If you're looking for a great tattoo artist.. JOETATTCRUZ is def. your man!! His work is undeniable. Just take a peak at his social media. I constantly get compliments on a portrait Joe did on my forearm.. it even turns heads. "That is quality work" or "your artist did a really great job" are the two most popular comments I get about my portrait. Then everyone always ask who did it and where I got it. On top of his skills, he's also a down to earth person. Never makes you feel awkward or uncomfortable while you're getting tatted. He'll carry on a conversation with you.. which helps pass time and distracts you from the needle. Recently I got a Back to the Future tattoo from him and he even played the movie on the TV for me to watch while I was getting tatted. Got my first tattoo today and the experience was seriously amazing! It did not hurt at all, just stung a bit. Steven was my artist and he was incredible, definitely going to recommend him to everyone I know. I will for sure be back to this shop when I want to get another tattoo! This place is the worst. I went in to get a few finger tattoos just a few words on my fingers. The first thing was Steven cancelled out first appointment bc he double booked. Second when I finally got my tattoo done I felt light headed which is normal but but the so called manager Noni scolded me and told me I should have ate something before but never said anything previously. Third he forgot to dot the 'i' and cross the 't' but I couldn't tell until after bc my hands were covered with ink. Fourth, when I wanted my free touch up the manger said i couldn't have an evening appointment because they were reserved for paying tattoos, not the free touch ups. Bottem line i could not make a morning appt so they wanted to charge me $60 for a free touch up on an incomplete tattoo. Worst place ever. Read Less

I work in the Monrovia area and was looking to get a third hole pierced . Found out about this spot by a friend and wanted to give it a try. Came in and was pleasantly surprised by how incredible the inside was designed . Gives a completely different feel then any other tattoo shop I had ever been to. Noni was able to make me feel comfortable and walked me through the steps before she went in to pierce my ear. She was quick and efficient.
