So far I've gotten two helix piercings from Shwayze. He is so knowledgeable and inviting. He takes the time to educate you and talks you through each step for the piercing. His jewelry that he has are so beautiful. I had my first helix piercing fall out and I went to the shop and bought a new piece. He put it in for me and made sure my piercing was healing correctly. "Wouldn't recommend this shop or Ducky- David.  Over priced and the end result can be a hit or miss, but most likely a miss. Tattoo came out looking 5 years old with patchy unsaturated work. He may offer to fix it but will charge and/or the tattoo will still look old and patchy. Read Less

First about the shop-It's so homey and comfortable! I love all of the artists here! They are all so nice!I've been here a few times now with my girlfriend. She's been here multiple times to get her own work done was well. I would highly recommend Eric, the tattooist here. He's kind, considerate, funny and really puts you at ease. He tells the best stories and is overall just a wonderful person.My favorite thing about Eric is that I really feel that I can trust him. He's a true artist and will work with anything you can throw at him. I just love the attention to detail and care he puts into each tattoo we've both received from him. Just got my helix pierced and I'm so impressed. I've seen this tattoo parlor for forever and since it was close decided I'd get my piercing here. I came in today happy and excited toget a nose piercing. Staff was friendly but I suffered through the worst pain ever !!!! He struggled soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much just to get the piercing through, he attempted with two different piercings, & I just had enough of it, I walked out with a hole a hole in my nose and tears coming out of BOTH EI was HURT! I went here a few days ago to get a tattoo darkened after another person at a different tattoo shop said he wouldn't do it, but for me to come back the next day. I felt I would have wasted my time. So when I went to Empire Tattoo, the artist (sorry I don't remember his name) immediately said yes. Not only did he darken my tattoo, but he added a little more at a very reasonable price. First night I walked in and no one was at the front. Took a while to get greeted. We went over tattoo and price and everything was good. Next day I come in and no one says hi or anything. Paul did my tattoo and he was very helpful, the tattoo did not take too long, maybe 45 min for my compass rose tattoo on my wrist. Tattoo was pretty clean. Weeks after letting it heal and I could properly examine it, I noticed some small details had not been finished. Hopefully they are things I can go back and get fixed without having to pay again! Hate to say it but probably my worst tattoo experience, and I've been tattooed all over the country I'm covered head to toe. Guys were friendly but very unprofessional, Did a decent sized piece, guys were talking about things that you shouldn't talk about in front of customers they were making fun of previous clients, one guy kept swearing at and in front of his young son. The other artists kept crowding around me and were extremely loud, one guy had the most annoying laugh I've ever heard in my entire life and made me want to walk out. I went in having a good day hoping to have a nice piece done, walked out feeling like I got hit by a train with a massive headache, with a piece that's not even finished. Now I have to go see a real artist to finish it for me, and I just wasted a bunch of money for something I could've gotten done ten times better for the same price. Definitely won't be back. Walked in for a gift to myself on my 25th wedding Anniversary. Dan Sanrio greeted us right away. Waited a few minutes and checked out the shop. Very clean, well lit and conformable. 3 artists all working,  Various photo albums from artists were available. Spoke to Dan and gave him my idea for a last minute idea. Took him 15 minutes tops to draw up a design that instantly clicked for me.  Great line work and excellent shading. Very impressed with the shop and Dan will definitely see me again. Love this place. First off clean and hygienic, so there's 3 stars already. The studio has sofas and music for you or friends to wait in and so much eye candy! The walls are decked with work from various artists and those flip books you can go through to sort of "shop" for a tattoo lol. I've gotten 2 pieces done here, no appointments either, both walk-ins and I was basically in and out in an hour or so. Any work is 80$ minimum, definitely a reasonable price point. Also, cash only!!First piece I got done, I forgot the artist's name, but nonetheless, he was very friendly and eased me into my first tattoo ever on a random Monday afternoon a few hours before I had to go into work (lol). He did a great job! I will probably go in and add more to it though.My second piece was done by Dan! He was very friendly and supportive the entire time too. What I wanted had Japanese hiragana in it and Dan was very attentive to making it accurate and exactly as I had given him from the reference I brought in. The piece was on my side and I swear it, getting it done made me rethink every life choice I ever made prior to that moment of intense and repetitive pain lol. Sooooo worth it though. Dan did a great job and made it as quick as possible.Both tattoos healed very nicely :)))))) I will most likely going to be coming back for future pieces I think up of! Read Less

I came in to get a hoop put back in an existing piercing that I had to temporarily take out. The guys here were all very helpful and put my piercing back in right away.
