Wife and I showed up earlier than my appointment was set for, so they put on a movie for us while he finished up with the client he was with. First time here and first time getting tattoos. Rob and his assistant were really great to me and my little sister. What I got was a word/name Serenity on my upper arm and the second tattoo on my back was flowers shape like the moon. As for me, it did hurt but it was worth it cuz i love it so so much. Was very excited to finally be able to get the 350 8 hour sesh. Went in was there 8 hours but only 4 hours of work was done. Was told by Rob my tattooer that he was tired and he'd finish it up when it healed . Tried to set up an appointment numerous times and would get no response. Finally got the date set but no time. After almost a month of back and forth the time was set. I txt my artist and let him know id see him at the time set got a text back stating he had pushed me back because I never verified so he took two appointments before me. I let him know that I had been trying to set this date and my time had been paid in full...he stated he doesn't know why I'm mad it's basically my fault cuz I didnt say ok right away to the time...he then went on to say he was not going to finish my tattoo and I could come in and get reimbursed. My husband and I went in to get my money...was given 100 was told he didn't have the rest. Was very unprofessional he had guys waiting by the door and even asked my husband if he wanted to take this outside. We didn't go there for drama just to get the refund he suggested!  Took my 100 bucks to Mooney ink and got the pieces that were not colored in finished. Shawna is amazing! She was highly recommended by some of my friends. I got my very first tattoo done by her on my birthday! She is super friendly and talented! She was super informative when it came to all my questions. She went over everything to how it would feel, my healing process, after care etc. she also made sure that I was happy with my stencil and that I liked it and where it was placed and if I was unhappy with anything she would fix it. I loved that she ensured my happiness and comfort was a priority. I truly appreciate that because I've seen some artists in town that have 0 patience and kind of rush their clients. She talked to me and my sister and there wasn't any awkardness like I've experienced at other parlors. She truly enjoys what she does and ensuring her clients are at ease and comfortable while she is working on them. She was so kind because it was my first tattoo and I was freaking out and was reassuring me. She also gave me her cards and told me if I had questions I could call or Facebook her. My girlfriends and I had a tattoo party. We had Rob as our tattoo artist. All of the girls that got tattoos thought he did a good job on all of us. We all left feeling very satisfied, and wanting to come back for future work. He gave us great deals since we brought so many people in at once. Came in as a last minute referral from a co-worker.  Was taken in right away (almost like a 911 tattoo and Rob Ortiz hooked us up ! Had a tattoo artist HIT US UP to make a deal with her. She wanted to trade out work for 15 hours of ink. She got her table before she even started and worked on my husband twice and then the shit hit the fan. She would make appointments and then cancel only to see she was I fact tattooing others who had cash in hand. When she had yet to complete our deal. Very shady tattoo artist. We are now consulting legal help for she now blocked us and refuses to finish and we completed our end. I wasted my money on getting my tattoo done here. I really wish the tattoo artist would've taken their time to actually have my tattoo come out how I wanted, but I'm guessing they didn't really care and just wanted to rush through it. I went here after getting a poorly done belly button piercing from somewhere else, the staff was very friendly! While waiting to be taken into a room I overheard a conversation between client & tattoo artist in which the client was saying how she didn't trust anybody else with her tattoos because the artist there was the best. The shop owner redid my piercing and I loved that he talked me through the whole process and gave me tips on how to clean it afterwards. He didn't charge me because he could tell I suffered enough from the first piercing job. I also showed him some tattoos I want and he gave me some really cheap estimates.
