It is either you love Christ or you hate him. “Christians” who give these guys a one star should re-evaluate the positions they disagree with Apologia on, and compare those topics with what the Bible honestly says about them. Dishonestly representing Apologia’s positions to justify hating them because some of their messages seem sharp, is truly a sad deal. Godspeed Apologia 👊🏽

I made a trip out to Apologia Church this last weekend, excited to see the format, and inspired by these videos. What I found however disappointed me. Jeff maintained strict control over the microphone and there was no opportunity for questioning or dialogue. From the Bible, we can clearly see that when Jesus entered a synagogue, even though the religious leaders disagreed with him, they allowed him opportunity to speak, and there was room for apologetics (i.e. defense of rel...igious doctrines in the face of objections). However Jeff has unfortunately designed the Apologia Church to be as free from apologetics as possible. Jeff states in church that they should follow the Bible, but the unstated premise is that they are to follow the Bible exactly as Jeff understands it. Jeff's knowledge of the Bible is encyclopedic to be sure, but without any room for dialogue or questioning (like that in this video), any falsehood Jeff has, goes unchecked and absorbed into the ears of his flock - creating a follower congregation culture that has no resemblance to the critical thinking capacities portrayed by its leader in these YouTube videos. This past Sunday, Jeff spoke in his sermon about the falseness of the prophecies made by Joseph Smith, but one thing the Sunday Mormon church format does allow for, is for people to talk about, question, and even disagree with what's said. Jeff's church takes 2 hours, yet makes no time for any of this (unless you want to wait in the line of people that forms around Jeff after the sermon). Why name your church Apologia Church if you're not going to allow people to object, question, or dialogue (i.e. practice apologetics) regarding the truth? If Jesus were to enter Apolgogia Church, he wouldn't be given a chance to speak (as he did in instances where he entered synagogues and questioned priest leaders in Bible), because Jeff is either speaking into the loud microphone the whole time, or the band is playing music. I wanted to write a suggestion e-mail or phone call, but the church doesn't have an e-mail or phone number on its website so I'm writing my thoughts here. A few positive notes to balance my criticism out: I was greeted by several people, I got and liked your "fiat" joke Jeff, the off-the-cuff memorized Biblical and other knowledge that Jeff has is incredible to witness. The have and shame they spew on the community should not be protected by freedom of speech, or religion. They are threatening and violent to anyone that disagrees with they're far out belief system. I downloaded the Mormon pamphlet in Spanish and there is a mistake. The titles on the top of the page are in the wrong order it should be switched around. If a Mexican reads as it will say that, on “la Biblia”side, that Jesus is a created being. Just wanted to let you know of the mistake. God bless.

I attended a service at Apologia last weekend, because I was visiting the area. I am familiar with their online videos and i have learned a lot from
them already. I loved this church even more after last sunday and I would probably go back if i lived there or visit again! They seemed laid back and friendly, but most importantly having a passion for reaching the lost world. The liturgy seemed like it had elements of a reformed church and an evangelical church, which felt kinda engaging and also sound in doctrine. Finally pastor Jeff is very deep in his knowledge of the bible, and I was thankful that he spent a good amount of time showing us hidden gems from the old testament. Overall this is a solid church in my opinion that strives to influence the world with the gospel message.

I've had the great opportunity to share in worship with this church last Sunday while traveling in Arizona. I've been following their outreach for about 3-4 years over social media and been blessed and encouraged in many ways. I know some have been harsh and critical of them but I've seen nothing but humility and reverence for the scriptures. It seems persecution and the message of the Gospel sometimes go together in this world... Who knew.... Anyway, it was nice to meet some of the members of the church, after all we will be spending eternity together, and I hope to join them again. Blessings to them and Glory to God!

This church is amazing! I am so proud to be a member of a church with such a caring Christ like pastoral staff. Pastor Jeff is an excellent speaker and teacher and his messages are thought provoking and honest to the word of God. Both pastor Luke and Jeff are fabulous councilors and are always there for their members. They also have great leaders and deacons who are available to meet your needs. The standout quality about this church is how loving and accepting they have been to my adult friend with down syndrome. They welcomed him with open arms and showed him the love of Christ that he hasn't felt at other churches. I would and do recommend Apologia church to anyone looking for a church home!

Straight forward and clear message as to what the teachings of the gospel were. I sadly have not had the chance to attend this amazing church, but I've watched many of the sermons by Jeff Durbin on youtube. I think this is great proof of the fact that there isn't really multiple intepretations of the gospel, but there is only one true way Jesus was teaching. All in all, I love this church and what they stand for. It's helped me in my own faith and I hope it helps others as well. Maybe someday I can actually attend in person :)

Incredible church, after 3 days of fasting and prayer the Lord led me to this church via YouTube. After 3 months of watching sermons I knew it was time to attend a service & from the moment I walked in I knew I had found our new home. The congregation here is amazing, they're humble loving warm people, beautiful babies & children everywhere, my daughter was really excited it's very family oriented. The deacons were amazing I can't thank them enough for praying over me and the message today was truly inspiring as every sermon I've watched is. As we drove home today the word precious came to mind, which describes this church perfectly! If you're looking for a church that preaches the true word of God with loving warm people, and a feeling that you're really in the presence of the Lord joyfully worshipping Him then look no further! Thank you everyone, thank you Jesus for leading us here, & I can't wait until next Sunday! God bless.

The teachers here are false. They are very sincere in their teaching in a way to make you believe, but don't fall for it. Jeff the ring leader is a man with Calvinistic views (which are unbiblical and teach God hates his creations TULIP) who will tell you why he's right and you're wrong. They say they care for your salvation as a ploy to get your money. They care more about the hits on their YouTube videos than they do about the welfare of your souls. As a concerned Christian of the area I hope whoever reads this will go to a different church. Christ will not be found here.

