I was really disappointed with Steve. I had originally gone in to get a cover up. I gave him a $50 deposit for him to draw it out, and had set an appointment to get matching tattoos with my friend for another day. Later that week I was on my way to go see my drawing, when he calls me and tells me it's going to take a few hours for him to draw it out. I was really frustrated because he could have let me know a day or two before. Since my schedule is really tight, and I could have gone to work earlier since the drawing wasn't ready. I told him not to draw it out anymore, and to keep the $50 towards the tattoo I was getting on Sunday (yesterday) with my friend for our matching tattoos. I wanted to give him a chance to tattoo me and see if I liked it. I would let him do my cover up. But it was just awkward it seemed like he didn't want to do my tattoo, he didn't make me feel comfortable. He was just blunt and whatever about it. I wanted a pink and black tattoo. And where I wanted black, he put pink and where I wanted pink he put black. I couldn't believe he did that and he never even apologized. So I had to end up getting it all black. And when he was working on me I could just hear him laughing watching impractical jokers on the TV. I think that's why he messed up, he wasn't paying attention or he did it on purpose cause maybe he was mad about the whole cover up drawing thing. I feel like I shouldn't have paid, or at least 50 percent off or something! I know I will never go back to him. And when he was working on my friend, he would stop and stare at the tv! I got my nose pierced here back in May. I love my nose piercing! Nikki did an amazing job and she was very quick. The pain was very minimal. I just felt a quick prick and my eyes watered but as soon as she was done, it was like nothing happened. There was hardly any redness, and the healing was smooth. My only complaint is the lady at the front was quite rude and rushing. She is not personable at all and not really friendly. I kinda felt like walking out but again, she was rushing me. I'm not sure why, since I was the only person there to get pierced.  But honestly, Nikki made up for the bad customer service from that one lady. Read Less

The pain for me was a 3/10 it was a pinch for a few seconds and then it goes away. I have a high pain tolerance. My eyes did water, but that's normal. Nikki was very quick, very professional. Came here a few days ago for a spontaneous tattoo. The people there were friendly and we were immediately helped by Brian Vu. I gave him a quote design that I drew up real quick the night before, and he helped revised it a bit.Brian was really careful with the placement of the tattoo. *Came in with a friend who received a tattoo. I did not get a tattoo or piercing but I was closely involved with the entire experience, including paying for the tattoo--LOCATION-- Second floor of a plaza; above the bakery and meat deli--PARKING-- big plaza parking lot--SERVICE-- I think our tattoo artist's name was Brian! He was really patient, meticulous, and accommodating. Brian was really easy to talk to and answered all my little questions. We came in at 2 PM and didn't leave until 4:30 PM. --EXPERIENCE-- Brian printed out the tattoo that my friend wanted in several different sizes. From there, we chose location and appropriate size of the tattoo. My friend's tattoo was of a script that ran along his left pecs/chest. Before tattooing, his pecs were shaved and sanitized. Brian did a really good job being clean and thorough. He then would set the stencil on my friend. It took a couple tries but it was finally set even (not slanted) and positioned right. My friend wanted a second line of script tattooed underneath the first (so my friend had 2 sessions in 1 visit essentially). Brian was awesome and gave great advice when we made the decision. He helped us choose the right size, format, and placement. He mentioned that smaller script (in my friend's case) may not turn up very clearly. So that ultimately lead to our final decisions. Once the tattoo was done, Brian cleaned up my friend and gave care instructions. He also mentioned that if there was something wrong with the tattoo (although *fingers crossed* there won't be), my friend can come in and have it retouched, free of charge!--PRICE-- For my friend's tattoo, it costed us $80. I didn't know this until I asked Brian, but pricing is time-based. For about an hour's worth of tattooing, it came out to be $80. --PARLOR-- There's 2 big TV's and 3 comfy couches! You can sit behind the bar and watch the artist tattoo if you're a spectator, too. There's one bathroom that was well maintained (your mirror is paced a little too high haha). The general tattooing space is open, but there are private rooms, as well. There's mirrors, too. It's definitely a well kept place.--OVERALL-- I felt very confident in our tattoo artist and really appreciated his work. Really nice to work with. As a spectator, I felt comfortable in the space, and I would come here or recommend this place to others knowing their quality of services. Read Less

Called asking if they were busy today to get a tattoo, was told there was one artist available so I said I'd be there in 30 mins. I got there a bit early so I was directed to the artist and he said a walk in came in and the wait would be an hour and a half. Why I wasnt I told that on the phone I don't know. I asked the girl and she claims I asked to "talk" about a tattoo, WHY would I drive out to talk about it?! No, I wanted to GET the tattoo, that's why I asked if they were busy. I have 9 piercings total, I have had my nose pieced 4 different times, & she is the only person to have pierced it and it not get infected or a keloid, it healed perfectly and quickly! I've been coming to Nikki (the piercer) since 2014 for piercings! I've gotten three helix piercings and my nostril done, and all 4 have healed without any complications other than me messing around with the fresh piercings and them getting irritated, but that's my own fault. The piercing process is super quick; it takes less than 20 minutes to get in and out with 2 piercings sometimes! Nikki is very straightforward and efficient. She's blunt, but not rude, and doesn't make you sit in the chair idly and get all nervous to the point where you waste all your adrenaline! Oh, and she only uses needles, nooo piercing guns.I've brought/referred about 15 friends to Corona Tattoo & Piercing in the past 3-ish years to get their lobes and various other ear parts pierced here, and I haven't heard of any of them getting infected or rejecting. On an important side note, shop is SUPER clean and actually smells fantastic IMO. I love whatever antiseptic or air freshener they use. Even the bathroom smells great????I'll definitely continue to bring friends here, especially with the $30 for both lobe piercings, 2 for $40 helix and nostril, and 2 for $50 septum, lip, & belly! Walked in yesterday with my 7474848383747 daughters, with the need to have my 5 month old daughter's ears pierced. I was met by Nikki (not sure if I spelled that correctly) and she walked me to the back which is where the piercing was done. Aside from a few hiccups with one of my other daughters (not the shop's fault) all went well, and as of today, my 5 month old doesn't appear to have any soreness, and is acting as if nothing ever happened the day prior.Everyone at the shop was professional and helpful, and the cleanliness was second to none. I came in to buy jewelry, simply an 18g CBR for my ear lobe piercing. The staff were all polite and welcoming, but my experience after my purchase was terrible. Nikki didn't give me a real CBR, but an imitation one that squeezed open and closed. I should have insisted on an actual CBR like I asked for, but I made the mistake of trusting her judgement. She put the jewelry in for me and gave me her card before I left. Of course, as soon as I got home, the ring slid in my ear, and the piercing managed to close in the gap between the fake "bead" and the other end of the loop. I took my daughter to get her ears pierced here. She has a dimple from the bottom of her ear going up so no other place wanted to pierce her ears. Nikki was able to pierce a little higher up as patiently worked with my crying 3 year old. Great work and wonderful staff! Read Less

I agree with the person complaining about the lady with the attitude. Was taking my daughter to have her first piecing on her birthday . Our first impression was HORRIBLE !!!! Extremely uneducated lady was the one to greet us . I wonder how much bussines they have lost simply because of her attitude and there lack of customer service. Stiffy was by far the best piercer I've ever been to.. I got my belly button pierced about 2 months ago here and I had no pain at all. I didn't even feel the needle go through! As soon as I walked in Corona Tattoo, I felt comfortable. The staff was friendly, humorous, and made me feel at ease. I have never experienced this from any tattoo shop.
