Disappointed. Wanted to come back here for 2 tattoos because I had previously gotten my nose pierced here and was pleased. The tattoos weren't anything intricate at all. Explained my vision to an artist up front and he proceeded to make me believe that no one would be able to do said tattoos because they'd end up looking like "shit" (his words, not mine) because they weren't big enough. He also complained about his shift ending an hour earlier and that he wanted to go home. Sorry, but that is not the customer's concern... But, anyway, I left and ended up getting exactly what I described at State of Art Tattoo for a fair price without a problem at all! I went to get my septum redone after I noticed that it was really crooked and too high from the first time. It was first done at their other location so I went to the location where the manager was. He re did it and it looked so much better. Well since then I moved and wanted to get my jewelry switched with something else so I went to a local shop where I live now. When she first looked at it she told me it's not where it's suppose to be. It's suppose to be lower on the nose and on the skin. Not the cartilage. She was trying to switch out the jewelry but because it was too high she had a hard time getting the new piece in. It took 30 mins for her to finally get it in. It would have been easier to do if it wasn't in cartilage and was lower... so no I don't recommend this place because both times I got it done it wasn't how it was suppose to be.... I also put a review on their Facebook page and the manager was blaming the other piercer for him messing up. Saying she doesn't know what she is talking about. He pretty much called me a lier when I told him my piercing is in cartilage. If he can't own up to his mistakes then he shouldn't be a manager.... Read Less

I went to see Hector (for Precision Piercing) last night at The Enchanted Dragon Tattoo Studio and let me tell you, it was easily the single best piercing experience I have ever had! The shop is cleanly and inviting. Hector is knowledgeable, direct, extremely kind, and just an overall amazing person. His aim is to genuinely help people out. He has easily done this for me. I got my daith piercing done for migraines. He checked both sides to see which side was more reactive, for best results. He explained the pressure points and how it basically works. He stressed that it is a tool, not a fix all and sent me home with an after care instruction sheet. When I presented a problem (could not submerge my head under water due to other procedure), he presented a solution (gave me something to irrigate my ear). Immediately after the piercing he preformed what I felt was magic on my back. I have a lot of issues with it due to my heavy duty work in the past. My pain instantly went away, as did my headache. I had been wanting my nose pierced for a very long time, but after reading reviews and watching videos kinda made me change my mind. This week though my sister got her nose pierced and after hearing her moans and tears welling up in her eyes again took the urge to get mine pierced. we left but then went back an hour later and told the young lady I am ready, sat on her table while she cleaned her instruments and i saw the needle and she told me to hold my breath which i did while humming (takes my mind off certain things) and within a couple of seconds was done. NO teary eyes no moans, just is that It! I will even go back for another some day. So those horrible reviews are not what they turn out to be on the contrary, wonderful job this young girl did. I called the shop asking if they sold titanium or gold jewelry,  thinking that my piercing was having an allergic reaction.  Hector asked me to come in so he could take a look at the piercing.  The piercing was on my right hand, index finger.  When Hector saw the piercing, he explained to me and in great detail what was happening and why the affected area wasn't healing.  It was not infected,  it was not having an allergic reaction.... it was just located in a high traffic spot and,  no matter what,  it wasn't going to get any better.  Hector could have easily sold me expensive jewelry,  but he was honest and patient and because of that, I'll be a new customer to his shop.  Great guy! My friend and I visited yesterday for nose stud piercings. We met with Jay initially but he wasn't available and referred us to Hector. I was a nervous wreck and Hector was very informative and patient. He walked me through everything and kept talking as he pierced. I really feel bad leaving a poor review for this place but I am pretty disappointed especially because it was recommended by a professional tattoo artist and I had also heard great things about Hector who is a piercer at this Enchanted Dragon location. I am by no means leaving this review for the entire shop as I have never been tattooed here and I am sure they do awesome work and I also know Hector does as well and is well-known for his piercing skills. I may have just been the unlucky customer. I went in to get a helix tattoo pierced that I had done months ago. That one came out awesome. It was quick and I honestly didn't even feel pain while the needle went in. The 3rd piercings on my lobe I also went in for though is where it got tricky. Hector drew the dots onto my lobes, gave them a double-check and then went in for the piercing. After he did both ears, he kept looking at them, asked me to backup, looked again and said "I don't think I like this, I'm not satisfied." The LAST thing you want to hear after someone just pierced your body part(s). I thought he was joking but he was dead-serious. He then explained to me that the space between the second piercing I already had on one lobe was too close to the new piercing he had just done. I looked for myself in the mirror and didn't like how close it was to my existing piercing and it was also too close to the edge of my ear lobe. He explained he could re-do it if I was okay with it. I wasn't thrilled about having to go through the pain of the needle go through my ear lobe yet again (which surprisingly hurt way more than the one on my cartilage) but I wasn't satisfied with the outcome so I let him re-do it. The second attempt worked out much better but then he started looking at my other lobe and said it wasn't even with the ear he had just re-pierced. After yet again, looking in the mirror for myself to see what he was talking about, he was right. Again, he said he would re-pierce it if I wanted. Obviously I did.Unfortunately, one of the piercings on my lobe that Hector did is absolutely perfect but the other isn't. You would never notice if you were looking from a distance but that's not the point. I know it's not spaced right and it bothers me. I went in for 3 piercings and left with 5. I could have said I didn't like the second attempt on the ear lobe that wasn't to my liking but by then, I was don't having needles poked through my ear and I wasn't about to get a 6th piercing in one day. I am all about paying good money for a job well done. But $90 plus tip ($115) for 3 piercings and having to have two of the three re-done is outrageous. Pleased or not, I hate people who don't tip well or don't tip at all so I did anyway. I am satisfied with my helix piercing but I still left disappointed in my lobe piercing on one of my ears. I have had migraines my entire early life , growing up and still at 22,  nothing seemed to solve the issues and constant pain! However, when after being told again and again by a friend to get my daith pierced,'I went into Enchanted Dragon and decided to get it done! I walked in with a throbbing headache and nausea. Hector is very precise and extremely talented. He's not only pleasantly professional, he's also very sweet with my kids and gave them both lots of encouragement. I'm so glad for everyone who recommended him because he is the best! I didn't know places that use a gun like Claire's, are horrible places to get your kids pierced. I had to get my oldest redone because that's what I did with her and one of her piercings was all jacked up. It was way too close to the cartilage, not in line with the other one, and the hole wasn't even pierced straight through-- it was crooked!  It really bothered her so much that she couldn't stand wearing earrings in that ear Piercing places like this are great! I walked in with  an idea and one small image, looking for an artist that didn't work here. I shared my idea with Dave G and he took lots of time learning about my vision and other things I like to get to know my style. He shared his portfolio with me and we scheduled my latest tattoo. Before the scheduled appointment Dave sent me the image he drew up and it was better than I imagined. Two days later, I had changed the location of  the tattoo 3 times, as the drawing he sent was so beautiful I wanted people to see it. Jay did my double helix piercing about 6 weeks ago and it is healing wonderfully! Years ago I had an industrial piercing (done somewhere else) but ended up removing the jewelry and letting the holes close because of bumps/scars that formed at each pierced site. But with my helix piercings, so far so good. He was also very welcoming, calming, professional and polite; not intimidating at all! I had my triple forward helix done at Straight to The Point 2 years ago. I always thought the lowest piercing was too close to the middle one, so when the jewelry fell out, I didn't replace it and let it close.
