Been going to this shop for years. Getting tattooed by Ferny (Instagram picazotat2 )  Ferny is an amazing artist and all around great guy. I was shocked and appalled after going in there and learning " no one knew where he was".  It was weird suddenly everyone seemed like they had amnesia. I left perplexed and frustrated. I got a tattoo 20 years ago.   It had a beautiful inline in a Tibetan Knot that  was faded.  I went in, at the suggestion of a friend and his wife, to speak to Wyatt.  Wyatt has done much of the work that they have had done.   I was impressed by the artistry and beauty of the work he had done on them.   I stopped by, when they were getting some work done, to speak to Wyatt about the possibilities for touching up my old tattoo.  Even as he was working on them, he was able to come up with several reasonable and artistic options.   I can't wait to get the touch up!The shop is clean, lively, and comfortable.   The artists use industry standards of safety and equipment.  In short, this is not your back room tattoo shop! I have been coming to Anarchy and Ink for six years now. I get roughly one or two tattoos a month. I stopped counting at fifty. Every tattoo I have received has been over-the-top perfection. None of this matters if the shop is disorganized or dirty. None are true in this case. The shop is always clean, the apprentices are always cleaning and disinfecting, and health department regulations are strictly followed and enforced. Being an ex paramedic I would not take any chances with this no matter how good the artwork is. As far as organization, there is a team spirit within the shop that is second to none. Have had several tattoos done here. Wyatt's work is exceptional. He also makes you feel compfortable and listens to what you want and executes it perfectly. Currently having work done by Mark who is also very good. Looking forward to the finished product. The only negative thing to say about this place is that I stopped in there to ask about a tattoo and this guy (I won't bother to state his name in the hope he works on his attitude) was less than interested to be disturbed from his "napping position" and told me how intricate and exacting his work is.... Great place! Wife an I are on our honeymoon. I decided I wanted a to get a tattoo while we were here. So we went here. Walked in Steve welcomed us. Told him I was looking to get a tattoo an what I wanted. Less then 30 mins I was in the chair getting inked. All the workers are super nice. An I was actually surprised I got in right away. Before the wife an I leave to go back home I'm definitely stopping back in to get another one or two or a few more tats. It's hard to come by good shops. This is definitely one of those good shops. Mark and Wyatt stayed until 5am to finish both me and my girlfriends tattoo. We arrived at 9pm and they had a long wait. We sat until midnight and they finally started working on us. Mehhhh I got my first tattoo here and it was standard. The service was good but I don't think it helped that the girl next to me was bleeding every time the needle struck her back. It freaked me out.  Anyways I got my tattoo done by John... I think that was his name, he only works weekends bc he lives in the OC area. But he was cool did a good job and was fairly nice. I got tatted here in 2015 so they might have improved by then. The tattoo came out how I wanted after a bunch of redraws so they def work with you. I would probably come again. Read Less

My 2 friends and I were tattooed here just earlier this afternoon. I emailed the shop yesterday, an they responded in just a couple hours and even gave me the cell number of the artist we'd be working with. Sunny (our artist) responded to my messages and questions quickly and linked me to some of his other work too. He even followed up this morning about the exact time we'd be in. When we got there the shop had a nice ambiance. Sunny was really friendly and did a great job on all three of us. He even said he'd do a touch up for free if we needed it later! I'd like to start off by saying that the potential this shop has is awesome. They are obviously doing well because they were extremely busy when me and a few friends came in, which is why we were so excited to get tattooed at this shop (especially  because of the great yelp reviews!).I am so completely disappointed, though, with the way they handled us. We had made three appointments about 2 1/2 weeks in advance because we were traveling out of town to Palm Springs and heard that Anarchy was the best. I dealt with Sunny over the phone and he was nice. He told me we had appointments at 10:00pm March the 22nd for three people and that he would MAKE SURE there were artists available.Cool, we were stoked to get our tattoos done.We arrive March 22nd around 9:00pm. We figured since there were three of us we should show up early so the artists could get a good feel of what we wanted and then they would have time to draw it up.Now, I'm used to tattoo shops. I know that MOST of the time, shop personnel aren't overly thrilled about anything like I am. BUT, at this tattoo parlor, there are two seperate rooms - one room for tattooing and one room for waiting. I get it - keeping them apart is better, but nonetheless, no one came to ask us if we needed anything or if we had appointments or WHATEVER really.Finally, a young girl who was sitting in the waiting room with us asked if we needed anything. I didn't realize she worked there because she was all over her boyfriend and I thought they were waiting to get tattooed. I advised the girl that we had appointments at 10:00pm and that we were early. She went back to the tattooing room to see who our appointments were with, then she came back and asked who I had spoken with and then I told her Sunny. She went back to the room and then a young man came out and kind of just looked at us like we didn't belong there. He asked if he could help us and I re-explained why we were there. He went back into the room and then peeked his head back into our room and said "you, come talk to Sunny." I said, okay.... then I walked back.There were plenty of people there and the artists looked stressed out from how busy the shop was. I talked with Sunny who was about to start a tattoo and told him that we had appointments and blah blah blah - he remembered me. Then he told me to go back to the other room with my friends.About a minute later, the young man who told me to go talk to Sunny came back in the room and advised me that they couldn't do our tattoos that evening. I was shocked! We had appointments that we had previously made!!! I stormed back and talked to Sunny and asked why he took these other people before us (because he had advised me they were just walk-ins) when he KNEW this was our only night to get tattoos AND we had appointments.Basically Sunny said "too bad, sorry" and tried to call their sister shop to see if they had any room. They didn't either, so we were left shit out of luck!I am so completely disappointed with they way they treated us and the fact that we had appointments didn't even matter.
