I was recommended by a coworker to try out this place to get my first tattoo. Lin was my artist. Now, she was pretty opinionated on things and only wanted her way. But I didnt mind, i just wanted a nice looking tattoo and trusted her. So After 45 minutes and $100, the pair of humming birds that i wanted was done. My brother and I got our noses pierced yesterday. This was by far the best experience I have ever had a tattoo/piercing shop. Matte was super knowledgeable and very thorough. I barely felt the piercing. His girlfriend was awesome, they were so interesting and engaging I didn't even want to leave.  This is now my favorite spot ever and I will be going back for a tongue piercing soon. I have gotten my nose, septum and nipple piercings done by Matte. He is not only good at his job but he is very honest with placements of where something will suit you, and knows how to ease a nervous mind when being stabbed with a needle; this may not seem important but it makes all the difference. All my piercings from him have had no problem at all, and they all are placed perfectly. Going to be absolutely honest, 10/10 would not recommend. I walked in to get a feel for the local shops and the feel I got from this one was "If you want an open minded artist, go elsewhere". They were nice, don't get me wrong. I waited around to meet the piercer just to be nice, but felt a little uncomfortable the whole time. My Triple Goddess tattoo design I brought in was subtly mocked and met with "Jesus Christ is our only Lord and Savior". Like if you have a problem inking demons, devils, or anything of the like because you feel "sinful" for doing so or if Pagan designs are ripped up because it's not what you believe in (didn't happen to me thankfully, but I've heard horror stories from other people), then you're in the wrong business. The best! Won't go anywhere else! I went for 2 piercings on a Saturday afternoon. They had a few people ahead of me but the staff was great about making a list of who was next. I went knowing I would have to be patient so the short wait wasn't a problem. The staff was nice and helpful. The piercings were done by Matte. He was great. Cheerful and so very clean in his techniques. He was great even when I squirmed. He was so understanding when I got light headed and made sure I was ok before standing up. He went through the directions for after care slowly and clearly and also handed me a pamphlet in case I forgot. They use high quality metals only and it was cheaper than I expected. I just love them. Matte pierced my granddaughter's nose last month. He is super nice, knowledgeable and cares about his clients. We had to return bc she pulled the piercing out while sleeping, so he put it back in. Great guy, easy to talk with. My sister and I consulted with Lin about some tattoos. Two stars because they have good quality jewelry BUT MY GOODNESS are these people rude!!!! It was an older Caucasian woman and man working when we went in. I've heard about their customer service before but said hey forget it let's go check it out. We came in looking for nose rings, the woman replied with such a snooty response. Basically being a smart ass with us the whole time. And directed us to the back saying "nose piercings are in the back in the display cases, that's what those display cases are for" WHAT? why did she even have to respond that way? Then the guy was annoying too, another smart ass. I would've gladly spent $60 on a nose ring because I take pride in having good and lasting jewelry. Only place I will ever go to for piercings because Matte is certified and knows his stuff!Last time i went for myself i wanted my corkscrew nose piercing changed and insert a nose ring instead. My nose piercing  wasnt really cooperating so it took Matte a little bit longer to get it thru (he did eventually) but as a result of that i freaked out and my blood pressure dropped. Before i could faint, Matte was able to soothe and calm me down and gave me tips on how to prevent fainting the few moments before it happens. He stuck by my side till i felt better (i had to drive all the way back to Napa during rush hour.) Not only does he have a professional demeanor while also being down to earth and calming, but he has the proper equipment for piercings. He has the usual stuff you expect (rubbing alcohol, sterile needles etc) but what blew me away is that he has some machine sterilizer that his piercing packages have an indicator to show if they got fully cleaned which I've never heard of and thought was cool because i KNEW my nose ring was for sure sterile because of that machine.100% recommend going to Matte for your piercings. I have never gotten a tattoo here and I don't plan on it, BUT Matte, the body piecer, is excellent at his job! Matte has pierced and re-pierced my nose several times, thankfully never fully remembering when he did hence why he never gave me a "chat" for replacing the piercing too early or replacing the jewel with a cheaper one. I really enjoy Matte's company, which is the main reason why I always go here to get my piercings done. Matte is very chill and mellow-a true sweetheart! I went to get my rose gold nose pierced for the second time, as well as a new piercing on my ear. Genuine people, great service, knowledgeable and professional! I went here today to have my girlfriends nipple piercings fixed since we had them done at a cheaper place and the lady had given her inappropriately sized bars (too short). I got my tongue pierced by Matte a few years ago and have had zero problems with it but I was weary about getting a tattoo done there due to a lot of reviews. So when I was googling for a tattoo artist near here, I was impressed to see the portfolio of Chris Wallace and surprised to see he worked here. I emailed back and fourth with him and he was incredibly easy to work with. I got a tattoo on my wrist and he really listened to what I wanted and how I wanted it. He was so good that I'm actually going back with my sisters to get a tattoo done. If you're looking for a good tattoo artist, I really suggest going to Chris or at least check out his portfolio. On Friday 21 October 2016, Lin added a great fu dog to my oriental sleeve that we have been working on for a few months. Lin is an awesome artist and doesn't leave out any small detail at all. Totally clean, qualified, and pleasant. Tattoo artist, Lin, is the sweetest and best interface for a tattoo experience I've ever had!!! (5 tattoos in my life) Very professional! She has been tattoing for 30+ years. Just got a big Sailor Jerry tattoo on my left rib cage! Hurt like a B!@#$!
