I went into Club Tattoo with a few friends so we could all get different ear piercings. I have truly never experienced such poor customer service at any shop, restaurant, etc. The girls at the front desk were very friendly, but our piercer was rude to us from the moment we walked into the shop. Any time we asked a question she treated us like we were idiots-- even when we asked how much the jewelry was (prices were not on display), she was very rude...how are we supposed to pick what we want if we don't know how much anything costs?And for the members of our group who were nervous or took a little extra time to make sure the piercing was in the right place, she acted impatient and annoyed, which made our group even more nervous. After all the stress, the long wait, the poor treatment and the huge bill (the jewelry here was pricey), my piercings did not even turn out even. Now I have to spend even more money and time to let the hole close up and find another place to redo my piercing. Extremely disappointed. Read Less

Went to this place to get two cartilage piercings, first was told I could not get the cartilage piercing I wanted due to my ear "being too small." Then, I wanted a double piercing and then I decided I wanted one instead and then was coerced into getting two. Unwittingly was given the most expensive jewelry. I went to this tattoo parlor because I believed it would be a professional setting and a great place to get my first tattoo. I spoke to Mark about getting a small tattoo upside down on the inside of my elbow that had about 3 different colors. He belittled me about my choice of tattoo, told me multiple times how it is not a good choice to get it upside down because people would ask me why I got it that way, and telling my friends who were statins right next to me about how it's a good thing that I'm getting a small tattoo because it will fade and be easy to cover up. I was honestly intimidated and take aback by how this man was speaking to me. However I did decide to go through with it and handed over my ID for paperwork. As I am standing, waiting and thinking about all that Mark had said to me, I begin to hear him speaking very loudly to someone in the back about everything he said bad about my choice of tattoo. He was saying extremely rude and unprofessional things about me and a personal decision that I was about to make. I told the woman working the front desk that i wanted my ID back and was not going to get a tattoo from someone who was talking shit about it to people in the back. This please is a total scam. Came in to get a cartilage piercing, nothing too complicated, and keep in mind, I did my research before hand and knew just the piercing without jewelry was 25. I come in, and nothing was too uncommon, got greeted right away and shown the jewelry cabinet. On the back of the display racks are prices, and the one I picked said 25$. The piercer came back over, and when I told him which one I wanted, he told me that would be 50-60$, which threw me off because one, he couldn't give me a firm price and two, he told me to ignore the prices on the display. I let go of it and picked one which had the label (25$) right next to it on the front of the display. I go to check out, and the lady is hiding what she's writing on the paper work. I ask her to clarify what she's writing, and what the pricing would be, and the piercing turns out to be 30, and the stud I picked out ended up being 37. Totally thrown off and feeling worried, I left the place. There's much better out there, especially with people who are more transparent. Read Less

AWESOME!A few days later I received an email stating that they can not honor this arrangement and will ship out the card with the purchased price only of $280.This is a total bait and switch tactic. Completely unprofessional and a huge disloyalty to customers.I attempted to email them shortly after and all my emails went unreplied. It wasnt until a filed a complaint through PayPal is when someone replied back. I did get my refund and they canceled the gift card.Be wary of a company who practices these acts to get people in their door!If they instead honored their deal or in the end or gave me a refund and allowed me to keep my balance on the gift card, not only would they have had a customer walk in their doors and give them more money, they also wouldn't be receiving bad reviews warning people of their shady business practices. Without a doubt THE MOST PERSONABLE tattoo shop I have ever been to. I started getting tattoos when I was 16, I am now 31.. I've been to shops all over Arizona, some in California, Seattle and Las Vegas. It's honestly not my favorite place to go (tattoo shops in general) because so many make you feel out of place, uncomfortable etc. but Not club tattoo old town. Got my ears pierced less than a week ago. Was persuaded to buy a more expensive pair of earrings because apparently the warranty would replace damage for life. After a week of having the piercings the post and earring fell out of one ear and was so tiny I could not find it, I called the store and they said they couldn't do anything. One day later the other fell out and because I saw it happen I grabbed it and went in immediately and was told the problem was due to a "faulty post" they had given me when I was pierced. After being told that was that issue they would not replace the earring or offer a return to what they admitted was their own faulty post. Very rude interaction, unaccommodating and offered a small discount to buy an earring replacement that they did not even have. Do not recommend. Read Less

