Worst experience ever. I scheduled an appointment for a Brazilian and underarm wax and to get my face and eyebrows threaded by Selma. During my Brazilian wax, she was waxing so fast that it was painful. I was near tears yet she continue to keep waxing instead of stopping for a little bit to see if I was ok. Then, after the wax, she was in a hurry to change the table paper where she didn't even let me change into my cloths. I come out to get my face threaded and start a conversation. Come to know that she was in a hurry because her employee over booked for the same time slot as my appointment and she thought it was rude to keep that appointment waiting. It upset me that she was willing to hurry for another appointment when I too was a paying customer receiving services and I was not well taken care of. The Brazilian wax hurt so bad I was sore for two day after. That's not normal. I come home and took a look at my face and patches of hair was still left on my cheeks, upper lip, and forehead. The threading job was also done in a hurry though that was not nearly as painful as the wax. This used to be my go to place but I will never step foot into this place again and would not even recommend this place to my friends or family. Read Less

First place I have gone to that threading actually did not hurt.  Except for the upper lip part.  But---let's not lie, girls---that's always gonna suck.  The young lady who did my eyebrows?  Omg.  She was amazing.  It actually did not suck as much as past threading experiences have been.  There wasn't any pressure from other services offered...  she only just let me know about them.  I wish I had thought to get her name.  But, this is definitely a great spot for hair removal! They always do amazing eyebrows & I love getting my sugar waxes there. Sugar waxing is by APPOINTMENT ONLY, the only time they will let you walk in is if they're dead. And this place stays pretty busy! The also offer many products to clear your bikini area if you have scarring or get ingrowns. This was my 3rd, and probably final time going here! I walked in at 6:30pm (they close at 7pm) and asked if they had time to do a full body wax. The lady went to the back to ask one of the other ladies that worked there, and then she came back and said they had time, and told me to go to the back. So, while I was getting waxed the lady was rushing because I guess one of the other ladies in the salon was rushing her to get me out of there by 7. So she only was able to do my Brazilian, and told me she didn’t have time to do the rest. When I asked if I could pay for the full body today, and come back tomorrow to get the rest done I was told that I could not, and it all had to be done on the same day! To me, this was very unprofessional because they told me they had time to do a full body wax but only gave me a Brazilian wax. I have been going here for months and never had a bad experience, and just came in to get ready for my prom this weekend. I got my eyelashes tinted and there is a line above my lash line that has left me looking like I have eyeliner on half my eye. I got my eyebrows threaded and tinted and somehow they managed to take my nice, even, thick brows, and turn them uneven, thin, and BLACK when I asked for MEDIUM BROWN. I am disgusted and will not be coming back. I just relocated to Arkansas, I was super skeptical about trying a new place. I walked in and the ladies here were so welcoming.. I was told which would be better due to me having very sensitive skin. The first time I got my eyebrows and lip threaded it hurt and I broke out super badly the 2nd time I just did my eyebrows and I still broke out but wasn't as bad... they are reasonably priced and open to  conversation with you.. Lol why ain't nobody tell me that they use strips when performing the Brazilian wax?!! I was very surprised. And initially, regretting my decision to come here because I know how much strips/soft wax hurt compared to hard wax. Turns out, she used  sugar even though I asked for a wax. Fine by me. It was the same price, and I got the same results. Better yet, my vulva felt a lot less inflamed afterwards than it usually does with hard wax. I liked the all naturalness of the sugar and so did my mons pubis. Not gon' lie, it hurt bad DAB but, after she told me to relax, and I convinced myself it wasn't that bad---it wasn't that bad!I'll come here over European wax center any day. It's a little cheaper, and they offer threading to go along with your tortuous hair tipping procedure. The threading was standard, no complaints. I randomly walked in here one day after I mustered up the courage to get my very first Brazilian wax, and I don't regret it. I opted for sugaring, which supposedly hurts less because the all-natural wax only sticks to hair and not to your skin. I wouldn't know if it actually hurts less because I've never even gotten a regular wax to compare it to. A girl named Jeré did my first couple of waxes. She was really professional and chatted with me throughout the session. It actually didn't hurt that bad.I never make appointments because my work schedule is weird, so I kind of just get whoever's available when I walk-in. A girl named Maggie serviced me before, too and she was good. A perfectionist. Most recently, Sonam serviced me. She is FAST, I tell you, and thorough. I have been a regular customer here for 3 years and i have never had any issues. They are very professional and really care about their customers. I've been coming to Unique Threading, on Cantrell, for about a year now; but my most recent session with Jerè was impeccable. I got an underarm sugaring wax & Brazilian sugaring, and although I was very past due for my Brazilian, she attempted to lessen the pain to the best of her abilities, she took her time, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have been to this business many many times over the years, and previously was always pleased with the service. May 3, I went in for a threading and armpit wax. There was a new employee working, one I had not seen before. She did my threading and it was very very painful and took longer than normal. Usually it's just a little pressure and done very quickly, but this actually had me in tears. When she took me back to be waxed, she kept applying wax to old wax and ripping it... off, vocally frustrated by my hair growth pattern. She did this to the point I started to actually bleed. I had to ask her to stop, because she was determined to get all the hair. I asked her at the beginning twice if it was long enough to be waxed and she said yes. However after