So this review is years late but I'm just getting on yelp. I got one tattoo here from Brady in 2009 and it was just ok. I was young and it was my second tat, he gave me a "good price" so I went back a few years later for a different one by him. He did the outline, and again, it was just ok. (Brady was a friend of a friend so I wanted to help him out or something, my reasons for art back then were stupid but hear me out) It needed more work so I thought it would get nicer. I went in twice to have color added over a couple years and the last time he didn't do what I asked. I asked for one color, he did something completely different. All the shading and colors he added didn't match he previous work whatsoever. So I was just talking about my experience on Facebook and Brady was my Facebook friend, which I didn't even think about. He saw what I said (which wasn't even horrible) and that was that. About a year later I went there to get consulted for a different tattoo by a different artist who I booked an appointment with. I don't remember his name. When I got there I realized there were two artists with the same name and I had an appointment with a stranger. That stranger proceeded to print clip art off google to trace for my tattoo. It looked terrible. He redrew it a few times and it looked worse each time, until he crumpled the paper up, threw it at me, called my idea stupid and walked off. I was on crutches at the time and hopped over to the counter to ask what that was about. Brady came up, started ranting at me about how I badmouthed him on Facebook, turned beet red and started shaking like he wanted to punch me. He said he was glad dude was rude to me and told me to get out. Mind you I was a 115 pound, 25 year old woman on crutches, and he looked and acted like he wanted to hit me. I was floored. I then drove to Utopia tattoo in downtown Auburn and an artist named Chris did the tattoo I wanted and it's to this day my favorite one. A good artist should only listen to the person who's getting tattooed and offer suggestions, not change the idea completely and then throw a tantrum when the client doesn't like it. And I've heard from many people that Brady tattooed people while high on something. I've heard other stories of an artist tattooing while drunk. This shop is well known for some reason and people always talk about it but don't go here! I LOVE Syndicate. While I have yet to get a tattoo done here, I swear by this place for piercings. René is the bomb. She pierced my nose, nipples, and ear and not once did I have a problem with the healing process. My nose healed fairly quick, same with my my nipple piercings. The people at the front desk are super cool and friendly, very clean shop. High quality piercings for a great price. I love going in to get new piercings because I can always trust that I'm getting my money's worth and it's sanitary, and also because René makes you feel so comfortable, there is no awkwardness and conversation is very easy. 10/10 recommend Read Less

These guys are AMAZING!! No other words describes them better. John has done the most incredible pieces on me time and time again. Brady has done the most sentimental pieces, my kid's actual footprints and Jason has also done a great piece for me as well. I know I haven't mentioned Jesse yet. Love syndicate tattoo! Im a Leo so I went in there a year and a half ago with an INSANE picture of a lion that I pulled off of the Internet and fell in love with. (Keep in mind, this was my first tattoo!) I saw Jason Langley, and he looked over the picture and made some suggestions on certain things that might be better to change up to make it look great and told me he'd sketch it up. We exchanged phone numbers and he said he could text me photos of the sketch as soon as it was done and we could schedule an appt to get it done. I could tell that this tattoo was a little crazy and was gonna take some time because the detail was so tiny, but he went for it!A week later, he sent me an awesome outline, and we made an appointment to have it done. This was a 6/7 hour long tat, but he busted it out and did a great job. I love this tattoo still, and will go there for any future tattoos/piercings. Read Less
