My mom went here about 16 years ago. My brother got his first tattoo here also.Today was my day to get my first one, at 20 years old. I got a sunflower and it took MAYBE 2 hours . Whether it was an early Christmas present for myself or a midlife crisis has yet to be determined. Either way, I couldn't be happier with my ink. Skin FX and Duffs came highly recommended. Having never done this before, I was a little apprehensive when I walked in. After just a few minutes the apprehension was gone.I had somewhat of an idea what I was looking for. When I explained what I had envisioned, it was just a few minutes before we had something figured out and ready to go. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly and it was a relatively painless process.Duffs did outstanding work and walked me through every step of the process. He gave me some great advice for follow up care and already has me thinking about getting another tat. I wish I would have gone here first for my first tattoo. I went to Dutch Touch like 2 years to get a simple cross and they didn't even sketch anything out or anything ang on top of all that they give me a NEW tattoo artist. So like 2 weeks ago I came to this place to fix the tattoo and I'mSo glad the guy was able to fix he asked what I was thinking about and honestly I was all like I'm not sure he gave me a few ideas unlike DUTCH TOUCH!  I wish I could Remember his name but I can't sorry. Absolutely awesome experience! Walked in a week beforehand just to check it out and honestly was not very impressed. But something about Rob, the owner, made me change my mind. This wasn't by no means my first tattoo, but either way, he made me feel more than comfortable and happy to be there. The other guy that was there during my appointment ( I can't remember his name) , was just as awesome as Rob. I only had a small piece done, but the whole time was as chill as if I was just hanging with friends. And Rob made SURE that my tattoo was in the exact right place and the exact right size . My friend has gotten work done here and they came out amazing. So I decided to give it a try for my next tattoo on my birthday. This turned out to be a horrible decision. My tattoo came out so bad I almost cried after seeing it. It was something so simple that I had wanted for a while. I am waiting to get it either fixed or most likely removed. The staff here have great personalities, so welcoming and professional. I called 3 different times to ask questions before coming in for my appt, & never heard an ounce of irritation in the voice. My mother & I brought in my sister to get her nose pierced for her 16th birthday. The staff made sure to see legal verification of age and relationship to guardian, good business practice. Our piercer, Mark, was so grounding w that calm voice & the ease of the task that comes w experience. He made sure to consult w my sister about if she intended on wearing a hoop, before he made his pen mark, to enable a comfortable fit for her jewelry. When it was my turn, I was a silly stress bundle, but he let me be myself. When it came down to it, he helped me focus and guided my breath. He repierced a closed up hole, and it looks perfect! Mark is an amazing tattoo artist. My boyfriend and I started coming to him and continue to do so. He's got a gentle hand and walks you through every detail! He even continuously makes sure your doing okay through out the tattoo process. I had work done in 2007, both a tatoo & piercings. It all is still in great shape. They were extremely accommodating. The owners wife even came in just to help me feel more comfortable while getting the piercings. because she is the one I had originally spoke to about them. The facility is always clean. The workers were all very friendly and helpful. They have a variety of services and great artwork available. The prices are very good as well. Very clean, friendly and professional place. Came here to get my belly button done almost ten years ago, my industrial nine years ago, my tragus six months ago, and most recently, my rook and double helix. Mark is a fantastic piercer. Getting my tragus done was very painful and a bit awkward, but he made it a more comfortable experience by guiding me through the process. Came here on my birthday! Friday the 13th. So they had a huge deal going on 13 dollars for piercings and 13 dollars for selected tattoos. Got a horrible tattoo from "skunk" or Andrew. I didn't want to be mean but I hate my tattoos plus he went for a smoke break in between and I didn't see him wash his hands at all. I got my daughter's name "Elizabeth" and it looks like it says "eligabeth" the stencle looked good but it turned out nothing like the stencle. And I got my husbands initials and it also looks bad. My buddy Tank invited me here a few times to get some work done but something kept coming up... I live a short distance away but still a decent drive. So I decided to come in, I was super nervous because my lower back tattoo was messed up by another artist years ago at another shop so since then I have been hesitant. Wonka was the artist who was going to do my little musical note heart tattoo I wanted, and the whole process was a smooth and comfortable one. I have never felt that content in a tattoo shop, plus he had a light hand so the tattoo didn't really hurt. I loved this shop and everyone in there I met made me smile in some way. Referred here by a friend as they were running a Veteran's Day special and my husband wanted a rather large, detailed piece completed so she knew this might save us a little money. My husband has been wanting this piece done for a few years now so we decided to head down and check out the shop and see what they had to offer. We looked up the reviews and portfolio's before hand and were pretty impressed with what we had seen. Joe took about an hour to hand draw up the design my husband was going for which turned out amazing and exactly as he had pictured it to be. 4.5 hours later, my husband has an amazing masterpiece on his bicep.