causing me injury, she admitted I probably should have waited another few days. She then tried to wax my other armpit, and I completely refused. She then said I needed to come back five days later and she would wax me again Within 24 hours my right armpit was inflamed, red, and incredibly painful. I was forced to wear tight long sleeves to keep the skin from rubbing. I don't know if she simply needs more experience or what, but it was very unpleasant. I messaged the company twice (and previously they have been extremely prompt with replies for reservations or questions) with pictures and got no response. Twice a year, these ladies put henna on my hair. It's much less expensive than traditional salon coloring, and the result is gorgeous and long-lasting. My natural hair color is auburn, so I only need a touch-up every six months. The process is time-consuming. Plan on going home in a shower cap with a ton of "mud" on your hair that smells of tea. The longest I've left it on is about 9 hours overnight. (It will stain--wrap your hair in dark towels.) Your shower will look like a car wash that has been frequented by trucks who have been "mudding."...but it is absolutely worth it. Read Less

I got a Brazilian sugaring the other day for the very first time, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be! The first girl did an amazing job, and she made me feel very at ease. I was very comfortable and felt relaxed almost the whole time.There were just a few spots that she didn't see, and not 100% of the hair was removed, but the ladies at the salon were very gracious and told me to come back in to have it touched up. When I went back, Maggie took care of me, and she was exceptional. She made sure every hair was gone and I was completely satisfied and comfortable with my service. I love this place! So much better than waxing my eyebrows, the threading works wobders... and the lash extensions are reasonably priced and stay on well. I went here specifically to get my eyebrows threaded and the woman tried to convince me to get my mustache threaded too. After denying her ploy to get more money out me I handed her my credit card. She gave it back to me and told me there was an ATM in the back that I could use. So I ended up paying an extra $2.50 just so her business wouldn't get charged a dime. My charge was around $23 and I could only take out by 20s. So I ended up having to take out $40 from the ATM. I will never go back here. My first visit was excellent and I loved the lil lady that did them. I went yesterday (only 2nd time) and this lady hurt me like non other the whole time!!! I was so ready for her to be done!! I wanted them tinted and boy did she ever tint them. Didn't even ask if I wanted light, med or dark. I have nearly BLACK eyebrows with blonde hair now!! Did not realize in their lighting.. These ladies know what they're doing! I've had bad waxes at several other "specialty" locations with unsatisfactory results. THIS is not one of those places. This is actually the only threading salon I visit normally with no issues....but today I found it very rude to be told next time carry cash to cut down on OUR credit card cost!!! What???? As a business owner if the credit card cost is that much of an issue don't offer that option to pay not everyone carries cash and I work hard for my money and feel I should be able to spend it in whatever form I choose needless to say I won't be back I'm sure my debit card will work fine elsewhere!!! Thank god! Seriously, thank god someone told me about Unique threading salon. I went to another place when I first moved to Little Rock and they did an okay job but there were still some hairs left behind. However I went to Unique yesterday and could not believe how much more professional these ladies were. First, you sign up on the iPad up front, then the threading specialist of your choice gets rid of all the unwanted hair. For $8 for eyebrows, it's a steal! Yes! I'm so glad to have found another great threading option in town! I took a chance on Unique when I spotted it after barre class and I'm glad I went in! The lady who did my eyebrows did an excellent job and she was super quick too, even though I'd let my eyebrows get a little bit out of control and usually that means my hair gets super tough to yank out. Their prices are very good too! And from the sign-in process they have a loyalty points program which is nice, I didn't ask about how fast they accumulate though.Definitely planning on going back for eyelash and other services, I'll update on that too once I get some done. I've been going to this Salon to get my eye brows threaded since 2012. The owner and her daughter are very sweet and very down to earth. I've been threading my eye brows for 13 years, and I'm so glad I found a place like this after moving around the country so much. I always come out looking great and refreshed once they shape my eye brows and get rid of that "bush woman" look. :) They are decently priced as well compared to other places I've seen around Arkansas. The environment inside is very calm/zen like and takes the "pain" of threading out of existence. I'm immune to it now since it's been 13 years, but it's nice to feel relaxed while you're pampering yourself. If y9ou haven't been here, you need to! I would not give them any stars at all if that were a chose. The threading was adequate. The lady who I believe to be the owner offered me a facial. I replied NO thank you. At the time she offered, everywhere I went I was receiving compliments on my skin. My dermatologist had cleared my skin of acne and I was enjoying an acne free glowing complexion for months and did not want to rock the boat. I am still enjoying this acne free complexion. I eventually ask my dermatologist about the facials offered because I was somewhat interested. He said that it was not a very good idea for acne prone people to receive these facials. 4 trips later she was still asking when will you do your facial. She put aloe vera on after the threading. She was obviously angry at my NO response and explanation from the dermatologist. She put the aloe vera on my face in a very rough and angry manner. I had a groupon for this organization that expired. They refused to take it despite groupon saying the value paid never expires. They told me they have no way to scan it and they can't provide the service for free. I didn't want free service. I wanted what I paid for. Also, I tried coming to this place before my groupon expired on a sunday (my only off day)  no one was there when they were advertised as opening at 12pm on Sunday!
