This looks like the wrong place, the one I'm talking about here is for Ink Feind in Cameron Park. Looks like they changed the name. Same address. If I could give it a zero I would. My sister, daughter and I all got our noses pierced. 2/3rds of the time he can get it right. My daughter and sisters were fine. He asked me where I wanted mine placed, said I didn't know because I have no experience with it, he said "can I use my discretion " I said of course! You should know what you're doing. Turns out he put it in the thickest part of my nose. It kept going under the skin, I thought it was just from swelling. This happened on a Saturday and by Thursday I couldn't push it back through any more. I happened to be in Las Vegas at the time so I couldn't go back to him. I went to a place my sister goes in Vegas. The guy was shocked! He said he couldn't take it out because it was a cork screw kind and it would need to be cut, he didn't have the tools for that. He told me to go to the ER and have them cut it and pull it out. The ER said it would be easier to numb it and pull it through. Long story short, this piercing has cost me $1473.00. I personally think he should have to pay for it!!! Read Less

SO I got my FIRST tattoo by Josh and it was nothing but a chilll, good time. He made me feel SUPER comfortable which helped my situation 200% cause I was so nervous. He's sooo friendly; I can't imagine why anyone would complain. And did I mention my piece took like less than 45 mins and he did an amaziiiiiiing job. Everything you would want  and expect from a tattoo shop, the artists are great creatively and really good to work with, the place is clean, they take that seriously, and you get a movie to watch witch is a nice distraction while getting tattooed. My last 5 tattoos have been from Josh Hall, been going to him since before he had his own shop and I come up from San Jose. He is a straight forward guy and he is a good artist, the only one I have found who I trust to get tattoos from. He also I good coverup artist, I have had him fix a couple I got when I was 18 and not thinking past basic designs, he was able to turn them into something that I'm stoked to show off. I went yesterday to get a new piercing. I was nervous as hell the entire day but when i got there everyone was super nice and made me feel so comfortable in an otherwise very uncomfortable situation. Back in December of 2015 I went to Josh Akers to rework a tattoo I had gotten almost an entire year before hand. It was a small dagger in my finger and upon having it done the first time (by another artist) the ink completely fell out within about a week. I knew it was common for hand/finger tattoos to fade quickly but for the entire tattoo to fall out in a matter of days was insane. Since talking to a couple other artists in the area, it's believed the initial artist that did my dagger was using expired ink- go figure. Not only did my tattoo look patchy and faded like an old temporary tattoo, it was crooked too and just overall rushed looking. After talking to Josh he assured me he'd be able to fix it up and promised greater longevity of the ink. After Josh put his touch on it and turned it into a whole new tattoo I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I no longer had a new tattoo that looked ten years old! While I was in he also quickly touched up the lettering on my pinky too. My whole experience with Josh was much better than the first time I had my fingers done. He didn't rush and really made the effort to make sure that this time around, I'd love my tattoo and be happy to have it in such a visible area. Josh has only fixed up this one tattoo for me and it's been over a year since then, but I can confidently say I'd definitely go back to him again for some of his original work. To this day I still get compliments and people thinking it's a fresh tattoo because of how well he revamped this thing. I've thanked him a thousand times but I really don't think I could ever thank him enough. ****photos attached The first is before the ink completely fell out of the original tattoo, the second is in the process of being fixed, and third was after- I couldn't find a good photo of after as I don't take many pictures of my hands but as you can see the lines are way cleaner and much bolder. I have had 2 sessions here with josh and so has my wife. Very pleased with the work and quality. He does a great job. The atmosphere is funny and entertaining.  Overall. We are both impressed with the outcome of our tattoos. Josh understood what I was looking for gave him some ideas and he put it together perfectly. Got my " vacation" tattoo done.
