Julianna is amazing! I got referred to her from a friend and I haven't been disappointed! We are currently working on correcting my forearm tattoo that is 5 years old from a different artist because my line work and coloring was horrendous, she explained that every person is different on how their skin takes ink and how different machines/speeds may work better for each individual. I really enjoyed the education and explanation of everything and happy to have found an artist that takes the time to notice what works for each individual, because everyone's skin is different and no one person heals the same. I had work done by someone else. So I went to overground tattoo to get it fixed. Julianna did a great job working on it. She has a really light hand that I didn't even feel any pain at all. She is really clean. She plastic wrap everything even her tablet. It's amazing how clean she is. Her work is out standing. My tattoo looks way better than the picture that I showed her. I had the worst experience because the owner Julianna canceled my appointment twice. So after that she hired a new guy and she told me that he will be doing my tattoo. The tattoo didn't came out like they told me. Most of the ink came off already. So I heard that the new guy Danny the guy who did my tattoo is not working there anymore. So I tried to get on hold of her she never answerd my calls. She never answer my text messages. Before i get my tattoo done. She used to reply within few minutes. They charge a lot. Julianna did mine and my dads shark week tattoos, she's amazing! After doing a lot of research and looking for a new artist I'm definitely glad I found her! I gotta say, best tattoo shop experience in a long time. I went to overground tattoo for the first time to get a tattoo with my wife for our anniversary. I have many tattoos so I wasn't worried but it was my wife's first!! I must say that overground tattoo was very very friendly and not judgmental at all. I've been to many other shops and right off the back they were for some reason rude! Why not sure . Anyways Juliana the owner was great with getting us  exactly what we needed. She set us up with her artist, first Maurice  who was very nice and did a great job. After a few weeks we needed a touch up due to we chose finger tattoos which we all know can be difficult. With no hesitation Juliana got us back in with her other artist Adrian. Juliana is pretty much the best tattoo artist! I scheduled with Julianna to get my first tattoo. I was pretty nervous since I HATE needles and the overall anxiety of never having gotten a tattoo in the first place. She is not only an amazing artist with out of this world talent but an amazing person at distracting and working efficiently and quickly (but not to be misunderstood as sloppy). The parlor itself is clean and not intimidating. You'd be an idiot to not go to Julianna or to this parlor to get your first tattoo or next tattoo to come. First of all, I've never received a tattoo from here. I was but I got canceled on last second by Ben . It was ridiculously hard arranging a time and day to meet to get my deposit back since I live 70 miles away, and he was difficult to reach at times or would only make himself available on a weekend when I can't travel to get my 20$ deposit. Anyways besides all the drama and unprofessionalism he displayed I am ONLY rating 4 stars because of Julianna. I was so thankful that she was very kind and understanding.  Very professional and helpful in this stressful situation I was in. Let's just say, whatever field you work in, customer service and kindness means everything to your customers and goes a long ways . I was never planning on returning because of my experience with Ben, but Julianna made me feel reassured. If I ever did return to overground I'd book Julianna in a heartbeat. If she was busy id take a recommendation from her at her shop or even wait for weeks.I would like to rate 5 stars but i cant because one ove never gotten work done , only seen pictures , and i dont aprove of Bens attitude or customer service with his clients. They are rude to walk ins and did not tell me that it was by appointments. I went in on Valentine's day for the $14 tatts they advertised and the artist wasnt going to be in til 2 pm so I went back at 5:30 pm and asked I about them when I walked in and they all looked around at each other and hen one said they werent doing them. I had my eyebrows tattooed couple years ago really like the place I made an appointment for today with Ben he was not there when I got there at my appointment time I tried calling no answer I waited 30 minutes no show then I get a message asking why I left . If I could do zero stars I would! Not sure about the rest of the people but my review is for (terrible) tattoo artist Justin slugger.  I went to get a tattoo from him and just wanted a simple script done on my ribs I thought it would be something easy so I wouldn't have a messed up tattoo and I was so wrong! He charged me 350 dollars for two super small sentences and the script is terrible the lines are shaky and most of the tattoo is fading and chunks of ink fell out a few hours after I left the shop I went back later to have it atleast touched up or fixed and he was gone I found this shop and he demanded I pay more than double for him to fix the tattoo he so terribly applied! Awful customer service and awful tattoo application he's a horrible artist and lots of my friends mistakenly got tattoos from him that are now fading (after only a year) and also line quality is like a 4 year old did it. Highly recommend not going to this awful artist he's a scam artist not a tattoo artist stay away! Read Less

