I went to Bitterdoz on my vacation last week. Eaz did my tattoo and I'm beyond pleased. The man was a gentleman and a true craftsman. Not too good of an experience with EAZ. Visited the studio, which is a room connected to other rooms that are massage parlors. The main artist Eaz, was fairly nice in the beginning, but immediately gave off an unprofessional vibe with incessant swearing. After I left, I purchased a Groupon that was advertised as"Two Hours of Tattoo Art Towards Six Hours of Time", so I thought I would receive 2 hours of design time for artwork, and 6 hours of actual inking with the machine. I was told when I wanted to redeem the groupon that this was only valid for 2 hours of inking with the machine, and also a nasty thread of messages, that said that he didn't have the patience for my questions, and also a message that read: "seemed like u were sent to mess with me honestly". Not exactly sure what this means, considering I'm a 19 year old female currently residing in Scottsdale. Don't expect professionalism when dealing with this shop. Read Less

I've been wanting a larger tattoo done for some time now... But I haven't been impressed by any of the shops I've come across in the valley.  I had a very vague idea of what I wanted... But neither the time nor the imagination to flesh anything out myself.  Again... I've been pretty disappointed in most tattoo shops in the area... I think most of them get by on really mediocre work.  But after about two minutes of being in this shop, looking through some of his drawings and photos of past clients' work - I was immediately impressed with everything I saw.  Frank, the owner and primary artist at Bitter Dose is incredibly talented.  He seems to have no problem working in whatever style the customer prefers.  He is great at taking a basic concept (like mine) and developing it into something that is interesting and intricately executed.I will be going to him for all future pieces.  I would recommend if you want some really nice work done - definitely go to this guy. Not only is he an AMAZING artist, but he makes you feel comfortable, despite your poor choices from years past! His skills are top notch and his work speaks for itself. On top of that, he's a cool guy to talk to, which is important when you're planning on spending hours together!
