Went as a walk-in, and the vibe is super chill and relaxed. Junior was my artist- he's amazing.  He drew up a design and altered it no problem, and worked with me on placement. This tattoo meant a lot to me, and he was great at working with me to get it just right.Definitely felt at ease and he was really easy to talk to, which is important to me when I'm being tattooed! We were referred to the shop from friends who had work done by two different artists. Jr Badillo greeted us and asked if we had a certain artist we wanted to see. There were three of us getting work done, and we had done our research ... checking out the shop's Facebook page and work done by different artists. Jr did my two tattoos and he is amazing. His attention to detail is phenomenal! I'm so impressed by his work that I've been telling everybody who sees my ink to go see him. I found out he's the cousin of one of my coworkers. Last June I send a message to the instagram page of mi familia tattoo to see if they could make a cover up in my horrible tattoo. With the person who I spoke, he or she told me that I could arrive the following Friday to see if they could do it. When I went, sergio , ( you can find his Instagram like @blessedink_ss )  an artist from the studio, told me that my tattoo had scars but if I started using vitamin E for two weeks, my skin would be ready to cover it. After two weeks I came to the studio with my skin looking better, he looked at it and told me it was okay and that He could do my tattoo cover up. When I asked him the price for the cover up, he told me that $ 500 but that I will not see my old tattoo any more, he promised me to cover up with one session. I arrived on Monday  July 2 th,  he opened the studio only to do my cover up, and after 4 hours I left the studio very happy, I could not see my old tattoo. When he finished it, I was charged $600 instead of $500 because he told me that my tattoo was bigger than he planned. Two days after I got the tattoo, my old tattoo was beginning to be noticed, after three weeks I sent a message to Sergio, he answered that my tattoo needed a retouch. When I said sergio my availability to do it, he did not answer the messages anymore. I wrote him to telling him that I wanted to go to the studio to show him how my tattoo was and in that point I was looking for honesty, if there was a solution to cover my tattoo or if it was better to remove it with laser, He doesn't answer me. I went to the studio to look for him and he told me that i can see my old tattoo because my skin was mistreated from the old tattoo but my question is.... why did he do the cover up and promise me that it will be completely cover if my skin was damaged from my old tattoo?. I came to the studio looking for a solution from my old tattoo but the only thing I got was to make my skin worse and make the problem bigger. Now I have a bigger tattoo in which you can see the old tattoo. I write this comment because I want that people take care when trusting tattoo artist . I do not doubt Sergio's work as a tattoo artist but doing cover up is not the best, also he was not honest with me and the only thing that he wanted was my money. He should focus and be professional and not promise miracles when He knew that my tattoo had no solution. Today I started my laser remove treatment.  I have a long way to go to see result. The lady that is doing my laser remove tattoo told me that it will be easier to remove my old tattoo but now She need to remove the tattoo that Sergio did it too, she told me that she doesn't understand why he didn't recommend me some laser session first but the only reason was that he did not care about his costumers. I hope that he enjoyed the $600. The first two pics that I am attaching is the day that I got my cover up with Sergio, and the last two are one week later the cover up. Please guys if you are looking for a tattoo artist to do a cover up or a tattoo make searches , ask questions, and don't trust in the first one that promise you what you want to hear. On vacation from Oregon, my mom and I came to mi familia tattoo. We were lucky to have Jonas as our artist. This shop is amazing, they live up to their name and are just like a family. They make you feel welcome and at home. Even through the pain of a foot tattoo they had us smiling the whole time. When I look for a tattoo artist, I look for someone friendly who is willing to laugh with you, Jonas met this standard perfectly. Great studio with a good atmosphere. It feels like you're at a friend's house for a hangout. The staff is incredibly kind and willing to answer any questions you might have. I love this place!! Everyone is very welcoming and professional. Every artist is truly amazing at what they do. I've been coming here for a few years now and you can really tell they're a little family. My husband recently starting getting ink done by Alex and he was very patient and helped us out with listening to our ideas and making it into a cohesive piece. I've been going to Silent (James) and he's been able to amaze me more and more every time. The last tattoo he worked on literally brought tears to my eyes when it was finished. I was speechless. Let me start off by saying the staff is super nice and treat you the way you would expect to be treated as a customer. I walked in and Fatboy Alex was more than willing to hear out what I wanted and to offer his advice. What I am really appreciative about is that even after getting 2nd opinion on whether or not the pic I wanted was good enough (it is over 20 yrs old and small) to blow up and make a portrait of Fatboy Alex did not settle for using a different pic I had & still worked hard to give me the exact portrait I wanted! This place is awesome. It's clean and very well put together. My tattoo artist, Alex, was very polite and attentive. I am in no way an artist, but I do like to doodle. I took a Harry Potter doodle I made and asked him to clean it up and to make it symmetrical. He did an amazing job! While I was getting tattoed Alex was very fun to talk to. So this is my first time to this shop, but I've been following Sanae for the past 3-4 years grime Whittier,Fullerton and now Anaheim and will continue to follow her! Had a great experience at this spot my first time coming in, I got in when I wanted & was in & out plus got a sick tat I have other tattoos but are put to Shame by the ones I got yesterday by Alex Aka: fatboi-Such an amazing artist w/ great skill & potential, I spoke to him over the Phone explained what I wanted and got better advice & a good piece of mind from the artist in person. I chose to get the tat on the back/upper neck So when I turn my head it's visible Alex drew it w/ black cursive writing, it was sized perfectly & was a great price. This shop is among one of the cleanest. You walk in the door and see many pieces of art on the walls from all different artists. This was my first time here. I came to get some ink by the great Johnny Bones. He had asked me to relax and make myself at home while he finished up a custom sketch. Restrooms are ridiculously clean. No longer a virgin. Danny C took my tattoo virginity.I walked in as a spur of the moment kinda thing. I've been wanting a crescent moon tattoo for a while but kept debating on getting it or not. In the moment I decided why not? and drove right over.Danny greeted me and helped me on what I wanted and drew it out with different sizes and then plastered it onto me to see if I liked the size and location of it. After a couple changes we were set. He was very meticulous on placing my tattoo and making sure it was aligned perfectly. Perfectionist.He was professional and nice. Location of my tattoo required me to basically be topless with only my nipples covered. He didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all.In the end I got to see if I was happy with my tattoo and he made a minor touch up and I was out the door. Gave me instructions on how to take care of my new ink and off I went.Everyone loves my tattoo! Clean lines. My biggest concern was clean lines on my moon. I didn't want any jagged lines.
