiny?? So I did call her the next day to ask if we had the same one and she reassured me that she has on a duplicate nose ring as mine and that maybe I have to just clean mine. There must have been make up or something on mine to make it seem less shiny. And she offered to clean it herself if I still felt like it wasn't shiny enough after cleaning it. After cleaning it, I did see the shine. I also wanted to ask how can I go bigger to an 18 gauge in the future and she was able to give me a couple of options :) she always has a very positive attitude and willing to help whenever I had questions. I'd first like to start by saying that this was definitely an unforgettable experience. To the consultation, getting the tattoo, and the basics of a business and a client -- everything was clear-cut and went smoothly and perfectly. Initially, the parlor itself is kind of difficult to spot because the main entrance is in the back of the area (it does have a store sign out on front facing the street though), yet this just gives it a more calming ambience. The inside is VERY clean front to back and includes a waiting area, drinking water, and tattoo portfolios you can flip through. I brought in a sketch and pictures on my phone of what I wanted and was quickly helped out by Dave. He was very thorough about making sure he had enough references to make adjustments to and create a perfect stencil. We set up an appointment date, he quoted me a reasonable price, and I put down a deposit. On the day of the appointment, Dave was extremely helpful and accommodating. He showed me the finished stencil (which was perfect) and gave a suggestion to angle the tattoo to make sure it captured the authenticity of the original work (I thought exactly the same). Throughout the process, I was given updates and asked if everything was good. I ended up being charged only half of the quoted price which was great! Overall, Dave impeccably captured the essence of what I wanted for my first tattoo and brownie points for making sure my friend was comfortable while waiting. Also, don't forget to tip your artists!
