It's been about 3-4 years since I've came here and never looked back. This tattoo shop has been highly recommended from many of my clients, friends and even family. Every time Im there I have such an amazing time. Juice and Mikey are my highest recommended artists, they are amazing. Definitely recommend getting tattoos by them its such a privilege. Everyone in the shop makes you feel like family but for some reason in my years of going there the female artist has been always very rude and unprofessional. Before knowing of her I was warned by some that she could come out to be rude but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and give her a chance but not only is her demeanor disrespectful but her prices are too exaggerated for "her work". But anyways I still continue to recommend this high end tattoo parlor just because of the guys. BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW ! P.S DONT FORGET TO TIP THEM !

He gave me all the info I needed on care and more, and told me he was available for the coming months if I had any concerns about my piercing. The prices were great too.10/10 I highly recommend Rubes Tattoo.

I walked in today during my lunch break for nipple piercings. The place has a very chill vibe and Corey was real nice and professional. The process was quick and smooth. He walked me through the aftercare and all that. I walked in a bit after noon and was literally in and out in like 15 minutes. They are cash only, so be prepared for that. And don’t be a dick, make sure you tip! There is an ATM in the bar two doors down in case of an emergency. ;)

I got my 1st tattoo done here yesterday(I'll be 60 in 3 weeks)! Alisa King is awesome! (She was recommended to me by a friend.) She made sure I was comfortable at all times & honestly it didn't even hurt as much as I thought it would. She is a true artist and the tattoo I now have is beautiful and feminine. If I ever get another one, she is the person who will do it! Corey and the staff are so friendly! The shop was very clean and they made this "Square (Conservative)" person feel accepted there. Everyone answered ALL of my questions (even the dumb ones) with respect. I have already told and shown ALL of my friends and relatives about this place on social media. I highly recommend it!Thank you Corey and Alisa for designing and "inking" me! It truly was a very memorable experience!

I wanted to get a tattoo yesterday right on my 18th birthday. It was about 9:30-10pm but all the tattoo shops that said they'd be open until 11 were close(shame on them). Then, I found this place on yelp and now I'm glad all the other shops were closed. The tattoo artist (Angel) was very patient, nice, and detail oriented. He made humorous conversations throughout the process to calm my nerves and his drawing was very on point. He made the process as short as possible but also he was very keen on keeping all the details, making suggestions to how a tattoo would look best. He was also very happy to tailor to all my requests and was genuinely a very nice guy! He stayed until 11:30 or so, which was past their closing time, just to make sure my tattoo was perfect. Overall, I could not be more satisfied with the service and work of this place.

I came to Rub'e for only one reason initially, because Alisa King was working there. She is the best tattoo artist that I know and I would follow her anywhere, but now that she is at Rube's I don't feel like I am following her anymore. I feel like I am home. Everyone at the shop is nice and helpful and judging by the other work I saw going on while Alisa was working on me, all of the artists are really good. I would have no problem having another one there do some work for me if Alisa could not for some reason. There is another review that claims it is overpriced.. however I have to say, you get what you pay for and for my money, Rube's is a great if you want a really awesome tattoo.

Tuesday, March 29, 2011, I went to 3 other tattoo shops all giving me their prices, which was way too high for what I wanted. I decided to go to Rubes and the price they gave me was perfect. Maya was very nice and professional as everyone there was. She did what I wanted and informed me what she could and could not do to cover up an old tattoo with the new one. It came out perfect and I will not hesitate to go back again to get more work done. I would recommend them to anyone. Each person is going to have their own opinion whether it is negative or positive. The only opinion you should trust is your own decision.

I'm a bit on the picky side and I pay very much to detail. I will never go anywhere else. Carlos Almeida is the only person I will let tattoo me. Rubes is a place that makes you feel comfortable and as part of the family. I would recommend any of the artists there. They all do wonderful work and have the awards to back it up.

Super relieved.I'm extremely nervous because I have low pain tolerance and was doing a side piece, Angel made sure to make me feel comfortable. It was a pleasant experience, love how my tattoo came out.

Absolutely loved coming here. I looked up a tattoo shop close to my hotel because parking was a nightmare in Hollywood where i was trying to go. They surprised the hell out of me. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a great atmosphere. And Carlos the one who tattooed me has some amazing skill. You guys are awesome!

My experience with Rubes was the best. Tom Tilden was the perfect artist for me. He was my first lol. And I will go back to him. My experience was that good. The entire process was amazing. I had a small tattoo done and they didn't make me feel foolish or silly because I wasn't getting a sleeve, although that may be next. I felt cared for and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Heck them out.

I came to Rub'e for only one reason initially, because Alisa King was working there. She is the best tattoo artist that I know and I would follow her anywhere, but now that she is at Rube's I don't feel like I am following her anymore. I feel like I am home. Everyone at the shop is nice and helpful and judging by the other work I saw going on while Alisa was working on me, all of the artists are really good. I would have no problem having another one there do some work for me if Alisa could not for some reason. There is another review that claims it is overpriced.. however I have to say, you get what you pay for and for my money, Rube's is a great if you want a really awesome tattoo.

The one review on Rubes is all wrong since that was almost 3 years ago. That person he mention is no longer there. I was sceptical at first after reading the review on here but notice how old it was. Tuesday, March 29, 2011, I went to 3 other tattoo shops all giving me their prices, which was way too high for what I wanted. I decided to go to Rubes and the price they gave me was perfect. Maya was very nice and professional as everyone there was. She did what I wanted and informed me what she could and could not do to cover up an old tattoo with the new one. It came out perfect and I will not hesitate to go back again to get more work done. I would recommend them to anyone. Each person is going to have their own opinion whether it is negative or positive. The only opinion you should trust is your own decision.

THE REASON WHY IT IS SO OVER PRICED IS NOT ONLY MY OPINION BUT I HAVE FOUND OUT OF OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW OF THAT HAVE GONE HERE TO GET SOMETHING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SIMPLE AND SOOOOOOOOOOOO PLAIN AND THEY UP PAYING OVER 100 FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NOT EVEN WORTH NO MORE THAN 50 AT OTHER TATTOO PARLORS. I REGRET COMING HERE TO GET MY SECOND TATTOO DONE SIMPLY BECAUSE THE TATTOO I GOT DONE TURNS OUT TO BE THAT I GOT JACKED OUT OF MY POCKET ATLEAST 60 EXTRA BUCKS. NEXT TIME GO CHECK OUT OTHER TATTOO PARLORS BECAUSE THEY WILL DO THE RIGHT JOB FOR THE RIGHT PRICE.
