I contacted Alyssa through email with specifically what I wanted (which was a chrysanthemum center and wild flowers with geometric line-work / dot-work) and provided a couple of sketch references, a size estimate, and placement location. She replied very quickly and was friendly when discussing details. We scheduled a consult right away, then made an appointment to have the tattoo done.Throughout the process, she emailed me drawings of the design and made sure my opinion on how I wanted it was heard. The day of our appointment she had a beautiful drawing done and ready, and had it exactly the way I wanted. Alyssa was fantastic from start to finish! My husband and I walked in to Autumn Moon last night after reading reviews. I wanted a memorial tattoo for my Dad and he wanted to add both our surnames to his familia tattoo. Lindsey and Johnny did an awesome job designing and executing our tattoos! Lindsey explained every step and made me very comfortable with the process, and gave me lots of updates as we went along... "almost done with the outline", "I'm going to fill in the hand now", etc. Price was reasonable and both Johnny and Lindsey made sure to tell us that they did free touch-ups. I had an idea of what I wanted and as soon as I walked everyone there was really friendly. Johnny was the one that greeted me and I told him what I wanted he did a rough sketch and verified that everything was how I wanted. It took about an hour for him the draw out the tattoo which was fine with me bc I did want it to be detailed. The whole tattoo took about 2 hours. Johnny was great the whole time, he was really friendly and made sure to check in on what was going on and answered any questions. He took the idea I had to a whole different level. He absolutely killed it. I'm definitely going back for my next one. The price for the tattoo was completely fair it's about 10 inches tall and 12 inches wide full of color. Got a very small tattoo, a Greek letter delta. Lindsey was amazing! I came in with a picture of the version I wanted and told her the size I wanted. Rather than just doing what I asked, she explained to me why it would be in my best interest to do something different. She gave me something I completely love and was 100% straightforward about everything. She told me it would hurt (turned out it wasn't so bad) and when I asked her to change a detail made me realize I didn't want that either. I really liked that she didn't just do what I asked and left me with the results, she wanted to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. He was willing to contribute his ideas and listened patiently to mine. I have to say, Donovans Autumn Moon is the best place to get tattooed. I got my first tattoo there 5 years ago by Junior...Donovan Junior that is. The place is extremely clean, the artwork is phenomenal and I was not overcharged. I have been tattooed elsewhere due to the fact that I live in Tennessee now and I know the difference between the good and the bad. On top of everything...Junior is pretty hot.
