I went into Fallen Angel back in February 2016. I had Darryl place 2 Dermals above my VH piercing. The dermals came out great & everything was lined up perfectly. I was a little nervous at first due to having a man piercing me in that area but Darryl was extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was traumatized the first time I got my nose pierced and had a shitty experience. I really wanted it pierced again and had given Carrie a try. Carrie made me feel super comfortable, helped me out with her suggestions on the placement (as I'm very indecisive) and the whole experience was great. Very disappointing. The young woman was rude when we walked in, rude when answering our questions and basically made us feel we were disturbing her while she played in her phone. This was for my sons first tattoo, in remembrance of his grandma that just passed. What an awful first impression of the industry. We will never go back. We ended up at Fat Cat tattoo on Greenback. I came in to get a nostril piercing and was greeted by Carrie, who is also the piercer. I previously had a nostril piercing that had closed and wanted to get it re-pierced. She  made sure to find a spot that wasn't on top of the old scar but still looked great. I love that she took the time to make sure the piercing was in the perfect spot. I have gotten two tattoos done here by Tom totalling 15 hrs under the ink gun and I have to say that no other artist can cover so much area with as much detail as he can. Both tattoos were completed in one go, the longest one totalling 9.5 hours, with just a lunch break. He didn't charge me for any time that he was not actively tattooing me, including both the lunch break and the time setting up all the colors. Not only this, his rates are only $125/hr or $100/hr for many pop culture tattoos like the ones he did for me. Overall the shop is great, the artists are all cool, and I enjoyed (relatively speaking) every minute of both tattoos. I really couldn't recommend a better shop to go to. Read Less

I have been going to Fallen Angel for several years. I was given a recommendation by a previous recipient of tattoo by Boss Tom. I had dream about an onion and a Mobius strip. Boss Tom was able to take that idea and create a beautiful image of an onion with an infinity sign hidden. Well Boss Tom was doing the onion I asked if he how he feels about working on other peoples art? I showed him a shoulder cap I had done in 1999 in Belfast Ireland that I wanted to get done for a long time. I explained what I had in mind and gave creative license to Boss Tom. 2x 5 hour sessions later and a magestic piece of art was on my left arm.At this point I have about 40 hours of tattoos with Boss Tom. They were really nice and have help me out. I had an eyebrow piercing that was fake gold and that didn't go so well. It swelled up and I could get it out. The girl at the front was so nice and was able to get it out after a hard 5 mins. Then about 2 weeks ago I came in after having my eyebrow piercing out for over a year and she was nice enough to test to see if i was still open and there was a little piece of skin blocking it from going all the way through. She was right and she put a plain silver one in for me, for only $10. They have great customer service. Read Less

I got work from Andy. I love Andy. Im going back to Andy to finish my peice. The shop is filled with really sweet people, AMAZING personal works everywhere and the shop has such a calm vibe and the employees really show their love for their art and skills. The tattoo artist are all skilled and VERY wide in genre so you can find a person who does what you're looking for. They all clearly love their jobs and are in there element. I have not a single compliant about anything and WILL recommend and return. My only suggestion is for the artists to keep more up to date tattoo work in their display books. A repeat customer for life. Recently had a cover up done that I have been trying to get done for years after several others said it could not be done boss tom performed his magic. I am sooo happy with the results. There are no words to explain how I am feeling even now 24 hrs later it still brings me to tears seeing the cover up transformation. My past mistake gone forever. Fallen Angel Tattoo is amazing. The first time I went there was about 3 years ago to get a tattoo, my first tattoo, that was being done on the back of my neck where the neck meets the shoulders. While I don't recall who did it, I do remember how great he was about it. I almost fainted from trying to stay so still, for so long; about halfway through, I started feeling warm, my face and hands got somewhat tingly and I soon became completely flushed. He took a break, got me something to drink, and told me to let him know when I was ready to continue; after a few minutes, he continued and finished. I loved it. My second experience at Fallen Angel Tattoo was in late October of last year, I went to get a tattoo, but being a Thursday, there was only one tattoo artist there and he was busy, so I went with a piercing instead and got my nose pierced. Carrie was absolutely amazing. After marking exactly where she was going to pierce it, she did; once again, I damn near fainted, same thing, blurred vision, flushed, tingling and ringing in my ears; she got me some water and let me lie back for awhile until it faded away, about 5 minutes passed and I was good to go. Today, 2/25/17, I went again, once more in desire to get a tattoo, but once more all the artists were busy, so I got another piercing. I initially was going to get either an Industrial or a Daith (I get chronic migraines), but after looking at my ear, and its shape, she said that wouldn't be the best idea because of how my ear lies against my head; so instead, and per her recommendation, I got a Conch piercing, which I adore; as well as another lip piercing to make Spider Bites- and guess what- NO FAINTING, Not even coming close to; yet she remained conscious of my tendency to almost faint and checked to see if I was okay multiple times throughout the process of the two piercings. On the 4th of March, I will be going in to get my tattoo(finally!), and I am certain that there will be the same level of attention and patience as I've experienced thus far with my visits. For these reasons alone, I will continue to go to Fallen Angel Tattoo for all my tattoos and piercings. Read Less

