I forgot to mention I wanted to add water and he said there wouldn't be enough room but when he showed us the drawing he was able to do it! My MIL & I also wanted to have something similar to have them matching even though it's two different sceneries and he did the sky for it and the colors are so gorgeous. This is hands down the best tattoo/piercing shop in town. I've had three tattoos by Jeff whose one of the nicest and coolest people Ive ever met, and equally talented and professional and I've gone in with friends who have had work done by him and by Jon who is a sweetheart and super funny. Britney balances out the male energy, I've watched her work, and seen her finished pieces - she's outstanding. I've been in the shop several times, sometimes just with friends getting something done, sometimes just to say hi and they just always have a chill, upbeat fun vibe that makes you feel comfortable and want to hang out,  and could not possibly be nicer people, thier prices are fair and they always have availability. I took my daughter here for a nose ring and I loved how Brittany went into great detail on how to take care of it and what to expect.  She even had my daughter take a selfie so she could decide which side to have the piercing done on! Wonderful experience! Easy to find location. Fun and funky vibe. Very welcoming; met both the owner (Brittney) and her husband, Jon were so helpful and I got two much wanted tattoos as a walk in customer. I got a deer skull tattoo from Brittney. When I made my appt (a $50 deposit is required), the person helping me on the phone was very courteous and gave me some good prep. advice. When I went in, Brittney took my drawing inspiration and made it unique and beautiful! It took her only about 2 hours to do the tattoo. Of course, it was painful in most spots, but I got it on my thigh, so there were some spots it didn't hurt as bad. It came out better than I expected! I can't wait to go back for another one. My sister and I went to Crimson Tattoo Co to get Starry Night themed sister tattoos on July 15. First: The shop is amazing! It's funky and cool (and really clean) -- I'd want to hang out there just for the ambiance and the people that work there. Brittney did our tattoos and couldn't have designed them more perfect for either me or my sister. She drew them up while we watched and tweaked them until we loved them (there wasn't a whole lot of tweaking, just saying) and then got down to business. She was super methodical in making sure everything was clean and sanitized and that her work station was in order. She was fun, funny, and made my sister and I feel right at home. She is super talented and our tattoos turned out beautifully.Everyone at the shop is awesome. Jon Doe is crazy funny and it was fun joking with him while he was between clients and watch the camaraderie between everyone.  Because we were there so long (two tattoos take a while), we got to see a couple other customers come and go and everyone in the shop takes as much care with their equipment and pride in their work as Brittney. If I hadn't fallen in love with Brittney, I'd be just as happy having any of the artists in the shop work on me -- everyone is amazingly talented.I can't recommend this shop or the artists who work there enough. Super bummed.. only giving 2 stars because the shop itself is kinda neat. I wanted to like this place so much. The shop is pretty rad and my husband and I love supporting local business, especially young families. There is some cool art to buy and trinkets. As far as a tattoo we will never be back zero stars for that.  Hate to be the people who complain but the tattoos we got are the most important/special tattoos we have and unfortunately they came out terrible. I literally cried the day after we got them. I wasn't going to leave a review but we chose this place because of reviews so we felt we should leave input. We got our wedding rings done and not only did she change the entire design, we originally wanted the year day and date for our wedding rings, she suggested leaving the year off because fingers are tricky, wtv, we listened but she even changed the type of key we picked without us wanting it changed. My husband thinks maybe she doesn't know how to do fingers, idk, maybe she does other stuff well. We have taken extra care of it, i wash the dishes with one hand just to not get it wet, we lubricate them all day to make sure they heal well and both of our tattoos are already fading,  bled a lot and my ring is completely off centered. Wish we would have went somewhere else or done a little more research as far as finger tattoos and who is the best artist to choose. I called a handful of shops and she told me over the phone she could do everything for 125, i thought she meant everything, when it came time to pay it was for each finger and although she gave us a small discount because of the misunderstanding she also stated she could charge whatever she wants because there aren't many shops to choose from and she said she was the cheapest which isn't true because i called another shop that was going to do it for cheaper, once again she lured us in with "i can do it all for 125" anyway besides that the tattoos came out terrible. Hopefully we can get them fixed by someone else. It's been only 19days and they are partially gone. My hubby has quite a few tattoos and I have a handful so although fingers are tricky I know we take ink well, plus she only did one line and it took longer to set up than it did to actually do the ink. Maybe she didn't press hard enough, maybe she used the wrong type of needle, maybe the ink was old. Idk.. sucks. Maybe she can do other tattoos well but i definitely don't recommend getting fingers done