Went here today for my first tattoo, I've wanted to get a tattoo for years but have always had reservations. A friend and I walked in to check out the work after being recommended, spur of the moment we both got tattoos, Andrew Parker was our artist. All the yeses and good vibes with this place. I'm a weirdo with small, meaningful tattoos from random places I've traveled. This is one of those. I walked in after reviewing Yelp and a suggestion from a girl I'd recently met. So glad I did. The location is clean, really well organized and the guys are welcoming. No appointment necessary. Tracey greeted me, talked me through my design, sketched it, worked with me being picky on the position and then tattooed it. His hand was steady and he was a confident artist. Looked for a long while for someone in Tucson to do a traditional Japanese sleeve for me. Spoke to a few people a ran into around town who had awesome Japanese tattoos, Jay was who did their work. I had the great pleasure of being tattooed by Tracy Martino yesterday. Sanctity Tattoo is clean and professional and everyone I spoke to was super friendly.  I'd met Tracy before as he's tattooed two of my (adult) children. I appreciated how open and authentic he was then so when I wanted to get ink representing my family and our love of nature, of course I went to him.  I took him a rough sketch and some reference photos and the image he created was above and beyond my expectations. I had Josh give me my first tattoo last September. This place is legit, as soon as you walk in, it looks clean and it smells like rubbing alcohol because how often they clean everything. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and I will definitely go there for my next tattoo!Read Less

Yesterday I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Andrew. Three words: OH MY GOD! He's amazing, friendly and made me feel really comfortable. A perfect tattoo afternoon from Andrew Parker and Sanctity Tattoo. My friend and I dropped in on a week day to get some arm pieces. They got us both in and chatted about our design. While they drew up our designs we chose an awesome Greek restaurant among many others. Andrew was able to finish both of our tattoos quickly and both were done perfectly to our loving. This review is for the artist Tracy Martino, since he is the only artist I've worked with. Before I came to Sanctity, I had been looking for a tattoo artist for years in both Western Washington and Tucson. And I'll be the first to admit that I was a bit apprehensive to go to a shop so close to the university. And to my surprise, when I came to Tucson, I had no idea that there would be as many tattoo shops as there are retirement communities. Many that I visited were sketchy. However, when I met Tracy at Sanctity I was instantly comfortable and pleased with how clean and professional the shop appeared. I really enjoy working with Tracy because we work together with designs--I give him a few ideas and he sends me a sketch. I really do feel like Tracy is invested in his craft, and that's the kind of artist you'd want to work with. He's always been honest with sizing and the prices have never been a surprise. It's always a great experience when I come to Sanctity. I've flown in from Maryland on several occasions to get tattooed by Jay. It's definitely worth the time and effort to travel when you get an amazing tattoo from a world famous artist that owns a great shop.
