I wish I got them names of the two people who helped me today, so I could give them full recognition. But My family and I had such a wonderful experience. I came in with about 8 people, and 5 of us got nose piercings. The staff was SUPER friendly and funny! My family and I felt really comfortable and welcomed. Erica is amazing, I've been going to her for years now. Every piercing I've had she has done them. I've never had problems with any of the piercings, as long as you follow the care instructions she gives you, you'll avoid infections. And I have never had an infection with the piercings she has done.The place is clean and sterile and so are the tools Erica uses.Erica is calm, professional, and encouraging. I went in for an ear piercing, having called first to make sure they would pierce my daughter's ears. When I arrived, the woman who greeted us had a terrible attitude. Her disposition was as though everything in life sucked. I was worried when she said, "I don't like piercing but I'll do it anyhow." I only continued on behalf of my daughter and a promise I made to her. My girl was quiet, polite, sat still and didn't cry. The piercer was such a drag. I don't recommend going there. I can only offer a description of our piercer, heavy set with dark hair. She also pressured me into giving her a tip, which she totally didn't deserve. Find a better place, please! I've had many of my own piercings done and it should be a pleasant experience. The piercer should talk you through the procedure and care (which ours did not. It took me forever to find the right piercer and I'm glad I found her here! I only go to Erica and she's been amazing. I have a lot of piercings so I'm really particular but Erica actually cares about her work and customers and I respect that. Shes also very clean with her station which is important ! I suffer from migraines and am able to take medication but sometimes the medication doesn't work. So I figured I would try to get my daith pierced. I figured if it works great! And if it doesn't have a cute  piercing. My friend went with me and got her reversed helix pierced. Erica was super great!  She was very knowledgeable and very clean.At the top of my piercing I had a migraine which I have been suffering from for two days and was maxed out on medication. At this point I was willing and ready to try every thing! Within about 20 minutes after my piercing my migraine went to a dull head ache. After about 40 minutes after my piercing my migraine away! I know it doesn't work for everyone, but it worked for me. After my left ear heals I will be back to do my right. Erica is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone. I had my ear pierced yesterday by Erica and she was so fast and good. She is very knowledgable. Even after the service I got couple more  questions, I just called and she answered.  I wish I knew about her when I got my belly button pierced at a different  place few years ago which was painful and slow. I almost fainted. My fiend also got her belly button pierced for the first time. She was nervous but Erica put her at ease. I had been looking for a piercing parlor for a while. I found many with good ratings on yelp. I basically sat on getting my nip pierced for a while cuz i was scared and confused on where to go until a friend recommended EC tattoo. I read the reviews and felt so nervous because it seemed 50/50 with good and bad. I went in to get one nip pierced and Ericka was sooo freaking good and fast!!! She comes across as a bad ass, kinda tuff but dont confuse that with a bad attitude. She was great and i would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional piercer.. The best place in east county for tattoos, there are other shops in the area but they don't compare. My artist Isaac is amazing, the details he puts into his work and his soft hand makes getting tattooed awesome. He has awards lining his shelf from all the convention competitions he has won. He's quiet but he's not like the other artist in other shops who are inappropriate or crosses the line. This is the cleanest shop and they sell awesome body jewelry and have a lot of different types of jewelry. You get what you pay for and Isaac is worth way more then he is charges. Read Less

Soooooo Mike was my tattoo artist. He pretty much is everything you could ever look for in a tattoo artist. First things first, when I walked in I met the manager of the shop first.. He asked me what I was thinking about getting and I explained and he said "let me get you mikey" aka Mike I really like that he didn't just take me to make money off me like most places I have been.. He wanted me to get the best tattoo possible.Anyways getting back to Mike... He did the most amazing tattoo I have. It's kinda like when you get married... And you wish you had never dated anyone else before that... Well, Mike and I are tattoo married now. All my other tattoos just don't cut it for me anymore (sad to say)He is also very clean ... When he sneezed he went and washed his hands. He changed his gloves if he even thought he touched something that could have contaminated them. He likes fishing and pugs .. So if you want him to talk to you at first make sure you read up on these subjects... Also do not drink a lot of rockstar before you get tattooed by him .. Pee breaks are not so much his thing!Ok I'm done ranting.. I loved everything about my experience and he has a return customer for life.Also anyone wondering if you're supposed to tip a tattoo artist. I wanted to wait until my ink was done,  before i posted a review, so here it is. ......  This is by far the cleanest shop ive been in,  with a great selection of body jewelry,  and talented artists.  When i moved back to san diego,  one of the forest things i did was begin looking for a tattoo artist.  For the better part of 10 years,  i could not find an artist who would 1) finish a tattoo that was 1/3 done, and 2) had a portfolio that i was impressed with.   A few shops were recommended,  ec tattoo being one of them.   It was here that i flipped through some books,  and decided to talk to Isaac......  He took one look at my unfinished leg,  we bounced some ideas,  and 6 weeks later it was done and looking great. ....  Immediately after the leg,  i made plans to get my sleeve done,  after putting it off while my leg was unfinished. .....  1 thing at a time, so to speak.   I gave Isaac a few things i wanted in the piece and let him run with it. .....  it took about 3 months to finish,  but his artwork,  concept,  design,  and execution are top notch.  He is all buisness,  and very attentive,  a real professional,  and when it comes time for my second sleeve and other work,  i know exactly who im going to.
