She is gentle on your skin (least painful tattoo i've gotten) and she was willing to replace and resize on my body numerous times. She really cares about her customers and want them to be happy. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Savanna is an extremely talented artist. I found her portfolio on Instagram, and in a matter of seconds I knew she was the artist for me. I came in for a consultation, and she was very patient and understanding of how I wanted my tattoo designed. We got the appointment booked for a couple weeks out. She sent me a draft of the design and it was everything and more of what I wanted. The day of the appointment I was a bit apprehensive and nervous, but she has a very calming aura. She made sure it was placed just right, and that I was comfortable the entire time she was working on me. My tattoo came out so beautifully- I can't even describe how stunning it makes me feel! I will never go to another artist now that I have found Savanna! Also- the shop is very clean, and it was nice that there was parking right out front. They had music playing, and it's always good having some background noise when you're getting inked. Mark does incredible photo realism, scripts and intricate details work. Ragin is the Go to woman for mind blowing color work . Been going to the shop since the grand opening and will never go any where else. I use to go to Diablo ink and they destroyed my side peice and silver needles has never disappointed me. This location is amazing. Saddly in my time I've come across Indviduals who wernt professional, honest about their capabilities and did not have a good skill set. Today I came in, after calling to see if they had time for a walk in. The sir who answered the phone was super sweet and told me to come right down. The artist who worked on me today was Regina, she was very awesome. Asked a ton of questions, my dislikes vs likes for my tattoo . She helped me choose a final result based on area of tattoo, size, color and format. Explained everything very well and got to work. I absolutely love how it came out !!! Ask for savannah if you want fine line work! She was great!! Easy to talk to (we vibed pretty well) and took the time to understand what I wanted my tattoo to look like. Heads up, this place is loud and boisterous! Not family friendly but still a great local tattoo shop that covers every style of tattoo. Try them out!! Read Less

I'm not used to writing 5 star reviews...omg this is gonna be tough on me.I did 2 sessions with Reggie. She told me straight up how much it would cost and actually stuck to that price. I mean really...who does that without trying to jack up the price? Then she had the nerve to actually show up to the appointments on time and call to confirm and work around my schedule. Tattoo artists are supposed to be a gypsy bunch that you can't get a hold of after they do the first session!Now for the quality of the work. It's really getting irritating hearing people talk about how great the lines are and how awesome it looks. Then she sat there and to listened to me talk about my baby the whole time and actually carried on a conversation while working.Seriously, if you want that kind of experience...I guess these guys are pretty good at it.Oh yeah...my tattoo is dope af. For a few years now I've seen tattoos that were done by the artists from this shop and I finally decided to get one myself. I got a very simple tattoo but the artist Mark who did my tatoo did an excellent job. My tattoo is healing great, and the color and design of my tatoo came out exactly the way I wanted it to.I will definitely be going back for another tattoo and recommending this shop if anyone should ask. I went here last year for my first tattoo for my 18th birthday and everyone was so welcoming. They whole crew here is hilarious, creative, and helpful. They all made me not feel nervous at all. It was beyond clean and kept up inside which I was paying attention to in all places I checked out. I had Mark do my tattoo because I had family who recommended him and man did he go more than an amazing job. All I did was tell him I wanted a bull head and gave him a picture of it and gave him the script and quote that I wanted and he did the rest of the creativity. This review is for Savanna! I really feel like she took the time to listen to what I wanted & needed. I haven't had the greatest experiences with other tattoo shops and I've never been back to the same person. Most of the artists I've encountered elsewhere have been rude in some way or made me feel rushed. I LOVE Savanna and I'll definitely be back. She did 4 small tattoos for me & I love each one. She's an incredible artist. The shop itself is conveniently located for me, and feels really clean. ..The only minor complaint I have is regarding the shop.. they need larger mirrors & MORE of them. I had to either walk to the back or look through a tiny handheld mirror (they all have the same kind) every time I wanted to check the placement, and it was kind of annoying. I was out to breakfast at the Sugar Plum Café and saw a guys arm with a gorgeous tattoo done in black n gray, so I asked him where he had it done, Silver Needle Tattoo by Marc Sanchez. So I went down told him what I wanted and the next day got my hummingbird tattoo done. He is awesome! I am going back for another bird and am having a few others fixed. My son is having his first tattoo done my Marc and so will my husband. My daughter will also be getting another one done by him as well. From what Ive seen