What a great place! Started off with a lovely greeting from about 4 of the staff. Super friendly and welcoming and I was shown all of the great jewelry...wow!! My boyfriend and I always on a whim do random desires and acts that sometimes include piercing and tattoos...I have had Nic pierce me twice, he is so nice and has a great sense of humor. I cannot emphasize enough how great of an experience I had here! I decided on a whim I wanted to get my first tattoo, and called about walk-in availability. I was in the area visiting, and decided to get an ear piercing randomly. They were fast at getting paperwork done and actually getting me back for the piercing. Facility was clean. The environment was a bit uptight I mean I'm sure this is a great tattoo/ piercing shop...but It more felt like I was walking into a snooty financial management firm. I went in on Father's Day and Moises (@moi_ram_ on instagram) was really great with accommodating my price range and helped me create a tattoo to memorialize my father who passed away. He also touched up a smaller tattoo I had for FREE when other places were trying to charge me $80+! Talk about customer service! The girls at the front desk were extremely nice and cared about both me and my tattoo i was getting! They really care about their customers which is all anyone could ask for! Came in on a whim several weeks ago and got my forward helix pierced by Emily who was a total babe! She was patient while I picked the stud I wanted and I couldn’t have asked for a better piercing experience. Five stars for Emily! The reason I’m giving an overall 4 star review is because the parking sucked. So much. It was so frustrating that I almost didn’t come in. I’m glad I did because Emily rocked! But it was nearly impossible to find parking and this was midday on a weekday. I even tried to park behind the building but I was afraid of getting towed since there was a serious lack of signage so I just drove around in circles for at least 20 mins.... I just feel like if they want to encourage business the least they could do is make parking easier! It was such a turn off. I love this place.  They've done 2 out of 3 face piercings for me and changed out the jewelry on all 3 on several different occasions.  Some places act as if they're inconvenienced by the request but Club Tattoo has always been super helpful and friendly; they help me pick the right jewelry and really know their stuff.  When I initially got my nose and lip done, I had 2 different piercers but both were very professional.  Not only were their tools sterile, but they informed me of the total cleaning process which was actually pretty interesting and put me at ease.  The front desk girls are always so friendly, and ultimately I have no reason to go anywhere else.Update:  I just returned to Club Tattoo to have them change out yet another piercing for me and Nick helped me again, with the same fantastic service.  I them!! Finally decided to get my first tattoo and chose Lucas at Club Tattoo to do it. It was a very easy and quick consult, I knew exactly what I want to get and Lucas got it also. The place is nice and clean. Showed up early to the actual appointment. The process was smooth, Lucas was easy to work with about changing some design and front desk staff was friendly. I don't usually write reviews unless I really feel like someone needs the recognition for something that I thought was absolutely amazing, or if I had an awful experience somewhere and think the company/person needs improvement on something that I don't want someone else going through what I did there. Anyways, let me get on with my story... Sooooo, I've wanted my nipples pierced since I was in like high school (I'm 28 now) but I was always too scared to get them done thinking something would go horribly wrong, or that it would be excruciatingly painful. My girlfriend and I were eating dinner and doing some shopping at fashion square when the subject of piercings got brought up and I told her that I've always wanted my nipples pierced, so we went online and typed in "piercing shops near me" and Club Tattoo was the first one to pop up and had awesome reviews! So we made our way over just to see the pricing and if I felt that that was the right place for me to get it done. As soon as we walked in I knew that was where I wanted to get my piercings done at (if I was going to that is). The shop was so clean and the staff was beyond friendly and so helpful with everything. The front desk girl was super helpful and went over basic pricing with me and I was really surprised at how cheap it was (they were making it easier and easier for me to actually grow some balls and get it done)... shop was clean, staff was amazing, pricing was extremely reasonable... 