I got my nose pierced by Big Dave almost 3 years ago (writing a review late lol) and I had some issues with it but I think it's my personal skin not the piercing. I would get those little nose piercing bumps but they went away after a year and I've been loving my piercing since then. I recommend all my friends here. Read Less

It's funny, the shop now says under new management now.I would advise that you stay away from this shop at all costs,like the other yelper said, this tattoo shop is so unprofessional, its amazing to me that they're still in buisness and haven't been sued for negligence, or heck maybe that's why they're "unde new management"Anyhow, I came here sometime back and got a tattoo on my hand, the immediate night and following days the tattoo swelled to the point that I thought that my skin was going to burst, I ended up in the hospital on antibiotics due to an infection that id aquired from the tattoo (as stated by the MD)well, when i tried to call the artist and shop to inform them of what happened, I was told by the tattoo artist that his dad was a doctor and that there was no way I'd got the infection from them, I had to just laugh at the response every single, they refused to even fix the tattoo which at this point, I was NOT going to do and instead just asked for a refund, when they refused, because id went in for a piercing and was told to just sign the top of the piercing waiver for my tattoo, that it absolved  them of all liability - WRONG!I've contacted the health department and small claims...Trust me, go down the street to mad dog and spend your money on something thats of actual quality that you won't die from...Bootleg shop... I've gotten three piercings done by Big Dave so far and I have been extremely pleased each time I've gone. He does it fast and I've had no problems with the healing process. The outside is a bit intimidating with the bars on the window and all but the inside far more comfortable. I got a belly/ nose piercing done here, his name is big dave. He's very sweet and made sure I was comfortable. I even went back to him after I got a screwed up piercing from somewhere else, he didn't charge me for the assistance at all. I'll be sure to only go back to him for all my future piercings. What makes it even better is he owns the place now. It thinks it's $25 a piercing, including the jewelry. Read Less

Long story short: piercer admitted to being high while doing work on me. WOW. I would not recommend this place for piercings. I cannot say for the tattoos but I was very disappointed with the service. I went in on a slow day to find a guy behind the desk sketching on a piece I assume was someone's tattoo. I can appreciate a man who is engrossed in his work especially if it's going on someone's body but he didn't look up at me at all and grumbled at me like he was displeased I was bothering him. Not great customer service. After informing him I was just in for a simple piercing he said the piercer was not in yet. Even though the person I had just spoke with on the phone said he was available all day. Anyways he gave me his cell number and I called him. He said he would be there in 30 minutes or less. Well almost an hour later he showed up. He said his name was big Dave. He took me into the back and we talked a little and then he proceeded to do the piercing. Fast simple and painless I was thinking "ok so this isn't so bad after all" but then he continued to ramble on and on and on for what felt like another hour. I kept pressing him to just go to the register so I can pay and leave but he didn't take the hint and continued to talk to me. I can appreciate someone who is just making conversation but he seemed a little off and his movements were very slow and he was slurring his speech a bit. At this point I started to get suspicious that he was intoxicated and I mentioned something about being under the influence. Then he told me he likes to smoke weed before he comes in because unlike cigarettes the smell doesn't linger on your clothes and that can be off putting to clients. I'm sorry WHAT?! Your high right now and you just stuck a needle through my body?!I was shocked. I paid and left as fast as possible. This is frightening and unprofessional to the highest degree. Despite me taking proper care of it the piercing still got infected and I had to take it out. It formed a huge keloid. Probably because of how low the quality of jewelry was. Read Less

My friend took me here for my nipple piercing and I gotta say I went from knowing nothing about this place, to wanting to go here for all my piercings. My piercer was very nice and provided excellent service with extremely fair prices. He even gave me a business card that not only had his contact information on it but also a piercing aftercare guide! He goes by the name Big Dave and I recommend him for anyone who wants a piercing. I walked in yesterday to get a tattoo (July 3rd) and Joe was more than willing to hook me up with a tribal skull piece. The piece contained a llot of detail and Joe nailed it with excellent lines and in half the time other tattoo shops said it would take. Joe is very professional in his tattoo artistry. This was a cover up of a tacky butterfly and some fake looking stars with my first hhusband's name. Al did an amazing job covering up the tattoo from he'll with a dedication to my mom who recently past with a cross, a banner, flowers and the most beautiful shade job with some awesome colors. Cool place, friendly, and I wanted my tattoo done right away and AL was booked for a whole week, but fit me in that same night!! I was very impressed by his work and his suggestions. Definitely the best tattoo place I've been in. It is really clean, and really welcoming. It's not all clinical and scary, but it's professional. the guys are really friendly and laid-back, they make the whole process a lot better. they are great, i was so scared about my tattoo but he made me feel a lot better and relaxed, and it was a VERY pleasant experience.! amazing! The shop is nice and it is great knowing that the person working on you is not blown out of there minds.I can personaly say this I have been tattooed there and I am going back.The Artist are wonderful, if you are looking for portrait work go see Manuel of Eddie.
