My first time here was great. They are kid friendly. They play movies while you're getting tatted. They also offer a free touch up which is really cool. No other place has ever offered me that. Also, they give you a card where everytime you go back you receive a stamp. So get all 6 stamps an' get the 7th one 40% off.Overall, my experience was great. Will be coming back. I wanted my nose re-pierced and I usually always go to the same guy in Pomona but it's a little bit too far for me now, so I came to Yelp, the shop has 5 stars so I decided to give it a shot. I passed the street (Hawthorne) twice before I actually noticed it. Could just be me being silly lol. When we walked in we were immediately greeted. Everyone in the shop was friendly and joking around. Honestly I just felt like I was hanging out with a bunch of friends. Ernie did my piercing, I have already had it done 3x so he warned me it would hurt more than usual (scar tissue). It did hurt more than usual but I knew I was in good hands. He also told me I could call or go back to the shop if I had any questions and in a month or so he'd switch out my nose ring for me for free. Although this place was a little difficult to find, it was well worth the struggle. The place looks super dope with all the decor. The gentlemen who does the piercings is SUPER professional. He seems to be a bit shy but he is super sweet and gentle. I went in for a daith piercing and honestly, I didn't feel a thing! I came to this tattoo shop not knowing what to expect because it was my first time getting a tattoo. The day before, I googled many tattoo pictures of cherry blossom trees and they were all pretty tacky... SO I WAS SCARED SHITLESS AND WONDERED WHAT IF, YA KNOW? I first heard of this place thru an amazing artist that works here, Ernie Alvarado, thru his instagram. I was searching thru artists work online and his stood out to me. I have given myself a few stick n pokes but I was saving my first pro tattoo for Ernie. I went in around November to get a piece done on my back, a tree and cloud from one of the covers of my favorite Modest Mouse album. A geometric outline on my left shoulder blade no color or filling. It was exactly what I wanted. It came out perfect and I love it. And I went into a little shock but he was a huge help in making sure I was okay. No better way to pay tribute to my favorite band than a bitchin awesome tattoo! I came in about a week ago to get a cover up of one of my stick n poke mistakes and he covered it up perfectly! I got my daughter's face on my finger, her name is Rio and she's a calico/tabby cat mix. I highly recommend him to anyone in the valley looking for an artist you can trust. Ma boi Ernie! My husband got a couple tattoos from Ernie many years ago before he worked here so when I decided to get my first tattoo with my sister we decided to give him a try. I am so glad I did, he fit us in the same night we decided to go and he did it late even though he already had plans that night. He did beautiful work and designed our tattoo before we got there and did the little tweaks we asked for without complaint or attitude. I felt comfortable even though I was nervous and he was very gentle, it barely hurt. He joked and talked with us the whole time and made it a great time. The whole team there is very welcoming and nice. And the shop itself although a bit hard to find has really neat and unique decor. Loved that they had tvs playing shows to entertain those waiting. I can't wait to get my next tattoos done by Ernie, especially since he also love all things nerdy like LOTR, Harry Potter and Star Wars. Love this place. The custom art work is Unbelievable.  The people here are not just Artists they become friends. I have never felt like a customer, I have always felt like I showed up at a buddy's house. The whole shop is clean from top to bottom. I have done 8 hour sittings here and seen them do cleaning around the shop to keep it up during the day. The shop might only be a couple years old however I have been going to jay for 4 years. I have two sleeves by him and I still enjoy them as much today as when I got them. I get asked everyday about my Cali sleeve everyday.The prices are great.I have never walked away feeling like I over paid. Yet I have always felt like I walked away with more then I paid for. I asked jay for a painting also and he did so. The painting was great better then I asked for with a great price tag as well,for a one of a kind painting.
