I just got the industrial piercing and the owner was super cool about it. I was so nervous and scared and it was done fast and with finesse. It's been years ars since I was here but thought I'd add my two cents. I went when they were at the old location. Had multiple piercings from Seth, he rocks! Kind guy, knowledgeable, and made you feel comfortable (had nipples and back dermals done at separate times). My sister is looking to get my nieces ears pieced soon and I will definitely be recommending him.Had a couple of tattoos done here, one on my lower back, one on my wrist and one on my forearm. I don't remember who did the wrist or back but Jeremy did my forearm. Had a bad vibe from him, so definitely remember his name. I asked for his opinion and got "no you tell me" response. I didn't want him to choose for me just wanted to know what he thought. Seeing another review he was fairly new around the time so that may have contributed to the awkwardness. First choice gone wrong. I went in not to long ago and had a big group of my family go to get they're piercings and tattoos done. The man at the front desk asked lots of questions assuming we were all faking our identity, after showing him out birth certificates and IDs. He had us spell our names and state our horoscopes and then say the color. He integrated us for about 10 mins then when my family began to get frustrated and said we'd go somewhere else he stopped and changed up very fast. ... after getting my nose pierced I got an infection and went to a different nose piercing shop where they told my sister they used a wrong piercing for one of my sisters ears. I have a couple of cartilage ear piercings that are tucked way inside my ear, and I had to take them out for an x-ray. Couldn't get the little closing balls back in. Rob was awesome and put them back in really quickly and was just an all-around great guy I really appreciated him doing it so quickly so I didn't have to worry about my jewelry falling out anymore.Years ago I got 2 tattoos done by Dutch and everyone at the shop was really awesome. We showed him a picture of what we wanted done and he suggested to fix the sloppy writing it had and made it look perfect! I definitely would not recommend this shop at all. They have the worst customer service. I went in to get a quote on an arm sleeve tattoo. Everybody in the shop recommended Lee for the all black and white sleeve. I talked to him and gave him my ideas of what I wanted and even gave him some pictures for a reference. He said it would be a $100.00 deposit for that large of a piece so I paid it and he said he would call me to come in and check  out the drawing in about a week. After a week I heard nothing so stopped back by the shop. He said he hadn't had a Vance to completely finish it and told me to give him another week. Another week goes by and yet again I hear nothing from him so I stop in again. This time he shows me half of the drawing he has done and said he would finish the rest up in a few days. Yet again I don't hear anything after 3 days so I went back in again and he said he had been busy and to give him more time. The last time I was in there he blew me off to talk to 2 other customers that came in after me and generally just ignored me and acted like I was just bothering him. So I'm in the process now of trying to get my deposit back without any luck so far and looking for another artist. This shop has the worst customer service. Yesterday I went in for the Friday the 13th deal. It was VERY busy as expected. I sat and watched Dutch and his staff work constantly for hours with very little food and a great attitude. Came here for a piercing, called ahead and staff notified their piercer. Got here right after work and within 15 minutes walked out with a great industrial piercing. Seth is awesome. Personable, considerate, and careful. Currently has 16 years of experience with piercing and I will definitely come back to him. I went here to get my septum piercing and they were very nice, funny, and helpful. I called at around 10:45pm. The piercer was supposed to leave at 11pm and i asked if they could possibly wait an extra 15 minutes because the piercer was going to be leaving. They were so nice and they actually waited half an hour for me to get there! They were very friendly and the guy who did my piercing was very informative. Tragus Pierced by Seth: Here it goes.. Seth was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY. The process was easy, fast and affordable. The next 11 months I spent following every regimen online on how to get rid of my tragus infection. I had went to a popular piercing place in SD to get another piercing because I didn't like the quality of the jewelry. At this new place I was informed that I was pierced the wrong way. He explained to me that it was pierced by an angle and the curved barbell they used shouldn't even be used for tragus. He removed the entire piercing and advised me to let it heal. I get it, it happens you pierce the wrong way whatever but don't allow the customer to walk out with an angled tragus piercing. I wouldn't recommend this place for piercings. I've gotten two tattoos here. There are both small but exactly what I wanted none less. Lee was able to do both of them with me walking in each time. He was fast and friendly! Definitely recommend him. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because on Friday the 13th I had gotten my nose pierced, although the guy who did it was always very friendly and made me feel comfortable, i recently had to take it out because it never fully healed and ALWAYS got infected because it never healed even after almost a year. I would not recommend getting anything done on friday the 13th just because they are in such high demand and it's go go go so you don't get the proper experience. Also, side note, I got my belly button pierced here 4 years ago (not on friday the 13th) and it's still in and I love it. I got an ear piercing here that became infected and has not cleared up since October. The guy that did my piercing completely mauled my ear. I got a little triangle of earrings on my lobe, and after he pierced the first two he completely massacred the third one. He pulled the needle in and out of my ear three times (at one point, he got my hair stuck in the hole {it was pulled back in a ponytail} and had to take the needle out and pull the hair out), couldn't get the earring in with the forceps and had to use his hand, and then told me that I must have been drinking too much the night before (I hadn't had a drink all week) because I was bleeding so much. I just took the earrings out this week because my ear is still red, swollen, itchy, warm to touch, and pussy/bleeding. I followed the aftercare instructions exactly as they gave them to me, and the hole that is giving me the most trouble is the one he repierced multiple times. I would not recommend coming here, unless you enjoy dealing with infections. Read Less