there is some great talent in this shop. This is for BRYAN. I first contacted the shop after googling shops in the area, checked out they web page then Facebook and photos of the work down. I have a 20 year old all black tattoo that I was looking to cover and had been told it couldn't be done or at the very least it would look horrible. Silver Needle didn't think that was the case. I sent a pic via Facebook to which I got an immediate response from Tina that she would share with the artists and see what they could come up with. Well, I heard back just a few hours later that Bryan was up for the challenge. I stopped by the studio, found that he was available and we started with a consult. Looked at some ideas I brought with me then expanded upon then and he helped me to fine the perfect cover up that would 1)do the job 2)fit my personality and style  and 3) would look fabulous as the work I chose was and is what he specializes in! This was my lucky day! So, the process started and at the end of the night the past and my not so pretty or feminine Raider Shield (still a fan just not a fan of the shitty work that was there for 20 yrs) was replaced by the most beautiful Japanese Chrysanthemum. If you're looking for a professional who knows what he's doing, is a master with color and does amazing work especially Japanese works then PLEASE GO SEE BRYAN!!! I just got a tattoo done here earlier today and I think the overall experience was awesome, but there was one issue that made me take a star off of this review.Someone answered the phone when I called in to ask if I needed an appointment or not. They said that one of their artists was free and if I dropped in I'd get started quickly, but when I got there all of the tattoo artists were busy and I had to wait a little over 4 hours - not something I was okay with. I was pretty pissed, but to be honest it wasn't that bad of a wait: the waiting area they have is super comfy and clean, there's a pretty good filipino food/snack store right next door. I had brought a sketch book and art supplies, so I was content, but if I hadn't it would've been a lot more of a hassle (I'm incredibly impatient).However, when I got to the tattoo artist (Shaugn) he was kind, calm and took my art right away. Within ten minutes I was seated in a very clean chair and resting my arm on a saran wrapped arm rest, comfortable and ready if not a bit nervous. I'm 19 and this is my third tattoo but it was my first professional one (tip: don't let exes with tattoo guns tatt you without any license, it ends up pretty badly), and I didn't really know what to expect. It was probably the best painful situation I've ever been in (lol that sounds a little weird) and it took about 30-40 minutes total, but Shaugn was careful and the process barely hurt. More like a mild annoyance, really. We chatted and some of the other workers sang loudly (and not too badly) to songs on the radio, joking with each other, seemed like a big family and it put me at ease. The tattoo came out perfect! Just the way I had imagined it in my mind when I decided on the design, and I'm really happy with the way it looks. In total it cost $120, which was what I was expecting - custom work, 6 different colors, 30-40 minutes, so the price seemed fair to me.So, to sum it up:Wait time? Sucks, but it might've just been the time and day (2pm on a Monday)Atmosphere? Comfy, relaxedCleanliness? Perfect. Price? A little pricy, but c'mon, their tattoos.People? Friendly, kind.Tattoo? Best I've had (though it is my first professional time) I'm actually kind of relieved, since this was a first time and I kind of took a gamble, but it paid off in the end. The art is line for line and color for color what I wanted, something that I think can be hard to do with such a small tattoo.Do I recommend? YES! Go here! You won't regret it, just make sure you have time to wait. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for my tattoos, that's how good my impression was of the place. Read Less

Today I got my very first tattoo. Since my chosen design was small, simple, and used only black ink, the guy at the front told me right off the bat that their minimum charge was $60 and that my design wasn't necessarily $60 worth of tattoo, and asked if that was ok with me. I really appreciated how upfront he was about it, and I decided that I'd rather pay a little extra to get tattooed at such an honest and professional (and highly reviewed!) place. The gal at the front also really helped me out by telling me about her experience with an ankle tattoo. Both of these people also were great about putting me at ease and, when it came time to apply the stencil, were absolutely dedicated to making sure everything was EXACTLY how I wanted it. Bryan was my tattoo artist and his work was quick, clean, and crisp. He talked me through the whole thing and kept my mind off the pain by chatting about the meaning behind my tattoo, his experience in the business, and the origins of tattooing in general. I was incredibly impressed both with his work and with him. Afterward all three people helped me to make sure I knew exactly how to take care of my new tat, and, to my surprise and pleasure, did NOT try to pressure me into buying any kind of expensive aftercare stuff. Overall, I had a GREAT experience. Great people, great ink-work, and I ALWAYS felt like everyone in the shop cared about giving me the absolute best experience possible. If and when I get ever another tattoo, Silver Needle Studio is definitely where I'll be going! Read Less