here. Drive further,  pay more if you have to, ask for someone who is experienced with finger tattoos and even though everyone thinks their the best, ask for proof. I will post pics of our work.. I did a bunch of research on different tattoo artists and when I came upon Crimson and I looked at the work Brittany did I knew that she was the one that was going to do my tribute to my parents. I couldn't have been more right. She spent a while drawing out what I had described to her and she took her time and great care as she created the most Beautiful Tattoo. I have been wanting to get my tattoo covered up for quite some time and after reading all the amazing reviews I scheduled with Brittney. The vibe of the shop is awesome. Everyone is very friendly and easygoing.While Brittney was drawing up my cover up I saw another employee setting up her station. I was very pleased with the level of cleanliness and care that was used to create a sterile station. Brittney was very thorough with getting the tattoo just right and tailored to exactly how I wanted it to look. She took her time and actually gave different variations to choose from. I am so pleased with my tattoo and will definitely be returning in the future. I had a great experience here with Brittney. The night before I came to see her I had gotten my nipples pierced at Fat Cat in fair oaks, the woman who did my piercings didn't have the proper jewelry for my nipples so she used eyebrow rings. Being that these were my first piercings I wasn't aware of the dangers but a friend of mine said that was wrong so I called Crimson Tattoo seeking advice and Brittney was soooo helpful, she told what type of cleaning solution I needed and suggested I come to her so she could switch the eyebrow rings out of my nipples. (Obviously painful) but she made me feel so comfortable and she was so professional about the whole thing, I knew I was in good hands, literally lol. I love this place! Brittney and Jon have a great business together. They are a very clean, well put-together shop. From the very cool decor to the ink, everything is way more modern than my first tattoo xx years ago! And Brittney is one hell of an artist. She did a cover up that rocked. My wife looked into this shop after we wanted to get work done for our Anniversary, that we had spoke about getting for around a year or so. After my wife messaged Brittney, she responded quickly that same day, even though they had closed already for the day.  They exchanged messages along with some pics for ideas, and the process had begun. I could tell that some rapport had been established already, and we were comfortable enough to make an appointment for a consultation. We met Friday evening to discuss what we were going to get and she had already drawn them both up, minus some final touches. Her husband Jon was there, and we were able to have a great conversation and have some good laughs as well. Brittney and Jon were both super chill, funny, smart and good people. The vibes came across very clear, right away. I think we even spent another 45 minutes in the shop just chatting after everything that had to do with our tattoos had been discussed.We ended up making an appointment for 3pm that following day. We were so excited to be able to get in so quick with such a talented artist. We showed up right on time and there they both were, totally ready and inviting. I sat for just over an hour, and my wife for about 45 minutes. She works with a light touch, does great lines, and is fast without looking like it.  Overall, we are more than satisfied and we have definitely found our new shop and artist. My hubby & I have been talking about getting his & hers crown tattoos for about a year.  They hold a lot of meaning to us. I found a post about Crimson Tattoo. I started to do a little Facebook stalking. I found that while the shop just opened, Brittney has been tattooing for a while & she is crazy talented.  I was impressed by her. I sent a message to her via FB and told her what I was hoping to get done. She responded back very quickly (it was even after hours) and was very open and understood what I wanted.  We ended up setting up a consultation for me & the hubby for Friday evening. After the consult, we scheduled for the next day (today). The shop is super cool! It is very clean & is decorated in a goth/Victorian era theme. They even have a bad ass coffin that has been repurposed into a coffee table (ask how they got it! Great story). Brittney & her husband, Jon, are very welcoming & helpful. The shop does not have the normal vibe of loud music & cocky artists. There isn't a bunch of flash on the walls. It feels like you are home, with the family members that you actually want to hang out with. Brittney is super talented! She is really quick, but not "rushed" or sloppy. She has a very light touch! I was so impressed by her ability to make my tattoo look better than what I had envisioned in my head. I absolutely LOVE what she did.  I am beyond happy with every single aspect of my experience with her, Jon, & the shop. Absolute BEST tattoo experience I've ever had !  I came on for a cover up after being turned down several other places .  She was not only understanding and knowledgeable. But also  compassionate and understanding to what my needs were.  She gave me a very detailed consultation and advised me on placement and ideas to make it look more aesthetically pleasing with working from the lines of my previous piece .  She listened to my story and why these were important and kept true to my original idea . She's very experienced and confident  so I felt very comfortable. In the end I couldn't be happier with the outcome  and I am glad she guided me and  gave me her artistic opinion !