Apologia Church has been a wonderful encouragement. While they are off on their understanding of the distinction between Abraham and Moses which comes through in their denial of baptism to the whole household, they have a wonderful ecclesiology that shows itself in unity of purpose and action. They are what I would describe as Particular Baptists having avoided the worst excesses of the Radical Reformation and the teachings of Thomas Muntser. They now offer as wonderful Christian family where one can grow in the Doctrines of Grace.

Best church I've ever attended, solid doctrine, church discipline, amazing elders and deacons, ministry driven, evangelism outreach on point and the definition of a true family. I can't say enough good things about Apologia and I count myself blessed to be apart of the church and their ministry. Lots of love to all my brothers and sisters God bless you all.

I attended a service at Apologia last weekend, because I was visiting the area. I am familiar with their online videos and i have learned a lot from
them already. I loved this church even more after last sunday and I would probably go back if i lived there or visit again! They seemed laid back and friendly, but most importantly having a passion for reaching the lost world. The liturgy seemed like it had elements of a reformed church and an evangelical church, which felt kinda engaging and also sound in doctrine. Finally pastor Jeff is very deep in his knowledge of the bible, and I was thankful that he spent a good amount of time showing us hidden gems from the old testament. Overall this is a solid church in my opinion that strives to influence the world with the gospel message.

I've had the great opportunity to share in worship with this church last Sunday while traveling in Arizona. I've been following their outreach for about 3-4 years over social media and been blessed and encouraged in many ways. I know some have been harsh and critical of them but I've seen nothing but humility and reverence for the scriptures. It seems persecution and the message of the Gospel sometimes go together in this world... Who knew.... Anyway, it was nice to meet some of the members of the church, after all we will be spending eternity together, and I hope to join them again. Blessings to them and Glory to God!

This church is amazing! I am so proud to be a member of a church with such a caring Christ like pastoral staff. Pastor Jeff is an excellent speaker and teacher and his messages are thought provoking and honest to the word of God. Both pastor Luke and Jeff are fabulous councilors and are always there for their members. They also have great leaders and deacons who are available to meet your needs. The standout quality about this church is how loving and accepting they have been to my adult friend with down syndrome. They welcomed him with open arms and showed him the love of Christ that he hasn't felt at other churches. I would and do recommend Apologia church to anyone looking for a church home!

Praise God! His plan for redemption in my life saw that I was born again into this amazing body of believers (August, 2011). Through the most devastating valleys and joyful summits, my brothers and sisters in Christ have loved me completely and sacrificially. The people here are family and we love Jesus (and eachother) fiercely by grace through faith. We are committed to sharing the Gospel of Christ. I've been blessed with the ministry of this church. I've never attended, but their internet presence has been such an encouraging ministry in my life and my family. May God continue to use pastor Jeff, pastor Luke, and the rest of Apologia church. One day my family and I will make it out to Arizona or maybe Kauai for a visit.

I wish that they lived what they preached. There's a lot of knowledge here in Jeff. The others are just followers. Jeff's downfall is that he is not humble, he is arrogant and belittling. He does not have love for his brothers. He accuses innocent people (namely MINOR children of now ex-members of
Apologia Church). He almost broke up a family. He is wrong on so many levels. I pray he repents.
I have been to this church several times, I will never go again.

Straight forward and clear message as to what the teachings of the gospel were. I sadly have not had the chance to attend this amazing church, but I've watched many of the sermons by Jeff Durbin on youtube. I think this is great proof of the fact that there isn't really multiple intepretations of the gospel, but there is only one true way Jesus was teaching. All in all, I love this church and what they stand for. It's helped me in my own faith and I hope it helps others as well. Maybe someday I can actually attend in person :)

Incredible church, after 3 days of fasting and prayer the Lord led me to this church via YouTube. After 3 months of watching sermons I knew it was time to attend a service & from the moment I walked in I knew I had found our new home. The congregation here is amazing, they're humble loving warm people, beautiful babies & children everywhere, my daughter was really excited it's very family oriented. The deacons were amazing I can't thank them enough for praying over me and the message today was truly inspiring as every sermon I've watched is. As we drove home today the word precious came to mind, which describes this church perfectly! If you're looking for a church that preaches the true word of God with loving warm people, and a feeling that you're really in the presence of the Lord joyfully worshipping Him then look no further! Thank you everyone, thank you Jesus for leading us here, & I can't wait until next Sunday! God bless.

The teachers here are false. They are very sincere in their teaching in a way to make you believe, but don't fall for it. Jeff the ring leader is a man with Calvinistic views (which are unbiblical and teach God hates his creations TULIP) who will tell you why he's right and you're wrong. They say they care for your salvation as a ploy to get your money. They care more about the hits on their YouTube videos than they do about the welfare of your souls. As a concerned Christian of the area I hope whoever reads this will go to a different church. Christ will not be found here.

This church's mission isn't to bring people to Jesus. Their mission isn't to feed the hungry, clothe the poor, or heal the sick. Their mission isn't to bring light into the world. Their mission is to "end abortion", something Jesus never mentioned in the Bible. Standing outside of Planned Parenthood (which provides affordable health services to poor women) shaming women for using their health services, assuming they're all murderers is self righteous douchebaggery, NOT ministry.

Apologia Church has been a wonderful encouragement. While they are off on their understanding of the distinction between Abraham and Moses which comes through in their denial of baptism to the whole household, they have a wonderful ecclesiology that shows itself in unity of purpose and action. They are what I would describe as Particular Baptists having avoided the worst excesses of the Radical Reformation and the teachings of Thomas Muntser. They now offer as wonderful Christian family where one can grow in the Doctrines of Grace.
