For Valentine's day my husband wanted me to get my arm finished...finally after almost 2 years. He follows the staff at Black Castle Art Co. and admires their work daily on IG. I've gotten a few tattoos so far and Mikey is a good as you can get. I went in on New Years eve knowing what I want. Not knowing it was Mikey I started looking through the portfolios and found that Mikey does American Traditional. Perfect that's the style I love. I ask him when we can start this piece and luckily I get scheduled for the 3rd just a few days later. 3 hours later I get the cleanest tattoo of my life and the face he did on this girl is beautiful. I am getting work done by Eric at Black Castle. He is awesome at what he does and very creative. I am getting a Star Wars sleeve to cover up some other bad work i have had done over the years and it is turning out great. Eric is always responsive and available to me if needed. I have nothing negative to say about him. I did get the privilege to watch Josh Duffy work for a few hours and all i have to say is AMAZING! That guy has some real talent. If i could afford him i would have work done by him for sure. Almost every artist i have seen work there has been amazing. They are all very skilled and talented so if you are looking for a skilled artist who will work with you, this is your place.If you are looking for a cheap tattoo or 'something quick', i would keep moving. This is not a cheap place however the old saying "You get what you pay for" definitely applies here. If you want something good you are going to pay for it.The only complaint i would have would be they play death metal / heavy metal the entire time at a really loud volume. Don't get me wrong, i like that stuff however when you can't even talk to the artist the volume is so loud, it gets a little annoying.