She told me that Myk worked Fridays and Sunday's (today is Saturday) but she so graciously called him for me anyway, just to see if there's a possibility of him coming through. My birthday is Monday and I really wanted my tattoo done before then. After speaking with Myk she said he agreed to come in. Can you believe that? I was so happy!!! Meeting Myk was so amazing. He's so kind and comforting, he has excellent technique and just made the experience 10/10. His artwork is impeccable. I will never go to another artist as long as he's available. I just got a small, simple tattoo by Shayla, and she did a WONDERFUL job. She first showed me her portfolio of some bigger tattoos, which was nice to see her experience and everything. She was very calm and easy going, and made sure she got exactly what I wanted. She gave me some tips and advice on how the tattoo would look on my ankle, and we worked out the best way it would ended up looking. And it worked out perfectly. She gave me her number and email if I had any questions afterwards, and I could tell she wanted to make sure everything worked out perfectly. I'm thinking about getting another tattoo, and I will surely go to her because I know she's a trustworthy artist. The place in general is great. Good atmosphere, they always have at least 2-3 customers inside which means they're always busy...which is a good sign! I've had my ears pierced twice before but both were done when I was in elementary/middle school at the Claire's in the mall. One closed up & the other time I took them out to change the earring but got too scared to put it in. After years of wanting to get them pierced again, I decide to go with a friend who had come here before and recommend them! I was a bit nervous about it all just because I don't like needles or pain very much but the lady who was going to do my piercings, Carrie I believe her name was, was very kind and assured me it wouldn't be that bad; plus I had my friend there for support. She explained how they did the piercings differently, how everything would go, she answered all my questions, and made me feel very comfortable. The piercing was definitely not as bad as I expected but it still hurt a bit. The second ear bleed a bit more but she said it happens sometimes. After all that I started to feel a bit sick though, which was also normal for some, and Carrie made sure I didn't get worse. She noticed when I got a bit pale, let me sit in front of their fan for a bit, and made sure I was feeling fine before I left. It was so nice here and I felt so comfortable. As someone who worries a lot, I felt very comfortable and welcomed. If I'm ever brave enough to get another piercing I will definitely come here no matter what and I highly recommend them. Read Less

I had my nipples pierced by Darryl recently and it was an absolute breeze! I was nervous at first after reading up on people's experiences and how sensitive and painful it was but he reassured me it would be over with before I knew it, and way less painful than I imagined. He took his time marking the holes and made sure I was satisfied with the placement and began "lubing" the needles with Vaseline type substance. He told me the less friction between the needle and my skin the less pain I would feel. The piercings were done quickly with very little time in between the two, and I am so thankful for that (it helped distract from discomfort/nerves). I walk in to get my nose pierced and ended up leaving without a nose . What's sad is that they didn't even offer to buy me a new nose . What they did offer was a replacement nose  (any animal of my choice ) but I didn't want it unless it was a real human nose . You see, what had happened was, Darryl messed up while piercing my nose and the whole nose fell off . I read other reviews about Darryl and how horrible he is but I didn't really pay attention because the decision to get a piercing was a pretty impulsive one . I had my nose pierced when I was 18. Did my strict mother approve ? No. Did I care ? Hell no. Did I end up taking it out ? Yes. Am I on my own now? Yes . Nowadays mama can't tell me nothin! so I decided to get my nose pierced again. I met Darryl at pho viet ( really good food and no, they did not pay me to mention them in this review ) Anyways, Darryl is a super cool guy! He mentioned he does piercings across the street and so I made an impulsive decision to go in and get it done . Darryl was professional and kept me calm by talking about mma and the deftones.