Our family wanted to do matching tattoo's and our daughter recommended Dutch.  We walked in and the lady at the front desk said they were busy but would call us back.  Lee called us back a few hours later.  We arrived and he helped design the 2 different tattoos we wanted.  I have never had one and Lee knew I was kind of freaking out.  He was fast, it's beautiful and he was really fun!  My husband had his done by Dutch and also was really happy and enjoyed the conversation.  Our daughter went back the next day and Lee did another beautiful job on her matching tattoo!  I would recommend this place to everyone.  The vibe in the shop is fun and everyone in there is happy to be there.  Some big pieces were being done around us, clearly these are professionals artist that enjoy their job! I called in later in the night to get some piercings and they were very friendly on the phone and very friendly in the shop. Dutch was a super nice guy and helped make my experience quick, easy, and enjoyable. --The only thing I can say is that he did recommend cleaning my piercings and punctures with bactine, whom's website says to not apply it to puncture wounds. If could give zero stars I would.Went in to Dutch to talk to Lee Last Sunday (March 26th) exactly a week ago. Talked to him about the tattoo I want, price, schedule to when we are both free. Seems like it was going to be a great thing...Made an appointment for today (April 2nd) put a deposit down and everything.He told me to text him on Friday (March 31st) to remind him about our appointment. I texted him on Friday to remind him, asked about the sketch and no reply. Texted him yesterday on Saturday (April 1st) and again no reply. So again I texted him today , the day I'm supposed to be getting my tattoo done and again NO reply. So stay away from this place. Not professional at all. I stopped by this shop last night and I met Dutch. I told him what I wanted. It was Disney and pretty crazy but he didn't make me feel that way. He asked if I could wait for Kara to finish up because he thought she would be the right artist. So Kara and I talked and she is amazing. She seems to be excited about doing the piece as much as I am about having it done. I'm giving Dutch Touch 3 stars because I haven't had my work done but their professionalism and customer service ...was on top. I have an appointment to go back on the 20th and Kara is gonna do my piece. I'm sure I will be changing it to a 5 star rating as soon as I'm done. I also saw the piece Kara was finishing and it was a beautiful shaded rose. I haven't had any new ink in about 5 years and I'm really picky about my artist and the shop. If it doesn't look nice and I don't mesh with the artist I'm out. That is NOT the case with this shop. It is very clean and they don't look like a bunch of ex-cons and gangsters running a shop (not that some ex-cons aren't fantastic artist.) So if you are looking to get some ink this shop is for sure worth the time to stop in and check out their staff. Thanks Dutch and Kara. See ya'll soon! Update: Tattoo is almost complete. Gotta add in just a little bit more color. As far as the experience goes it was probably the most pleasant tattoo I've ever sat through. Kara was excellent. When I came in the piece was drawn up perfect. So once we started it was not the annoying feel of a tattoo. I've never had much pain from getting inked but it does get obnoxious after a while. I never felt like that with Kara. She has a light hand and doesn't just absolutely drill your skin. My tattoo is gorgeous. I can't wait to get the color added. It's just the first couple of hours and I have cleaned it. The covering didn't have any plasma or ink on it. When I washed it it almost felt like a healed tat other than the slight raise on my skin. For my first tattoo I wasn't to happy with this place. It wasn't what I expected or the experiences other ppl told they had at other tattoo shops. I went in there wanting a specific tattoo on the right hand side infinity hearts with a cross in it and all the guys in there told me is that their not a let's do it cuz of where it's being placed. In all honesty they didn't even try to sketch it out or anything all i heard was no we can't do that. So I just had them do a simple cross. But I believe if ur a great tattoo Artist ur able to make it work but it's ok I went to a different place n their able to add the infinity symbol and other stuff with the size I was comfortable with because the sketch it out n worked on it.this place made me feel uncomfortable and not all tried to sketch out what I wanted :/ I gave them 2 stars cuz they did ok on my cross only. I wish I didn't have to give this review but here goes....I've been to Dutch Touch before and have gotten 2 tattoos done by Dutch himself. He did such a great job that I went back looking for him for a few more tats. I went in 2 times and didn't find him. I guess both times were his day off. So I waited a week and decided to call. He was in. So I went in and Dutch was there tattooing a lady. I asked if I could speak with him. I walk up to him to ask about a day he wasn't busy and if he could do a filler for my sleeve. He said Sunday would be the best day to do so at 4pm, mind you it was Friday. I said great. He told me to text him what I wanted. I did so when I got home later on along with a pic of something similar I wanted for my filler.Saturday came and went.Sunday... I was super excited to get my tattoo done finally. Something however, told me to call before I went in. Like my gut had suspected, he was busy and said to call around 6pm and he'd let me know. Mind you, he told me Friday, Sunday at 4pm. I call about 6:30 and he didn't answer. So I texted him. No response whatsoever. To this day.It's really sad. I thought I found a tattoo artist for life but unfortunately, the customer service part isn't anywhere to be found. Customer service should always be number one. Without customers, how would you survive. I would recommend this place to people because of the quality of work, but I would never recommend this place to anyone because of the way they treat you. This was my first time here getting tattooed (previously got work done in North County). A friend of mine from school came 2 years ago for the Friday the 13th tattoo special they had, so I figured it was my turn since I've been looking for a new place since moving to East County.I waited 2 hours for my turn and I'm glad I didn't leave (which I almost did because I was so tired).
