I saw some of C's work and was quite impressed. I contacted C and had him draw up a few ideas for my full sleeve. He got me in the next day. We made one change on the fly, he free handed the changes and did a great job. His shop really old school, with his art all over the walls. C is very processional, and polite. Which goes a long way in my book. He showed me all of the equipment was individually wrapped and brand new. I love that, takes the anxiety out of knowing if things are clean. I spent just shy if 5hrs in the chair for the line work and I'll be back for way more. This is honestly the best tattoo shop I've ever been in. I came here because I really like Cory's work and he's tattooed me once before. I immediately felt very welcome here, they're very friendly and accommodating. Very clean shop too, their needles are disposable, and they make sure to open a new package in front of you. They are very knowledgable and actually care about the quality of the tattoo rather than making quick cash, which is very appreciated and hard to find in a business nowadays. Lightest touch, hands down. It was nearly 10 years without a tattoo and the anticipation and anxiety was really ruining it for me. I contacted several shops in the Fallbrook area in reference to completing a half sleeve. The other shops that i contacted never answered the phone or never returned my messages. The one shop that i was able to get in touch with after driving over there since they never answered the phone or returned my messages was "Recon Tattoo" I spoke to Shawn in person as he was closing the shop up early for the night since he needed to get home to the kids. He set me up with a 3 pm appointment for the next day. When i arrived at the shop at 2:45 Shawn informed me he would have to cancel the appointment because he was baby sitting his kids in the shop and would not be able to tattoo that day. That was a real bummer since i planned my day for that appointment and i was super excited to finish this sleeve up and move on to new work.  I went back to google to look for another tattoo shop that wanted business and had a good reputation. I came across Little C's shop on yelp and decided to give him a call. When i called the shop C must of been busy since i had to leave a message. I was shocked when i received a call back in less than 5 minutes from C himself, since all the other shops in Fallbrook never called me back. I was informed on the phone that the shop was open and I could come by for a consultation before his next appointment. Upon arrival at this super cool vintage studio i was greeted by a friendly gentleman (Little C who has owned the shop for about 7 or 8 years) and he was eager to take on new business.  The hourly rate that i was quoted was a pretty standard rate that was reasonable and fair. I felt very comfortable and welcome in the shop and after reviewing some of C's previous work i knew this was the artist and shop for me! When i arrived the next day for my appointment C was all set up ready to go and the shop was very clean and smelled good. I presented C with a general tattoo that i liked online and was expecting to get the same exact tattoo that someone else already had. C liked the tattoo that i wanted but asked me what type of things i liked. I told him what i liked and he came up with a very unique tattoo that incorporated all of the things that i had mentioned to him that i liked. My sleeve is coming out excellent and is almost complete. If you are looking to get a tattoo in the Fallbrook area this is the place to go!! Do not waste your time with these other shops in town. Ive had the pleasure of spending easily over 100 hours with C. He is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He is a great tattoo artist and once I got tatted by C I have never gone to anyone else and will never go to anyone else. He takes something you want and makes it so much better then you imagined. We have taken individual pieces and turned them into huge pieces that flow so well. His attention to detail is amazing. He is a guy that really loves his job and it shows in his work. What I love is how excited he gets to tattoo you. It isn't a job for him. Its his passion. So if you are in the Fallbrook area and are looking for a tattoo artist, C is your man. If you go elsewhere you will definitely regret it... His shop is awesome too. It is an old vintage house from the 20's. Little C has the coolest tattoo shop I have ever been in.  It is a home built in the 1920's that has been gently converted into a business but very much maintains the feel of a home.  It is full of antiques reminiscent of the time period of the genre of tattoos emphasized at the shop.  While they have an old school heavy lined retro focus, they have the imagination and skills to do the modern water color, bio mechanical, Irezumi, abstract, etc...I like how they used disposable needles which removes the sanitization issue which many people are afraid of.  Overall it is uniquely a cool vibe in the shop.  Over two days I spent about 14 hours there and there were zero negative aspects I could think of.Ash Dabney was the artist that worked with me.  He redrew my design and then went at it. OMG little C is the dirtiest tattoo artist you could ever go to!!  Feel here to stop by his shop & get a tattoo as long as you don't mind hepatitis or HIV.. I saw him touch his ink bottles with bloody gloves. I did not see disinfectant soap anywhere in his shop. I saw a 50% alcohol bottle & I can only wonder if he thinks that is suitable for cleaning anything he uses to tattoo with.. He does not use clip cord covers while tattooing. He just let blood get all over his clip cord. That is horrible because he is getting blood from one customer to the next... How in the world this guy even keeps clients is beyond me... I guess the people he is tattooing have no idea how a real tattoo artist works.. I really hope weighting this post will save at least one person from getting a sick or disease from getting tattooed by little C. This guy should not even be aloud to tattoo. He does not care about the safety of his customer at all! Please please please make sure who ever is tattooing you is a clean tattoo artist & do not ever go get tattooed by this ass hole! He is spreading diseases to or men & women in our military without caring one bit about what he is giving his customers.. and this is my other shop I get inkedI have been getting tatted by C for about 18 years total he does great work and like my last post there are only 2 people who ink me up. Again a place I get great work at a decent price. Like my other artist I show him where I want my tattoo and let him create the masterpiece. Of coarse I add to it to personalize it and never disappointed with what I get. I am working on finishing up my back piece as we speak. The shop is an old school house built in the 20's and has vintage feel to it and is located in downtown Fallbrook. The shop is clean and gives you a comfortable feeling while your there. The only thing i have bad to say is that I live in Carlsbad and it takes like 20-25 minutes to get there. Then again worth the drive. C is a cool ass guy and I have a great time when I go there. I am guy who likes my tattoos to look great so my sit down times are done in 6 hour sittings and time flies while I am there. I have one more session to finish my back up just trying to find time is the hard part. C is a stand up guy who has integrity and talent quoting Michael H. It is true and that's why I quoted him. C is patient and takes pride in his work. I have to reiterate I only have 2 artist I will let tattoo me. C's work that he has put on me is mostly traditional tattoo art. Don't let that discourage you though I have seen some of the other tattoos he has done and they are very impressive. Again I only have tattoo artist and depending on where you live this is the only other shop I will recommend to anyone who asks where I get my tattoo work done.