I came here to get tattooed by Julianna. I'm actually friends with her and she is rad AF. She's super funny and sweet. She doesn't get offended or shocked easily so you can roll up and say the craziest shit or ask for the craziest tattoo and she won't be judgmental or surprised. She does not tattoo penises though, I had to ask. Sorry boys. Although Julianna is down to earth and jokes around a lot, she is professional and takes tattooing seriously. She was incredibly patient with me when I was choosing a font and made so many suggestions in regards to my piece that I didn't even think of.This shop does not offer piercings and she goes by appointment only. I prefer this type of setting because you won't see creepers and tweakers hanging out in here. The shop is clean compared to other shops in that area. I had a rough draft and wanted her to round it out a bit, which she did to perfection. I was very pleased with her work and everything about her was very professional. When I decided it was time for some more work, I again called. Juliana was not able to do the work this time but I had the opportunity to work with Chris, and found him extremely professional and caring as well. I went in with my girlfriend looking to get inked, Chris sellers was the my artist with out hesitation he asked what we wanted since we didn't have appointments we just walked in and he still was able to ink us both, I had a great experience this was my second tattoo from Chris and my girlfriends first and she said that she's only coming to him now, he has a great eye for ink, I came with a pic and he tweaked it to make it more "me" so that only I have this tattoo, both my girlfriend and I tats turned out amazing, he is by far the best! Was really looking forward to getting a tattoo that meant a lot to me, but it didn't exactly come out the way that I wanted to. Let me rewind to my pre appointment experience: I bought a voucher from Living Social, and when I called, the lady was very nice on the phone, and got me into an appointment within two weeks, which is good, considering I had a 'coupon'. When I went in, the guy at the front desk was very antisocial and didn't really greet me, which was weird because the lady that I talked to was so nice. My tattoo artist Chris, however, was very nice which you don't get a lot of from tattoo artists. I bought the $45 dollars for a one hour session, but my tattoo was so simple that it only took about 10 minutes. I felt like it was a little rushed, and with 50 minutes left over, I felt like I wasted my money and he didn't ask if I wanted something else done to use up the time. The voucher also came with tattoo wax and it was never offered to me. Chris told me that if I had any issues with my tattoo, I could call to get it fixed... I noted that in my head. Even though it was a quick tattoo, it seemed like it looked perfect. As it healed, however, there were many imperfections as the lines on my cross weren't straight and some areas were lighter than others. Remembering that he said I could call to get it fixed, I called and the same lady answers the phone, however, when I told her I had an issue with my tattoo, it seems she was pretty annoyed. When I talked to Chris, he sounded pretty annoyed as well, and seemed a little too busy to schedule another appointment, as our schedules wouldn't match up, so I gave up. I'm just going to get it covered up because instead of being a tattoo that meant a lot to me, it's imperfect so I'm not really feeling it anymore. I'd much rather go somewhere else that'll actually take their time giving me a tattoo and use up the whole hour, or at least offer me something else to get my moneys worth, even if I bought it with a coupon. The only reason why I'm giving 3 stars is because everyone was nice (except for the receptionist when I walked it) and it was extremely clean. Read Less

I've had a few other tattoo artists, and Ms. Justo is hands down not only the most professional I've encountered, but innately the most talented as well... it's crazy how fast she can whip some stuff up! Aside from that, I've been to other places that places that run you through a gauntlet for weeks or months before you ever even see the chair... here  the focus is on your *tattoo*. The shop is bright, clean, and definitely the most welcoming I've been to! What I love most about her is that she gets straight to the point and does EXCELLENT work in an amazingly short amount of time-- She doesn't take longer or try to modify your piece just to get more money out of you.
