Fantastic piercing experience! The "perforationist" was extremely professional and patient. He was thorough about aftercare and through every step of the process. I've had piercings done at various shops in the past, but this was by far the cleanest, most thorough, and calmest experience I've ever had. Sure, the new piercings hurt, but he had such a relaxed and soothing way about him which made the process easy. I got a new rook and middle cartilage piercing on my left ear and two upper cartilage piercings on my right ear to even out my existing piercings. He took so much time measuring and making sure that everything was even so that my new piercings match seamlessly with my existing ones. Well done! DO NOT GET A TATTOO HERE, PLEASE!1st off, I felt the artists were pushy and aggressive -- they tried to push both me and my friend into getting tattoos we did not want, and were rude while we were getting tattooed. My artist freehanded details I specifically said I didn't want, and messed up some lines (then pretended they were supposed to look like that).HOWEVER, THAT IS NOT THE WORST PART! My friend's artist, Peter, MISSPELLED HER TATTOO, then DID NOT OFFER TO REFUND HER, DID NOT OFFER TO FIX IT WITH WITCH HAZEL, and shrugged it off as something "that had never happened to him before." He acted annoyed that she was upset, and offered minimal solutions.DO NOT LET PETER OR DANNY near your body -- you will be pushed into things you're not asking for, you'll be treated poorly, and you just might end up with a misspelled tattoo.Save your money, and do not support a business that treats customers like this and doesn't put care into the quality of their work. Chris at Lighthouse is the man although during my time there I have witnessed all the guys putting out great works. To say you enjoy your time in a Tattoo chair is something special but that is the truth I always have a great time while I am getting work. Hey we are going to get some Mod Pizza want me to grab you one? I was not hungry but wow thanks for asking and making me feel at home! This shop gets unfairly judged by the last shop that was in this location and that is foolish. This shop is clean and these guys are talented and the past business in this building is completely irrelevant to what Lighthouse is. Chris is a master with free hand and color and I think deserves his place with Auburn's top artist now. He is unafraid to take on difficult and unique works. The first Tattoo I got he said hey man do you mind if we back this appointment up a few days; I want more time with this piece because I love the project and I want it too be perfect. Nope don't mind at all buddy I want it to be the best as well and I am willing to wait a few days. Since then he has helped me cover up two pieces I had no pride in and now I love showing off the new work and you can't even see the old work. One of the pieces I had covered up came from the old shop that was in this location and so I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt and from experience that Lighthouse is a whole new ballgame. What a wonderful experience.  Clean shop, great people.  I waited a bit while Peter did the artwork for my tattoo so it gave me the opportunity to observe.  Everyone was polite without fawning.  I'm 62, maybe not so common for an old(er) lady to start getting tattoos later in life (got my first about 3 yrs ago), anyway, they made sure I was comfortable throughout the process.  One thing I found refreshing was the honesty I heard spoken.  One artist wasn't very familiar with something a customer asked about.  He told the customer so and promised to do some research on the issue for him.  They all seemed very committed to excellence.  Peter didn't rush, made sure I was comfortable throughout the process as this one was much more intricate that my other tattoos.  He paid attention to the detailing and I absolutely love his line work, so fine and beautiful.  The pic included is from the morning after and it looks great despite still being a bit puffy and angry.  Just a wonderful experience.  I will be back for more and highly recommend this shop. If you want to get a piercing from a place that is on point this is it. I work as a Practice Manager for a plastic surgery company and this is the first place that does peircings that I have seen, that uses legitimate sterilation and infection control processes that provides the cleanest peircing with the best care possible. I got a awesome tattoo elsewhere but the artist added some lame shading. I told him to work his magic. Apparently he ran out after the amazing Lilly he tatted. From day one I wanted to have the lametarded shading covered. I work in Auburn and everyday I pass by Lighthouse. Alas, my fat ass walked in and was immediately greeted by these guys. That's a huge positive impression. I talked w them about what I wanted and I felt them understanding exactly what I was explaining. Pete...r was amazing. I've had two sessions w him and he chit chats w me and during my visit he asks how I'm doing throughout the process. Came in today for the touch up work on a coverup piece by Lil Chris. Again blown away by the work he does. He spent almost two hours working his magic and the result is a piece that looks like it was intended all along. Then we practically had to hold him down and force him to take any money. Finding a tattoo artist and shop that you fully trust can be super challenging, especially when it comes to 1) wanting a custom piece, 2) to cover an unsightly scar, and 3) in a "sensitive" area, but Chris L at Lighthouse Tattoo Club is exceptional in each regard. It's not always the most comfortable thing to lay out on a tattoo chair with your upper hip/butt exposed for hours, but the staff here was extremely professional and I was shocked by how at-ease I felt. Chris has done pretty much all of my tattoos and I trust him 100% to make kickass custom pieces. Whether you want something from the wall, from Pinterest/Instagram, or something completely spontaneous and original, Chris will never disappoint!