3 for 3! Now I just needed to meet the person that was going to do my piercings, and if I felt they were good,  I would finally get the piercings I've always wanted! As my girlfriend and I were looking at the different jewelry, the most badass chick with the nicest demeanor approached us and introduced herself. As soon as Emily came out and started talking to us, We clicked instantly and I knew that I was finally gonna get those piercings!!! Wooo! She totally put me at ease and was just super chill, my nerves weren't shot anymore once she started talking to us and explaining the whole process. She told me to go ahead and pick what jewelry I wanted (if I wanted something other than the basic silver barbell) and that she would be out after she was done doing the piercings ahead of me. She really saved me money by telling me that I should just go with the traditional one for now and later on I can always get something fancier. I loved that she wasn't pressuring me to buy some super expensive jewelry (as you know most places would do). After picking out what I wanted, we were waiting about 10 minutes and she came and got me... ok my nerves are shot again and I'm freaking out at this point. Emily had me come in the room (she could probably tell I was freaking out on the inside but still trying to hold it together so I didn't look like a wimp ) we talked for a little bit while she was getting everything ready and sterilized. She went over what I was going to feel and every step she was going to do before she did anything. She just made me feel safe and answered every question I had and I felt so at ease, like I was talking to a friend. Emily had me stand and she measured and marked different areas, asked me different questions about how my nipples are when they're in a relaxed state, if they're flat or rounded, she was just super thorough and really took her time making sure everything was going to be perfect for me. You can tell she really loves and takes pride in what she does. She had me look in the mirror and make sure that I liked the spot they were in... it was perfect! Now I was ready!! She had me lay on the table and just continued to talk to me to ease my mind and assured me I was going to be fine as she was sterilizing the area Iwas getting pierced. I loved that she explained everything before, and as it was happening as well. Once she was ready, she had me take a deep breath in, and just as I was exhaling I felt a sharp poke/sting (literally for .2 seconds... that's it) she pulled the needle out, than quickly and painlessly put the ring through and boom, it was done. The process for one was max 5 seconds. She was such a pro. Now time for the second one... I knew what was coming now and I was ready. Ok the second one was a little longer of a pinch but the pain went away instantly!!! It was crazy how fast the pain was there and than gone for both of them! I seriously couldn't even tell that they were in by the time I had left (and I still can't, almost a week later). I can't believe I was freaking out all these years thinking it was going to be excruciating or something was going to go terribly wrong. All in all, my overall experience at Club Tattoo was amazing!!! Emily made it a million times better with how professional and great she was! I will absolutely be recommending Emily to anyone that ever wants any kind of piercing done!!! Thank you so so much Emily for making my experience absolutely perfect in every way possible! First time at Club Tattoo and I was very impressed. The shop was very clean and organized and they assisted me as soon as I walked in the door. They had portfolios for each artist and had lots of merchandise for sale other than tattoos and piercings. "Capone" quoted me a reasonable price for what i wanted and then proceeded to give me a beautiful tattoo that I absolutely love. He was very professional and very sweet. I would absolutely recommend this place over the other tattoo shops in Old Town. The only complaint I have is that one of the tattoo artist that approached me when I first walked into the shop, totally tried to "extort" money from me by quoting me the ridiculous price of $600 - $700 for my small tattoo (when every other shop/artist quoted me $150 - $200). That's when Capone happened to be walking by, when I  asked him to give me an honest quote, which he did ($180 - $200). Thank God, because he was the terrific. I'm very very happy. Read Less

I went to get my second tattoo yesterday and once again I had a wonderful experience. My tattoo turned out just beautiful. Tattoo artist Moises is so talented and accommodating and actually remembered me from my first tattoo he did for me back in December. That really surprised me and made me feel good and that’s exactly what you want as a customer. Moises is just a really cool and laid-back guy and always gives me a better tattoo than I had envisioned. But the whole staff is very welcoming and makes you feel at home with their relaxed and open attitudes. I went into club tattoo to find a new artist after moving back to PHX. I met Justin and we hit it off and he gave me the best ideas to finish up doing a marine life leg sleeve. He does amazing work and he is super nice, easy going and patient. I have to get up often due to chronic back pain. I am also extremely picky about my art work. I like very detailed work and with this piece I needed it to look as realistic as possible. Everyone I had contact with at the shop was very friendly. I have been to a lot of shops around the country and trust me when I say some of these places have jerks for tattoo artists and front desk help. I am also doing a piercing next time I go in and they have an awesome selection to choose from. Most places do not have the awesome selection they have for body jewelry. As a 40 year old woman who is heavily tattooed with the exception of hands/feet and face I have never been refused a tattoo in my life. Well, the artist let me know that he just didn't do finger tattoos and walked away mid sentence brushing me off like I was some drunk old town cougar instead of a tipsy puma who knew exactly what she wanted. The girl working up front at least made an effort to educate me on what I already know. Yes, the ink falls out. Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm giving her the stars because she actually did make an effort. There are better shops with artists who don't make potential clients feel like assholes. Hands down the best tattoo shop I've been to.  The shop is clean, kept and comfortable and the staff is way cool.  I chose Club Tattoo Scottsdale after seeing a piece my wife's friend got.  I set up a consultation with Justin gave him my ideas for a flower I wanted for my wife.  His drawing was spot on to what I had envisioned.  When I came back for the tattoo, again I was welcomed by the friendly staff and the artist was ready for me.  Justin did an amazing job on my tattoo!  He exceeded my expectations and gave me a piece that I and my wife love.  When my son was born, i decided to go back to Justin to have his footprint done on my chest.  While we were there, my four year old daughter wanted to pick out a flower for me to tattoo.  Justin had no problem adding to the other tattoo on the same visit.  My daughter got sad when she realized the tattoo was for me and not her, lol.  Without hesitation Justin made up a small stencil of the flower and put it on her arm, then colored it in with marker to match my tattoo.  She was so excited to match me, her smile was priceless.  Both tattoos came out great as expected.  Thank you Club Tattoo Scottsdale and Justin for the wonderful service and experience.  I will be back again in the future. I went in for a piercing today as a graduation gift for myself. The entire staff was friendly. Every single person. I felt very welcome and immediately in a better mood with the contagious happiness. I met Kelli who would do my piercing. He was fantastic! I wasn't sure what I wanted done and he helped me pick something that suits my unique anatomy.  Placement was perfect, technique was perfect, after care instructions were crystal clear. I can't believe I ever went anywhere else in town! I didn't even know the business was there until I went into the one in Las Vegas and the staff told me about this location (Old Town). The atmosphere is very welcoming. The LOVELY girl at the front was extremely helpful and very sweet! I saw Kelli this afternoon to help me change out my cartilage earrings, as well as help with advice on when to re-pierce an old piercing that didn't work out. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and everything is immaculately clean! I'll be heading back in a few weeks to see Kelli for a piercing, and hopefully within the next few months for correction on a tattoo (not done by them). This place is really great. Thank you! I've been going to Lucas at Club Tattoo in Old Town for the past year and now I won't go anywhere else! He does such good work. Hes super creative and takes my basic ideas and makes them into amazing tattoos. He really takes the time to make sure that they turn out well each time. He also takes into consideration the tattoos that I already have and makes sure my new ones fit in well. All of them have healed really well and end up looking awesome. I was here in October and went in with a drawing of mine and wanted this large intricate drawing to be as small as a quarter. Well not that small but I was VERY specific on what I wanted.  Bonnie helped me through thr process and when it came time to discussing the color. She said thr quality of the tattoo will fade and she refused to do that to me. At that point I went to my air b&b and slept on it. I text her in the morning ans went in to get the work done. I am so thankful she put her foot down because that showed me that she did NOT just care about the money. She has patience,integrity and standards that she does let go of for anything. I just finished getting fresh ink done at this location, by the artist Irish.First of all, his name is freaking awesome. Second, his presence is very calming, and he is very friendly and skilled at his work. I appreciate him and the shop letting me and my girlfriend come in and get a tattoo on short notice. He did an amazing job at my hand tattoo. It was exactly how i wanted it and the color shading is perfect. And all done at a reasonable price. I was a tattoo virgin. Nervous and extremely excited, I consulted with LNZ after reviewing her portfolio online. I am a picky control freak. But LNZ listened to my numerous wants, looked at my references, and asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. I was comfortable with her from the first moment. I wanted to get a tattoo behind my right ear, I dont know the name of the guy who said that he would not do it... He said that he would not tattoo me there because he only does it to people who have alot of tattoos. I took off my hoodie that I had on to show him that I had full sleeves on both my right and left arms, then he still refused to do it... I dont know why he did not want to tattoo me but it is really fu**ed up to turn down a customer.... I will never go to Club Tattoo againg even though they did most of the work on my right arm...
