Im going on my 6th tattoo here. The attention to detail and work done by Derik is unparalleled to any other place I can think of. I came in as a walk in customer. Greeted by Rob (who does great piercing). And also getting a smile or acknowledgment from the staff, which is awesome because nowadays people dont give a f**k. Derek is your go to for quality, detailed. Talked me through the process. Offered some ideas, He even went as far as to stay later to work on another tattoo I wanted and did an awesome job (see pics). Staff: exceeds expectations. welcoming and friendly. Do not come here for piercings. The person doing my piercing did not suggest any type of numbing beforehand or anything. Extremely over priced and now I feel cheated. I definitely should have looked around more before coming here. After it was done he took a picture of my nipple without even asking for permission. This place is awesome! I came here on no recommendations just the reviews of strangers and I'm so happy that I did. The environment is very relaxed and welcoming and I felt immidiately comfortable there. My artist was Steven Aguilar... What a pro! He has an exceedingly gentle style and steady hand which made this work a breeze. Also he I'd one of the most patient artists I've worked with. I went in to get a very meaningful tattoo and the end product was better than I could have hoped. I made an appointment to get a tattoo with a specific artist on a Sunday.  The appointment was for the following Friday.  The day before the appointment, he texts me with a lame excuse why he needed to postpone until Sunday.  The next day he texts me and says he's all together too just.  He offers his friend up to do the tattoo on Monday.  Very poor business practices. He recommended Eddie aka Swift great experience he was very costumer friendly and helpful gave them what they wanted plus me and my wife also got a couples tattoo,  king and queen crown on our wrist. Went here about a possible cover up. The guy i was talking to was a little rude and seemed too cool to help me. I felt like i was bothering him.As i was about to walk out krystle made small talk with me and 3 year old, next thing you know i was getting my nose pierced again. For my first tattoo after moving to San Diego I did a lot of calling and driving around looking for a good shop. As soon as I went in to Nittis and talked to Lee I knew I was in the right place. He listened to my idea, worked with me to come up with a plan, we set an appointment, and I love the work we've done so far. We have a lot more work to do and I'm glad I'm working with Lee to do it. Firstly, I ONLY yelp review if my service is amazing, or terrible. No inbetween for me. Anyways went in looking to get my tragus piercings on my ears..  (not sure if I spelt that right) so I went to Krystal. Girls legit.. She was super accurate with the placement on both sides.  She checked for perfection. I really appreciate that, because nobody wants uneven piercings. She also made the piercings quick and pretty painless. I felt a little sting initially, but I didn't even feel her putting in the jewelry. I give her a 5 star review. I can't saw enough positive things about my experience at this shop. I have been a collector of tattoos for over 15 years. After checking out some of the artists portfolios i decided this was great quality work. I went it without an appointment and was able to get what i wanted the same day. Hands down the best script and writting i have seen in san Diego. The artists were very friendly,  knowledge, passionate about my work as well as there own. He sketched out the peony flower I wanted and although I made him reposition the tattoo he didn't hesitate and was completely fine with it (we know some times artists get bothered by customers being indecisive). Went in here with a girlfriend of mine for her to finish your tattoo I was very excited to see the work being done because it is pretty good work.Now that we got that out of the way, one of the guys asked me if I wanted to get a tattoo I said no thanks"I already have an artist". So he proceeded to ask me what tattoo I got and I told him" its on my back" he said " let's see how good this guy is"  in which I replied " EW" What kind of professional shop of any sort what do want to tear down the potential customers existing work, or belittle them. The guy who does my tattoos is very nice world-renowned comes out in magazines and is booked about 6 months out. This guy was clearly mad that I didn't want to get a tattoo from him he was honestly very thirsty and I laughed when he tried to ask Mr for my insagram. I was just there to support my friend getting her tattoo finished. come to find out this guy is anywhere as good as my tattoo artist . All in all some of the tattoo isn't there might be good but that doesn't make up for crappy service. I wouldn't even call them all tattooers some of them just look like scrubs the cruise the mall hunting girlsSo in that case I would never get a tattoo there especially if my car is the most expensive car in the parking lot. I've gotten 2 larger tattoos here. Over $650 worth of tattoos and every time they have something ridiculous going on. They eat in the work space they allow anyone to walk into the workspace during your tattoo without your permission and the tattoo artist marked me on the way out of a 2hr tattoo because he needed a cigarette. They get a 2 only because the work is pretty solid and they'll do same day for me but it's a ghetto establishment and I'm shocked the city health inspector hasn't shut them down Read Less

Monday October 4th 2010 around 5 pm I walked into Nitti's Tattoo after doing some research and finally decided to drive over and check them out. As soon as you walk in you vibe the ora of artistic imagination, thought, and skill. Immediately, I was greeted by Hyman. Right off the bat Hyman asked what I had in mind to get his wheels turning, then in turn guided and assisted my thought process into something that turned out unique. Soon enough my knee to ankle sleeve was in motion. While sitting in the chair, I became acquainted with Panch who was working on this girl's hip piece and Paul who was just chilling out talking to everybody. By the end of the night I walked out of there with the first session finished and already scheduled to return for the second session. Overall the staff is mellow, easy going, friendly, good music, clean facility, sanitary, modern equipment, and most of all keeps it real.Definitely 5 stars and would recommend to anybody. If you take the time to go to the shop and talk to them and check out some of their portfolio's you can see for yourself. This place is legit. Read Less
